Condemned or Not Condemned… free or – a slave to sin
John (3:18-21) discusses the topic of being God damned: Being freed or not being freed – from God’s condemnation.
Do you know you are free? Or are you still under the righteous damnation of God? There has always been an urgency to accept Jesus before dying, but now in these End Times, the urgency is more intense because “the end“, as Jesus called it – is just around the corner.
We are born into condemnation, and nothing takes that off us — except our “accept”, our accepting of Jesus’ salvation. Nobody nowhere no way no how… can free you from the righteous “God Damn” except for Jesus. He’s The Man, the Godman.
“For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His [One and] [a]only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life. – John 3:16
Have you been freed?
We were all God damned because God is holy and cannot accept sin into His Kingdom. No flesh and blood human can enter Heaven. Not even one. Jesus said, “You must be born again.” If you stay as you are, “a natural born sinner”, you are damned forever.
3 Jesus answered him, “I assure you and most solemnly say to you, unless a person is born again [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, sanctified], he cannot [ever] see and experience the kingdom of God.”
– Verse 3 of John 3
Dissecting John 3:18-21 (4 verses)
John 3 18a Whoever believes and has decided to trust in Him [as personal Savior and Lord] is not judged [for this one, there is no judgment, no rejection, no condemnation];
If you decide to follow Jesus
If you decide to believe in His Name (“as personal Savior and Lord“) and you want to “trust in Him”… then – simply come to God in prayer, confessing your sinfulness and accept Him. It’s that simple. You leave it all at the foot of His cross where He died to save you.
When you do that — you are forever not condemned (“for this one, there is no judgment, no rejection, no condemnation” -v18). The old has been made brand new. You are at that moment spiritually changed into a brand new creation of God. You are made a verifiable “child of God“. (Mere flesh and blood humans are merely creatures of God, under condemnation, not His children.)
John 3 18b “but the one who does not believe [and has decided to reject Him as personal Savior and Lord] is judged already [that one has been convicted and sentenced], because [a]he has not believed and trusted in the name of the [One and] only begotten Son of God [the One who is truly unique, the only One of His kind, the One who alone can save him].”
If you decide to reject Jesus
If you reject Jesus, or just do nothing about Him, then you will be judged “guilty” at the Judgement Seat of God in His Heaven. You are “judged already [that one has been convicted and sentenced]” (v18).
Jesus is “the One who is truly unique, the only One of His kind, the One who alone can save“. Examine the evidences. Jesus is real, and He alone can save you for all eternity. He said, “I give them eternal life“. Is anybody else saying that to you?
John 3 19 This is the judgment [that is, the cause for indictment, the test by which people are judged, the basis for the sentence]: the Light has come into the world, and people loved the [b]darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil. 20 For every wrongdoer hates the Light, and does not come to the Light [but shrinks from it] for fear that his [sinful, worthless] activities will be exposed and condemned.
Fear of being “exposed and condemned”
Evil is getting more and more brazen, with robbery in broad daylight nowadays. But usually evil is done in the dark. Why?
20 “For every wrongdoer hates the Light,
and does not come to the Light
[but shrinks from it]
for fear
that his [sinful, worthless] activities
will be exposed and condemned.”
“the Light has come into the world”(v19)
Baby Jesus clearly, historically, was born in Bethlehem – come down to earth from Heaven as the Godman Jesus. Will you reject that, or believe in Him?
John 3 21 But whoever practices truth [and does what is right—morally, ethically, spiritually] comes to the Light, so that his works may be plainly shown to be what they are—accomplished in God [divinely prompted, done with God’s help, in dependence on Him].”
“accomplished in God”
Truly following Christ, being one who “practices truth”, is impossible unless you are born again and filled by His Spirit. That
They say “The proof is in the pudding.” If you “say one thing – but do another”, then “your works are dead” and your faith is totally a loser faith. This kind of “faith in Jesus” will land you the opposite side of Heaven. Read more here: James 2:14-26. How’s your pudding?
Sure as Hell, you really really truly want a proven faith in Jesus.
Nobody nowhere
no way no how…
can free you from
the righteous “God Damn”
except for Jesus.

1 Corinthians 1:17-25 Living Bible
“…the simple message of the cross of Christ.
18 I know very well how foolish it sounds to those who are lost,[b] when they hear that Jesus died to save them. But we who are saved* recognize this message as the very power of God. 19 For God says, “I will destroy all human plans of salvation no matter how wise they seem to be, and ignore the best ideas of men, even the most brilliant of them.”
20 So what about these wise men, these scholars, these brilliant debaters of this world’s great affairs? God has made them all look foolish and shown their wisdom to be useless nonsense. 21 For God in his wisdom saw to it that the world would never find God through human brilliance, and then he stepped in and saved all those who believed his message, which the world calls foolish and silly. 22 It seems foolish to the Jews because they want a sign from heaven as proof that what is preached is true; and it is foolish to the Gentiles because they believe only what agrees with their philosophy and seems wise to them. 23 So when we preach about Christ dying to save them, the Jews are offended and the Gentiles say it’s all nonsense. 24 But God has opened the eyes of those called to salvation, both Jews and Gentiles, to see that Christ is the mighty power of God to save them; Christ himself is the center of God’s wise plan for their salvation. 25 This so-called “foolish” plan of God is far wiser than the wisest plan of the wisest man, and God in his weakness—Christ dying on the cross—is far stronger than any man.
