Got it made in the shade!? All is well? Seeing clearly these days? Think so?
Odd how some can…
Odd how some can commit so fully to their soul mate, but not to Creator God who made them (Genesis 1:26).
Odd how some can commit to a particular faith-to-die-for, without straining it for all it’s worth; make sure it’s pure and logical. They’ll even die for whatever.
Odd how some can meticulously vacuum and dust their house, but allow the cavern of their brain to become unclean, full of self, self, and self again. They cling to ideals & practices not-well-thought-through.
Odd how some can make their coffee and tea just right – but collect a mishmash MirWeb– hodgepodge, jumble of conflicting philosophies they approve as “My life guidelines” (not wanting to call it their “faith”, but what else is it?).
Odd how some can pursue death for 80 to 100 years, and never get their modus operandi MirWeb aligned at all with the God of the Universe, Jesus.
“Ye blind guides,
which strain at a gnat,
and swallow a camel.”
– Matthew 23:24
“What if God appeared right in front of you, right there where you are, right now, and asked, “I’d like you to come to heaven and enjoy my Kingdom with me.” Would you say, “No”?
What kind of fool would you be!…? You might be thinking, “What kind of fool do you think I am?”
What kind of fool? The Bible teaches…”

A useless eternal life…And time will be no more
Excerpt from: What’s your problem?
How are you “doing” your life? It’s only one life. Got anything of effect going for the next one… just beyond the veil?
What is keeping you from yielding to God? What is it about “your way” that is so appealing?
This is what the Apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10. My unauthorized paraphrase:
Don’t you know this!?
…that those who live their own way
will not actually get into God’s Kingdom?
They won’t have even the slightest share in it!

How I live this life
It really does matter how I live my life. What I do now affects the life just beyond the veil. So I have determined this: I live now for later. Since I am human, I will continue to fail God and myself, but I “run a tight ship”, as a mariner would put it. I refuse to allow bad fruit to become acceptable. I’m livin’ it to the max!
I rather prefer being an Ephesians 4:22-24 Christian.
22 that, regarding your previous way of life, you put off your old self [completely discard your former nature], which is being corrupted through deceitful desires,
23 and be continually renewed in the spirit of your mind [having a fresh, untarnished mental and spiritual attitude],
24 and put on the new self [the regenerated and renewed nature], created in God’s image, [godlike] in the righteousness and holiness of the truth
[living in a way that expresses to God your gratitude for your salvation].
____________
Working to please Christ? Yes. I’m a workin’ more on it. But I’m constantly disappointing myself when I look at my inconsistencies.
Imagine being in front of a holy, perfect God — who has no inconsistencies! How He must feel. I am reassured however that He is more forgiving of me, more tolerant of me, than I am with myself. He is my Good Shepherd (Psalm 23).
I’m making it a worthy life, “through thick and thin“! MirWeb As Charles Spurgeon put it,
“God uses people who fail – cause there aren’t any other kind around.”
So, a good habit for me in the mornings with a good cup a Joe, is to discuss “me” with God. It’s a cleansing thing:
23 Search me [thoroughly], O God, and know my heart;
Test me and know my anxious thoughts;
24 And see if there is any wicked or hurtful way in me,
And lead me in the everlasting way.
– Psalm 139:23-24

Just beyond the veil Excerpt: Just imagine entering into the presence of God. That moment when your soul and spirit leave your body here, and you “step” into God’s next dimension?
What will it be like? The Bible teaches there is a judgement after we die: “…it is appointed and destined for all men to die once and after this [comes certain] judgment” (Hebrews 9: verse 27).
