Years ago when I first became a believer in Jesus, I remember my mama, a Residential School survivor, screaming at me, calling me a traitor, and asking me why I chose a religion that hurt my people. The fact is, I didn’t choose a religion . . . I chose a way of life that healed my spirit. The religion I can do without, but I can’t do without Jesus.
Be cautious and active in faith
The Rapture promises to be a very, very, extremely extra-special huge event. Do you want to be in on that amazing ride of a lifetime?
Jesus Himself tells us how this is going down.
Stand tall and lift up your heads in joy, Jesus said
Living in these end times we must “stand tall and lift up your heads [in joy], because…” we will escape God’s promised wrath. Fear not. Trust Him.
The Bible is the standard for Christian thought and practice. Not me. Not you.
I am so saddened by the willy-nilly application of Bible truths nowadays. People make it say whatever they want to – so it will thereby backup their own wishful thinking. The Bible is the standard for Christian thought, seeing as how we believe God inspired Godly men to write as He guided them.
What is necessary to be saved
Folks! You can NOT fake it with God. He knows your heart. Faking = Still lost. You can talk like/smell like/pray like/look like/act like/dress like/preach like/give money like/claim church membership like/go to church like… but if your heart is not genuinely His, “with all your heart…”, then you are not saved. You are a God damned “believer”. ‘You must be born again.’
Will you be “accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass?”
What’s up with you? Will you be “accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass?” Still taking a chance on missing that grand Rapture ride? Why on earth do that!? It will be the most exciting adventure in all of mankind’s history!

The non-stop work of God inside you and me
Did you know that God is at work? He is working non-stop inside you and me and all us puny mud men humans that He keeps creating.
Living through our tunnel of sorrows
Be it – bearing the effects of our sin, or experiencing personal tragedy, or being racked by the numbing sorrow of death in the family – we can overcome.
Who you going to call?
In times of trouble, of worry and doubt — “Who you going to call?” I call on the name of the Lord Jehovah
My Sparkling Clean Soul
A “soul” is invisible, of course, so nobody can actually “see” one. But the Bible tells me we all have one. My soul is inside my insides, deep within my being. That is where I run my life, sort of my command center. And I “see” my soul sparkly clean when I confess my sins and Jesus washes me thoroughly.
What Jesus wants to see in me
We will be transformed in Heaven – here are a few of those qualities that we can definitely be working on inside ourselves — in the meantime as we await His Return. In the now and now, I want to be more and more — like what Jesus wants to see in me.
Explaining the Basic Christian Experience [Part Two]
We are given new life in Christ when we accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Oh the wonder of passing from being “God-damned” to being “marvelously saved by Jesus”. We then begin growing into our natural new life in Christ. Oh how marvelous this journey! Ephesians chapter 1 lists “the natural order of things” in our spiritual dimension.
He will go before me
What path are you on? (1) “…walk in the counsel of the wicked [following their advice and example]” or (2) “And he will be like a tree firmly planted [and fed] by streams of water,
Which yields its fruit in its season; Its leaf does not wither; And in whatever he does, he prospers [and comes to maturity].”
Every believer’s new life in Christ [Part One]
Because God is extreme to the nth degree – God requires an extreme type of relationship from us. Once we get born again, we will continue growing deeply, naturally, into further maturity in Christ. The wonder of passing from being “God-damned” to being “marvelously saved by Jesus”. Oh how marvelous this journey!
Growing into our natural new life in Christ
Growing is what should be happening after we are “born again”, Paul says. The natural response to Christ is to grab hold of the good soil – and flourish. Ephesians 1 is about flourishing, germinating naturally, sprouting strong and stable.
You are all wrong, Jesus said
Are you tipping the scales to get what you want? Maybe using the wrong scales? “You are all wrong
because you know neither the Scriptures [which teach the resurrection] nor the power of God [for He is able to raise the dead].”
I stomped the mud puddle
It was not so nasty a word.
What a privilege God gives us
It cost God to make us His children of privilege. Jesus made this privilege possible for all who come to Him – not just to some, but to all peoples. Some do reject Him (Hebrews 4:6). Their choice. It is a choice, to receive Him or not. Have you accepted salvation in Christ?
Make Self Talk… God Talk. It goes on and on and on
Speaking to God silently inside your mind: God-Talk… is praying to God without voicing it out loud. “Self Talk” and “God Talk”- He sees into your thoughts, your feelings, your intentions, your falseness or genuineness, your honesty or lies, what you really are inside of your mind and heart.”
What decides and settles your burning questions?
Everything around us is changing so fast these days. How on earth are we to make good, wise, decisions nowadays? Colossians 3:15 says: “Let the peace of Christ [the inner calm of one who walks daily with Him] be the controlling factor in your hearts….”
About Time
What happens after “the first things have passed away”, after the time of the end of the age? I am eagerly waiting for what is said in Revelations 21:4 when…”the first things have passed away.”
Living between two opinions
Do you equivocate, living between two opinions? Isn’t it time to choose this day who you will serve, 100%?
Things of God
…setting my mind on things of God Colossians 3:2 Set your mind and keep focused habitually on the things above [the heavenly things], not on things that are on the earth [which have only temporal value]. Matthew 16:23 But Jesus turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to […]
What is proper among saints
What is “the right thing to do” – for a Christian? Ephesians 5:1-3 tells us: “become imitators of God”
We must seek after God
Peace within our own boundaries is not guaranteed. It is so important in these days that we all draw near to God, and pray. We must seek after God, while He yet can be found.
The Triumph of Evil
Evil has been beating good frequently ever since the Creation of our tiny earth world. Evil has been beating good frequently ever since the Creation of our tiny earth world. In the midst of all the End Time events coming down the tube – we, as followers of Jesus need inexhaustible patience. We need to be “ready, steady and able”. Keep yourself firm in the faith. And share the Gospel.
At death – we put on immortality
In God’s Home Heaven, we who followed Jesus on earth — will all be truly INVINCIBLE, living in incorruptible, immortal bodies – like Jesus had when He was resurrected. v50 “Now I say this, brothers and sisters, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God….”
Jesus watches over you very carefully
“When winds are raging o’er the upper ocean,
And billows wild contend with angry roar,
‘Tis said, far down beneath the wild commotion,
That peaceful stillness reigneth evermore.”
How to Live On Christ – by Harriet Beecher Stowe
Many Christians are satisfied if they are doing something —others wish to feel sure that they are doing much; but few admit the obligation, or make serious efforts, to do all they can.
