There are many reasons Jesus died for you. Here are just a few.
Why we never lose our salvation in Christ
IF God saves us, can He unsave us? Can anything unsave us? How powerful is this forgiving God? What kind of salvation does He provide for us?
The Inclusive Yet Exclusive Salvation of Jesus
Did you know that God limited His grace towards us, His fallen creation? Salvation, in that sense, is not free. It will cost you – all of you. The salvation of Jesus is both inclusive and exclusive. Find out how that works.
Blessed by forgiveness by The Hand of God our Savior
Forgiveness by God Himself, is different than some human granting you forgiveness (even that of a priest). God’s forgiveness is official in Heaven’s Courts, and so, it lasts forever.
How Jesus loved us
Have you ever tried to think like God Almighty thinks? We are called by Jesus to be forever on a higher level. To be THERE, we must be born again, Jesus said. He loved us to such an extreme that He died to get us there.
Claiming a sin as – God’s will for you
Nowadays we have way too many professing “Christians” who are confusing compassion and love for others with God’s marvelous grace. Many are now exchanging His grace for inclusivity. They claim that God will accept certain sinners – in their sin – because they are exceptionally loving and kind. Is that biblical? Will God accept you because you are exceptionally loving?
Doing one act of love at a time
Every breathing moment is a new moment to choose to be loving to others – or not. I do not have to be what I was in the past. I don’t have to be what I was this morning! I can choose to confess and repent — and be loving now. I’m developing habits of love!
How to treat people
I must admit – I battle piccadilly attitudes and unguarded moments, most every day. Get that yourself? I tend to think of “love” as my choice. But Christian agape love is a constant – with all peoples. I must guard my soul from fickle piccadillies (where I bend and accept tiny “small sins”).
God forgives sins by His Holy Holy Justice
What do you know about God, the most holy in the universe? Our Holy Holy Holy God was (and is) so opposed to anything not holy – that He volunteered to die in order to be able to save us all – you and me. THAT is truly the biggest Wonder of the Universe. God came to earth as a man, Jesus! His holy system of justice demanded holy justice. So He Himself went to the cross.
1 John 1:9
1 John 1:9 Amplified Bible (AMP) 9 If we [freely] admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and just [true to His own nature and promises], and will forgive our sins and cleanse us continually from all unrighteousness [our wrongdoing, everything not in conformity with His will and purpose].
Isaiah 55:6-7. Turn to the LORD
Turn to the LORD and pray to Him, now that He is near. Let the wicked leave their way of life and change their way of thinking. Let them turn to the LORD, our God; He is merciful and quick to forgive. – Isaiah 55:6-7 Good News Translation (GNT)
Our Father, who is in heaven
…Jesus’ model for prayer. Photo: Nabeel Qureshi 9 “Pray, then, [a]in this way: ‘Our Father, who is in heaven, [b]Hallowed be Your name. 10 ‘[c]Your kingdom come, Your [d]will be done On earth as it is in heaven. 11 ‘Give us this day our [e]daily bread. 12 ‘And forgive us our [f]debts, as we have forgiven […]
Pray like Jesus prayed
Jesus teaches us how to pray. He gave us a blueprint for how to build our prayers. Jesus showed us in one prayer — what an effective prayer will often have in it.
Should you forgive even though no confession is made?
Some say yes, that you should forgive those who do not ask forgiveness. Others say no, that the person should not be forgiven until they repent and then you can forgive them. Those that say you should forgive an unrepentant person use verses like Colossians 3:13 that say, “Bear with each other and forgive whatever […]
