What is it, this New Covenant in the New Testament? Where do we find it explained? Do you understand it’s impact?
Holding to beliefs “deserving full acceptance and approval”
Are all your beliefs based on a solid Christian biblical base – the Bible? Or, what?
Denying Jesus?
You don’t have to be an unrepentant monster like Hitler to deny Jesus. Just neglect to follow Jesus – leave Jesus’ ways a ways away. Maybe fake it, be one of the enlightened folks who say one thing but act another. Or, choose to sincerely follow Jesus.
Keeping a good conscience
We can learn a lot from the Bible about our “conscience”. We all start life with one. How’s yours doing?
He’s got this
Whatever it is that you’ve got troubling you, “He’s got this!” When I find myself in times of trouble, I turn to Jesus.
Prophecies in the Bible: A Perfect Track Record
The Bible has a “perfect prophetic track record”. Of course you will need to read the record to see for yourself! I challenge you. God planned the details of today’s events, all the way through, and that is exactly how it all is playing-out in today’s End Times.God is with us, so we need not fear what is coming.
Forget about it
What do you do with the sins of your past? Paul says, I am continually, consciousely, purposely forgetting all those things of my past, what is behind me. I leave them back there, behind me. And now — I press on.
Living the good life – with courage and confident hope
What a terrific way to live life – being “of good courage and confident hope”. Living with good courage and being confident with hope – comes as a result of living God’s way, staying within what God intended, living “God’s Normal”. Let’s look at this as the Apostle Paul laid it out.
Jesus watches over you very carefully
“When winds are raging o’er the upper ocean,
And billows wild contend with angry roar,
‘Tis said, far down beneath the wild commotion,
That peaceful stillness reigneth evermore.”
We are pressured in every way, but not crushed
The Apostle Paul wrote that the normal Christian life is full of uncomfortableness. Every day modernity seeks evasive Garden of Eden lifestyles of bliss. Heaven will be that good! But here — not so much. Sin has destroyed that for us, for now. We should not be surprised by pain and sorrows. As believers we […]
Feeling insignificant?
It’s all so senseless looking, worthless, waste – and yet there is one ray of light, a hope for now, today, tomorrow
When we face difficult times in our life
God is my hope, my encouragement, my confidence. When we face difficult times in our life, the follower of Christ finds hope and encouragement in the words of God to us – the Bible. God Himself is our hope, our encouragement, our confidence. “We overflow with confidence in His promises.” Romans 15:4-6 4 For whatever was […]
Death was just a doorway
How will you behold the face of God? Will it be with confidence in righteousness, or in terror because of sin?
At your wit’s end
“On God my salvation and my glory rest; He is my rock of [unyielding] strength, my refuge is in God.” – Psalm 62:7 Amplified Bible (AMP) At your wit’s end these days, with all that life is throwing at you now? Are you at the end of your wit? Well, that’s not hard to do. […]
Fight the good fight
What does it mean to “fight the good fight”? What fight are we in, as believers? Of course, if we are not truly following Christ, then it doesn’t change things one way or the other – whether we fight the good fight or not. But, for those who follow Christ sincerely, it is incumbent upon us to fight, as 1 Timothy 1:18-19 shows us.
Get a grip!
“…do this well, fearless in your struggle, keeping a firm grip on your faith and on yourself. After all, this is a fight we’re in.” – 1 Timothy 1:verse 18 The Message (MSG) Life is a fierce battle to the death, a struggle to win against all the forces against us. Keep yourself strong in […]
Hebrews 13:5-6
Hebrews 13:5-6 Amplified Bible (AMP) 5 Let your character [your moral essence, your inner nature] be free from the love of money [shun greed—be financially ethical], being content with what you have; for He has said, “I will never [under any circumstances] desert you [nor give you up nor leave you without support, nor will I […]
I live with confidence
Although I am not perfect, I have, growing in me…“love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control”. That grows confidence!
The well-guarded soul
The well-guarded soul will keep you following Jesus. What can you do to guard your soul?
Philippians 3
The Goal of Life Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things again is no trouble to me, and it is a safeguard for you. 2 Beware of the dogs, beware of the evil workers, beware of the [a]false circumcision; 3 for we are the true [b]circumcision, who worship in the Spirit of […]
Hebrews 10:19-25
As believers, we can boldly go where few were able to go before. We can boldly enter into God’s very presence through prayer! This is part of the New Covenant: “a new and living way” we can now relate to God because of Jesus death and resurrection. See: Hebrews 10:19-25
