This is not an article to denigrate “Charismatics”. This is a resource for Charismatics to learn exactly what the Bible says about charismatic practices. We are to (2 Timothy 2:15) study the Bible so we can be “accurately handling and skillfully teaching the word of truth.”
What we know about the Rapture
The Bible teaches us about the Rapture, very clearly. Jesus will return to “bring salvation to those who are eagerly and confidently waiting for Him.” (Hebrews 9:28)
How then should we live now… believing the Rapture is just around the corner?
The Rapture is coming! In my heart I am leaping with joy! So now what? How should we go about with living our daily life — now that we believe the Rapture is just around the corner?

Preterism is a false claim by self-inspired teachers, a total falsehood (as warned about in Ezekiel 13:1-9). Preterists teach that Christ already came in 7oAD, that we need not be looking for a Rapture now, nor a Second Coming. What preterists teach — is misleading, but an easily denounced interpretation. What will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?
Be ready! We are told how to understand the mystery of “the sign of Your coming”, and “the end of the age”. Jesus and Paul solve the mystery for us. Let’s examine (1) the words of Jesus in Matthew 24, and then (2) the Apostle Paul’s words in 2 Thessalonians 2. The mystery is not all that complicated now that we are seeing all these signs given to us by God in these end days.
