PIC: What Does The Gospel Promise Us? By FITL
What are your Christian beliefs like? Do you want to be “unbiblical“, supposedly following what Jesus taught – but not? Want to be…truly into errant beliefs? Have beliefs antithetical to the Bible?
Many do. They agree with what the Bible does not teach. They have become not whatsoever in agreement with Jesus.
How is that? We are meant to find the way of Jesus “inside” the meanings God wrote for us – not imagine what is “outside” in the unsound reasonings of unbiblical teachings.
NAR-types have changed what Jesus started, and turned His Christianity into something different — “a different gospel“, not of God. Do you follow that? Yikes!
Really? Are you into NAR-type beliefs? If we examine the warning by Paul in 1 Timothy 4:1, we can actually see today’s apostate NAR-type charismatics. He warned us – from way back then. It’s kind of eerie how this passage specifically describes the NAR-types of today:
1 Timothy 4:1-2
But the [Holy] Spirit explicitly and unmistakably declares that in later times some will turn away from the faith, paying attention instead to deceitful and seductive spirits and doctrines of demons, 2 [misled] by the hypocrisy of liars whose consciences are seared as with a branding iron [leaving them incapable of ethical functioning]
God Himself, “the [Holy] Spirit”, is the One who “explicitly and unmistakably declares” this observation, not mere men. Do you agree with Him? 1
Many do not even know they are “NAR” types. They are perhaps religious in all of their ways, but …not Christian — by the Bible’s definition. They are not following the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They are not in-line with the teachings of Jesus’ disciples who wrote the New Testament. Not a good place to be.
Adding to Jesus
Look at what they preach and practice every Sunday, or examine your church. “Charismatics” today have added contrary teachings and practices into the beliefs and practices of the Gospel of Jesus. A scary thing to do, that.
Let’s follow the thought of the Holy Spirit here in 1 Timothy 4:1-2 :
a “in later times…
b some will turn…
c away from the faith…
d paying attention instead…
e to deceitful and seductive spirits…
f and doctrines of demons…
g [misled] by…
h the hypocrisy of liars…
i whose consciences are seared as with a branding iron…
j [leaving them incapable of ethical functioning]…”
– 1 Timothy 4:1-2
*Follow the verse phrases… from a-j
These are the NAR-types…Today’s Charismatic movement
a – We are in “later times”, what Jesus called “the end”. And, lo and behold… the NAR-Charismatic movement has prolifereated greatly in these “later times” of today, as predicted. Paul was prophecying the future birth and surge of the NAR. And here they are, millions following NAR practices. Lo and behold!
b – Many have turned (“turn from – turn to“), strayed away from biblical faith to NAR false teachers.
c – NAR-type faith is not the Gospel faith Jesus and His disciples taught. They are “away from the faith”.
d – NAR-types do not pay attention to Bible teachings. “Instead” they listen to false teachers.
e – NAR-types have been inundated by “deceitful and seductive spirits”. Many false prophets and teachers have gone out into the world.
f – NAR-types are “self-proclaimed“, not from God – actually led by doctrines of demons. “Test” them.
“Beloved, do not believe every spirit [speaking through a self-proclaimed prophet]; instead test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets and teachers have gone out into the world.”
– 1 John 4:1
g – NAR-types are misled… As Teachers of the Faith – Unqualified and Worthless verse 2.
h – NAR-types are hypocritical liars verse 2.
i – NAR-types are not normal. They have consciences seared as with a branding iron verse 2.
j – NAR-types have been rendered “incapable of ethical functioning” verse 2.

“We do not
command heaven;
we respond to it”
Calling presumptuously for their “court of Heaven”…spiritual presumption | – Source: 10 baseless practices in the contemporary church | by Joseph Mattera | christianpost.com | Op-ed Contributor |
“For over a decade, the “courts of Heaven” teaching has gained traction in certain charismatic circles. The idea is that one can summon a heavenly court to break generational curses and demonic strongholds.
While there are kernels of truth — God is a righteous Judge — nowhere in Scripture do we see mortals initiating heavenly court sessions.
In Isaiah 6, 1 Kings 22:19–23, and Revelation 5, it is always God who opens the courts, not man. To presume otherwise is to cross a line into spiritual presumption. We do not command heaven; we respond to it.

Following Weird NAR beliefs
It makes absolutely no sense whatsoever to follow NAR-type doctrines. Come on! They in fact take people away from salvation. 2
Think better than the opinions of false prophets and false apostles. They do not jive with the specificities of Jesus teachings. Do you?
We should respond to them with, “No. I am following Jesus” – not the NAR.
Galatians 6:7
Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a person sows, this he will also reap.
NAR beliefs. What a crock. Didn’t fool me. Most certainly does not fool God Almighty. For Heaven’s sake — don’t let them fool you.

Speaking with love about what is true and what is false Excerpt: “Contend for the faith” …speaking the truth in love – Ephesians 4:15. “I was compelled to write to you [urgently] appealing….” As believers, the Spirit will compel us to appeal to others that they follow Jesus. Jude urges us to “contend for the faith”, “fight strenuously for the faith”, defend the faith. That is our obligation and mission as followers. Our faith is not just “whatever“! The faith that we follow must be:
“the faith which

[the faith that is
the sum of Christian belief
that was given verbally to believers].”

Many false prophets and teachers have gone out into the world. Sadly, their teachings are pure junk. We must guard against them. Who wants to be following untruth? I, for one, want to follow Jesus Himself, the real Jesus — not a false antichrist.
“By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error” Excerpt: Test for truth 1 Thessalonians 5:21
There is a simple test John puts forward here in 1 John 4:1-6. We can easily test those who teach the Bible. We must – to know if they are of God or actually a wayward heretic apostate.

Footnotes
- God describes them in this way:
* “they will appear “in later times”. Well, we are in those “later times”. Our times today are the predicted “later times”.
* “some will turn away from the faith”
* “paying attention instead to deceitful and seductive spirits and doctrines of demons”
* “[misled] by the hypocrisy of liars whose consciences are seared as with a branding iron”
* “[leaving them incapable of ethical functioning]”.
This does not save you
* “Following another gospel”.The simple truth is: There is no other saving gospel.
This does not save you
* Religious practices that God has condemned. (2 Peter 1:20-21)A common NAR-type practice is Making God Speak. Are you pretending your words are God’s Words? Are you pretending to have dreams and visions from God, when they are not? God is against you for that.
See: | The Controversy of God Speaking To You Directly |
| This is God speaking (satire) |You cannot make God move (2 Peter 1:20-21). You cannot work up a “word of the Lord”. No matter how intensely you want it, no act of your own will, an “act of human will”, can make God speak (2 Peter 1:20-21).
