We find this in Joshua 24:15 – “Choose for yourselves today whom you will serve.” Are you choosing your practices by what God has told us in the Bible?
Jesus is stronger
Jesus is stronger and He wins in the end. And because I am in Christ I am stronger than all the enemies of my soul, and I win in the end. Jesus saved me, brought me up and out of the miry clay. And He will bring me into His Kingdom called Heaven when I die. Hallelujah!
Hating is life changing – eternal life changing. Scary thought.
It’s a scary thing to habitually hate. In 1 John 3:14 we read, “He who does not love remains in [spiritual] death.” Also 1 John 4:20 says we can’t love God if we hate our brother. Do you think you can enter Heaven — if you don’t love God?
It’s comin’ round the corner!
We can absolutely be ready for what’s comin’ round the corner, you know? Jesus came down to earth to tell us how to be ready. He died so we could get ready. The greatest peaceful easy feeling comes when you receive the Kingdom like a child.
