Don’t be a dunderhead
You don’t really want to be a Titus 1:9 dunderhead MerWeb: dunce, blockhead. Guaranteed.
You really want to be accepted by God Almighty. Right?

Guaranteed: You have not been accepted by God if you are a type 2 – Titus 1:9… “those who contradict it”
Titus 1:9
“holding firmly the faithful word
which is in accordance with the teaching,
so that he will be able both
to [a]exhort in sound doctrine and
to refute
those who contradict it.”
Titus 1:9 speaks of two types:
Type 1) are the saved: those holding firmly the faithful word which is in accordance with the teaching
Type 2) are the damned: those who contradict it, having generated their own thinking
The one (1) is “saved”, forever. While the other (2) is “damned“, still (but has the opportunity yet to repent and “get saved”).
Peter opened his mouth and said,
“Truly I perceive that
God doesn’t show favoritism;
but in every nation
he who fears (or reveres) him and works righteousness
is acceptable to him.”

Still so dull
Contradicting Jesus is a bad habit. Very bad. A damnable offense to God. John said:
1 John 2:19
They went out from us [seeming at first to be Christians], but they were not really of us [because they were not truly born again and spiritually transformed]; for if they had been of us, they would have remained with us; but they went out [teaching false doctrine], so that it would be clearly shown that none of them are of us.
Jesus said to the religious folk back in His day, the same message He is saying to the NARer folk of these End Times:
“…you are not of God
and
you are not in fellowship with Him.”

Dunderhead or skillful workman?
In 2 Timothy 2:15 the Bible says “Study to show yourself approved by God, a workman who need not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” MEV or, in this version, AMPC “…correctly analyzing and accurately dividing [rightly handling and skillfully teaching] the Word of Truth.”
God’s biggest warnings to us today: We are to teach and encourage others “in sound doctrine” and “refute those who contradict it” Titus 1:9.
Stick to the eyewitness witnesses. They were there. NARers were not. And they seem confused – getting their prophecies wrong.
Cross reference your doctrines
…have you jacked-up MerWeb , messed up, fiddled with, adulterated – The Gospel of Matthew, Mark, Luke, John and Paul? It may surprise you to find the gate to Heaven locked to you.
Fact-check your beliefs with the Bible
“Popular” does not mean “God accepts this”. In fact, the Bible warns us to fact-check our beliefs with the Bible, the ultimate words from God. Jesus does not accept contrived ways to Heaven. Have you sought to verify the factual accuracy of your beliefs about Jesus?
God is extreme to the nth. His Way is One Way. Jesus even told one inquirer, “One thing you lack“. If you “lack” anything not covered by His grace, you lack what it takes to get to Heaven. He is that exacting. Don’t fool yourself.

It’s not too late yet to be the one who fears (or reveres) Him and works righteousness. You then can be acceptable to him Acts 10:34-35. So, go after “sound doctrine”. Make that your doctrine.

Contradicting Jesus Excerpt: It doesn’t matter who you think you are, God is not impressed. He will judge all of us on an equal basis. And when God calls a sin, “sin”, it is.
“Accepting Christ as your Savior” and then, calling what He calls sin “okay” and permissible!? You, on what basis do you declare anything as “okay” when Holy God condemned it? God says that those who walk that way are still in their sins, under condemnation.
So what in the world are people thinking: Calling themselves “Christians” but contradicting Jesus? 1
Who on earth would contradict God? They appear to be deceived, either self-deceived, or blinded by false teachers and an anti-God culture. There is an awful lot of cognitive dissonance going around (intellectual incongruity).
