Jesus said, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” In God’s legal system, all of mankind is condemned to hell because we are naturally unable to be holy [“holy” = without sin]. He cannot have sin in His Kingdom. Makes sense: He is holy! His choice – because of His nature. However, He loved us so much that He provided legal forgiveness for any who choose to follow Him. Quite simple, actually.
Titus on: What the Word of God Teaches
Jesus came down to earth. That was when it could then be said: “the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men.”
Jesus Only Always For All Times
The theme running through the whole Bible is that Jesus, the perfect Lamb of God, loved us so much that He offered His life as a perfect sacrifice – for us. Jesus Christ is the only reason any of us, throughout all of history (past, present, or future), are able to be saved.
Oh what a day that will be!
Wow! To enter into the Kingdom of God – freely as His redeemed child. No cringing in shame, no shaking knees, sweating in fear, no burden of sinfulness before a Holy God. I can only imagine.
Jesus Paid It All
Before time, God was, and He was all there was. Then God created Man. God´s nature is perfect, inviolate, greater than any other. He was (and is) Justice, and His system was (and is) unchangeable. Then Man sinned.
