It’s over in an instant
the time you live each day
and you have no further choice to make
as time will be behind you
with eternity in view
When your life on earth is over
you will wonder not what’s due
‘ cause it happens in an instant
and you’re there with no purview 1
You will have no time to ponder
over on the other side
What you chose is what you get
No “but but buts” or I choose Jesus now
It’s over when it’s over
and you reap what you have sown
Time ends within your last gasp
In an instant you will view
what for you is now eternal
be it joy and love and all that’s good
or regret and only bad no good
– oh if only I had turned
If only I had chosen Him as Lord
Jesus still is calling
and for now there still is hope
only Jesus gives real hope
do not deny Him once again
‘cause tomorrow may not dawn
For you there will be reaping what you’ve sown
We all deserve rejection on Christ’s Judgement Day – that’s right
But His promise is that those who turn – confess
will find forever love, sheer mercy, grace
Forever is so so long
what merits your rejection of His way
when salvation’s set before you now?
You know He’s right
confess right now
before your time is over
eternal life is what it is
What will it be for you?

Hell is waiting but Jesus calls
