PIC: The cauldron will begin to boil – the moment all His saints escape.
“He who now restrains will do so until [g]He is removed [h out of the way]. 8 Then that lawless one will be revealed….” NASB Version
– Read Verses 7-8 of 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12 in the AMP Version.
The Holy Spirit resides in the soul of all the born again. That is where He is now – empowering each of us to live for Him. And He said He will never leave us:
“I will never [under any circumstances] desert you [nor give you up nor leave you without support, nor will I in any degree leave you helpless], nor will I forsake or let you down or relax My hold on you [assuredly not]!” – Hebrews 13:5
The “Restrainer” (the Holy Spirit) will leave the planet with all believers when they are snatched up. Then what? If the Spirit, with all His followers are off the planet, what will that look like in real time?
Half-a-day without the Holy Spirit
What happens in the next 12 hours will be …well, like Hell!
It won’t take more than half-a-day without the Holy Spirit before earth becomes a vast boiling cauldron of evil deeds the likes of which have never been seen before. Evil will be magnified hundreds of times. Worse than ever!
Even before the Rapture, during the “the times of birth pangs” – evil will increase dramatically. That is what is happening right now.
Because lawlessness is increased, the love of most people will grow cold. – Matthew 24:12
Imagine what it will be like when the Spirit who “restrains” is removed!
All those left behind
The Evil One will explode his evil within evildoers. There will be not-even-one born again Christian on the planet. All humans left behind will be devoid of the Spirit, lost in their sinfulness, out of luck.
Prayer of Repentance
The only “luck” left for any – will be to drop and pray:
Father God, Jesus and Holy Spirit – save me I pray. I confess that I have been totally on the wrong path, and I need the Savior, Jesus the Messiah.
I repent of all my sin, and ask you to redeem me from Hell. Make me brand new inside – by your Holy Spirit. Save my soul, oh God.
I pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Any words of sincere and truthful confession to Jesus will do. A shorter “save me Jesus” prayer could be something like:
Oh my God Jesus,
I confess that I am a sinner…. I need your grace. I have sinned against you. I acknowledge you as Son of God, and bow my heart to you 100%. Please forgive me of all of my sins. Make me your child. This I pray in Jesus name, Amen.
The famous thief on the cross next to Jesus used even simpler words from his heart. He was “saved” simply by:
(1) Confessing that he himself was a sinner,
(2) Acknowledging that Jesus was dying as God Himself, and
(3) Asking Jesus to “remember me when You come into Your kingdom!”
Here is that example of “getting saved”.
39 One of the criminals who were hanged there was [q]hurling abuse at Him, saying, “Are You not the [r]Christ? Save Yourself and us!”
40 But the other responded, and rebuking him, said, “Do you not even fear God, since you are under the same sentence of condemnation?
41 And we indeed are suffering justly, for we are receiving [s]what we deserve for our crimes; but this man has done nothing wrong.”
42 And he was saying, “Jesus, remember me when You come into Your kingdom!” 43 And He [Jesus] said to him, “Truly I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.”
“You must be born again”, Jesus said (verse 7 of John 3:1-16).
“I assure you and most solemnly say to you, unless a person is born again [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, sanctified], he cannot [ever] see and experience the kingdom of God.” – Verse 7 of John 3:1-16
It is not a religious thing. It is a simple “confess and repent – and follow Him” miracle. See: Luke 9:23. At that instant – the Courts of Heaven declare you “saved”. In the blink of eye you are… “spiritually transformed, renewed, sanctified“.
Taken out of the way
Evil is being held-back, presently. But Jesus said that will end, and evil will explode — when the Holy Spirit is “taken out of the way“.
“the coming reign of lawlessness] is already at work; [but it is restrained] only until he who now restrains it is taken out of the way.” – 2 Thessalonians 2:7-8
Satan has been at work for centuries, preparing for the End Time horrors. All along the way, God the Holy Spirit has restrained Satan’s hand. But now we are almost there. We are so very near the hour when a new era will begin.
We are told to to remain alert and not fear: Revelation 3:10-11; 1 Thessalonians 1:10; Luke 21:36; Isaiah 41:13; Matthew 24:6.
“I will keep you [safe] from the hour of trial“
10 Because you have kept the word of My endurance [My command to persevere], I will keep you [safe] from the hour of trial, that hour which is about to come on the whole [inhabited] world, to test those who live on the earth. 11 I am coming quickly. Hold tight what you have, so that no one will take your crown [by leading you to renounce the faith].” – Revelation 3:10-11
The Rapture
The Rapture of the Saints is the event that will take the Spirit “out of the way”. When that day arrives and “he who now restrains it is taken out of the way…” – earth life will become horrific. We will be with the Lord, but earthlings left behind will be in a cauldron. Be ready for Jesus!

Until the Rapture Door is shut
It really behooves all of us to be ready for Jesus’ Return. When He does return for us, the door will snap shut behind Him, and evil will run rampant to do it’s havoc on earth.
You want to be with Jesus and the Saints in the air — not here on earth when this all goes down.
I know my Redeemer lives,
and that in the end
He will stand on the Earth.
