The seven promised blessings of the Revelation.
“These are the true and exact words of God.” – 19:9
Blessed (happy, prosperous, to be admired) is he who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and who keep the things which are written in it [heeding them and taking them to heart]; for the time [of fulfillment] is near.
Then I heard [the distinct words of] a voice from heaven, saying, “Write, ‘[a]Blessed (happy, prosperous, to be admired) are the dead who die in the Lord from now on!’” “Yes, [blessed indeed],” says the Spirit, “so that they may rest and have relief from their labors, for their deeds do follow them.”
(“Behold, I am coming like a thief. [a]Blessed is he who [b]stays awake and who keeps his clothes [that is, stays spiritually ready for the Lord’s return], so that he will not be naked—spiritually unprepared—and men will not see his shame.”)
BibleGateway Footnote: 16:15 These are metaphorical statements referring to a believer who is always expecting the return of Christ, and maintains a lifestyle (the clothing) of which he will not be ashamed when that day comes.
Then the angel said to me, “Write, ‘[a]Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the [b]Lamb.’” And he said to me [further], “These are the true and exact words of God.”
Blessed (happy, prosperous, to be admired) and holy is the person who takes part in the first resurrection; over these the second death [which is eternal separation from God, the lake of fire] has no power or authority, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and they will reign with Him a thousand years.
“And behold, I am coming quickly. [a]Blessed (happy, prosperous, to be admired) is the one who heeds and takes to heart and remembers the words of the prophecy [that is, the predictions, consolations, and warnings] contained in this book (scroll).”
Blessed (happy, prosperous, to be admired) are those who wash their robes [in the blood of Christ by believing and trusting in Him—the righteous who do His commandments], so that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter by the gates into the city.
Are you one of the “blessed” of these Revelation promises? Have your sins been forgiven? Are you filthy or beautified?

- he who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and
- who keep the things which are written in it [heeding them and taking them to heart];

Why they are blessed:
- that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter by the gates into the city.
- over these the second death [which is eternal separation from God, the lake of fire] has no power or authority.
- they will be priests of God and of Christ and they will reign with Him a thousand years.

- “so that they may rest and have relief from their labors, for their deeds do follow them.”

Declared forgiven in His Courts
The very clear message of Christ is that sinners can be changed when they repent in sincerity and truth, choosing to become God’s true followers. You can have all your sinful past forgiven by God, and be totally accepted into His Forever Family immediately, both here on earth now – and in heaven where we are declared forgiven in His Courts.
When you turn from your sinfulness
(true “repentance“),
and turn to Christ for His forgiveness
(“accept Christ” and His ways),
He then recreates you in that instant
– and you become “born again“.
