My needy, needy soul needs to stay close to Creator God who formed me. We all do, wouldn’t you agree? God our Maker is still very involved in His creation, still. He desires to be intimately involved.
Yes I can – I can stand strong
I can stand strong. Yes. “God is my refuge and strength, an ever present help in times of trouble.” – Psalm 46:1
Making God a Liar
While on earth Jesus taught about Himself, His impending death on a cross, and His plan of salvation. Jesus claimed to be God. And we have “three witnesses: the voice of the Holy Spirit in our hearts, the voice from heaven at Christ’s baptism, and the voice before he died. And they all say the same thing: Jesus Christ is the Son of God.” (1 John 5: verse 8) God is saying all of this to each of us, so clearly. If we do not believe this, we are effectively calling God a liar.
God Is My Refuge and Strength
In the midst of it all, I remind myself that I am born again. I am following Him. Each day I will acknowledge His presence in my life. I will daily live in the knowledge of what God has changed me into. The Lord has promised good to me.
