I believe in myself
So today I’m going to argue with God.
Beat him with my intellect.
He won’t stand a chance against me
– not with my logic
– not with all the deep thought
I will throw at Him.
I’m very very deep, you know?
Deeper than that silly “Word of God“.
God – deep? Not so much.
I’m just fine, thank you very much.
I have always hated
the smug attitude of Christians,
singing 🎵 glory to God 🎶
and kneeling and bowing.
Disgusting subservience.
As if an ancient book
could be God’s Word.
Impossible odds of that, eh!
And I’m supposed to
just give God my life?
For why?
Accept all that Jesus was
and all that He did?
Not a chance!
I’ll go to Hell before that!
