Caught-up with a practice God has said not to practice?
We find this in Joshua 24:15 – “Choose for yourselves today whom you will serve.” Are you choosing your practices by what God has told us in the Bible?
What following Christ is NOT
To say “I’m following Christ” – that’s easy to say. But, in the vernacular, “You is or you ain’t!” What is your practice? The Bible explains what is “following Christ”… and what is NOT.

Obvious to all except the racist, is the truth that racism is evil. Too many are willing to tolerate evil these days. Racism is chock full of it….
I’ve got that joy
I’ve got that joy. Do “you greatly rejoice”, and “delight with inexpressible and glorious joy”? You can. But “you must be born again” (Jesus said).
Exposing a dichotomous heart
You do not have to get sinless to get saved, but God does require a fully committed heart. A dichotomous heart is a divided heart – not sold-out to Jesus. A “this-way-that-way-two-sided-heart” cannot be saved. What kind of commitment do you have to Jesus?
Yielding your will to God
Are you truly yielded to God 100%? (Not sinless – but yielded.) Truly born again? Or are you just lookin’ like it? That will never work with God. He knows your thoughts.

Practicing Sin, Not Following Christ
Are you practicing sin? Is there sin you constantly practice? Have you grown accustomed to accepting [“your” sin] as okay with God? Are you okay with the practices of your life? Scripture teaches us very clearly what is obviously …NOT following Christ. In fact, we are warned that “that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.” You are not following Christ if this is characteristic of you: Galatians 5:16-21.
