Since it is God that is offering us His salvation, why not listen to Him – instead of making up your own plan of eternal life?
That moment of death
There is a place
where turning back’s a choice no longer
Hell is waiting but Jesus calls
What will it be for you?
Say you Heaven or say you Hell
Promises God makes about your salvation
God made some huge promises. Absolutely beyond huge. Eternally huge promises. Salvation is His biggest. Do you have that one secured?
The world of illusion of some churchgoers
“If we refuse to admit that we are sinners, then we live in a world of illusion and truth becomes a stranger to us. – 1 John 1:9-10 Wrongdoing If we are actually honest about it, we each must admit that we struggle with our own wrongdoing. If we’re honest. It is that “wrongdoing” that […]
Farther along we’ll understand why
There is so much that I just do not understand. Why this, why that…? I refuse to refuse Jesus Well, rather than blame God, rant and rage, or refuse to fall-in-line with certain difficult teachings of Jesus… I have chosen to trust that God understands more than I. I refuse to refuse Jesus. Are you […]
So, God sent His Son into the world. Do you know why?
In the justice system of God’s Throne, humankind has been condemned eternally because we all fall short of His perfection. How could God allow sin into His Holy Kingdom? Because of that, in order for God to forgive any person, a provision had to be made for His justice to legally redeem any fallen person.
The ABCs of Salvation
Are you ready to meet your Maker? Here are three steps to salvation in Jesus.
1 John 1:9
1 John 1:9 Amplified Bible (AMP) 9 If we [freely] admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and just [true to His own nature and promises], and will forgive our sins and cleanse us continually from all unrighteousness [our wrongdoing, everything not in conformity with His will and purpose].
1 John 4:1-3
1 John 4:1-3 Beloved, do not believe every spirit [speaking through a self-proclaimed prophet]; instead test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets and teachers have gone out into the world. 2 By this you know and recognize the Spirit of God: every spirit that acknowledges and confesses [the fact] […]
Admitting I was wrong
Ever feel like a working moron! Sometimes I am a moron! I do exactly NOT what I wanted to do, just as the Apostle Paul admitted in Romans 7: verse 15. How foolish is that!? Jesus does not condemn me when I sin! God does not approve my sin. He wants me to be pure and righteous, all together. But my God is a 1 Corinthians 13 type of God (verses :4-8a)!
Are You Ready, Steady and Able?
In our walk as believers, the biblical norm we aspire towards as Christians is an extremely high standard. In fact, it is an impossible norm – unless we are consistently filled with the Holy Spirit. Are you? The only way we can be who we truly are in Christ – is to be filled by His Spirit.
Keeping Sin
The little verse of Psalm 66:18 teaches us a whole lot about God – and prayer. Just in this tiny verse we see: “If I regard wickedness in my heart, The Lord will not hear.” I am born again, and God has forgiven me of all my sins. However, on any given day or moment, if I come to Him in prayer AND am holding a sin, so to speak, or allowing a sin to have a place in my life — then, the Bible tells me: God will not give heed to what I say.
Distracting Meaningless Things
Turn my eyes away from vanity [all those worldly, meaningless things that distract —let Your priorities be mine], And restore me [with renewed energy] in Your ways. – Psalm 119:37
Romans 10:8-13
“The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart”—that is, the word of faith which we are preaching, 9 [e]that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; 10 for with the heart a person believes, [f]resulting […]
The Christ, Jesus
God came down to earth, was born of a woman, became a man, “God in the flesh”: the Godman. His name was Jesus. He was the Messiah predicted in the Old Testament. Do you know Him?
Does saying a “sinners prayer” save one from going to hell?
