The Final Judgements
God is the Supreme Judge. There is no one else like Him. He alone is God Almighty. And: It is He alone who will preside at the final judgements of us all.
The two final judgements:
1 Unbelievers – condemned to eternal condemnation for their rejection of Christ. How much is Heaven worth to you?
2 Born again believers – arrive forgiven AND here are rewarded (judged) for what they did with their lives, whether good or bad. Jesus rewards the good life.
Condemned or Forgiven…what’s it gonna be for you?
Quite the contrast — those condemned and those forgiven. How will you stand before God?
A person can damn you, but, what’s that going to do? Not much. (Matthew 10:28) However, on That Day of Judgement, a God damn is forever bad, forever unforgiving, never changeable – permanent in the universe.

Matthew 16:26 (Also in Mark 8:37)
“For what will it profit a man
if he gains
the whole world
and forfeits his soul?
Or what will a man give
in exchange for his soul?”
We are fortunate that God is patient with us. Oh how marvelous His grace! We learn in 2 Peter 3:7-9 that He is “extraordinarily patient”.
Verse 9 The Lord does not delay [as though He were unable to act] and is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is [extraordinarily] patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.
– 2 Peter 3:7-9

The Forgiving God
Marvelous grace. To a sinner, what else could be so marvelous? God’s grace, that “un-merited” bestowing of a blessing on me. Just because of Him. Just because He chooses to do so within His Heavenly legal system.
What marvelous grace of the damning God, who would go so far out of His way to “un-condemn” me, to “un-do” His “God damn”, His damnation of me, to save me forever for Himself. To love me – at all. That is the grace of God.

Jesus is delaying His Rapture return till …the last lost soul is saved (2 Peter 3:7-9). When it happens, we will be escorted to a terrific party! (Revelation 19:9)

You’ve heard of “sinners in the hands of an angry God”, right? Imagine that: An Angry Judge in front of you on that day. 1
God’s Plans
But, God is not just going to be angry with unrepentant sinners in the future. More important to us, right now in the present — is that He is a compassionate, forgiving God.
He wants to save you! (2 Peter 3:9) God is asking you to repent – now, before Jesus returns.
1 in the future – God has promised eternal damnation to unrepentant sinners
2 right now in the present – we all have this, what I rather prefer: The one-off offer Jesus makes to everyone
____________
God created you, He created me, and everyone else – because He wanted us to love Him, and follow Him in obedience and truth. He created us out of the deep, deep depths of His love. (Read John 3:16 and: Romans 5:8; Ephesians 2:4; 2 Thessalonians 2:16; 1 John 4:10; Revelation 1:5.)

“For God so loved the world,
that He gave His only begotten Son,
that whoever believes in Him
shall not perish,
but have eternal life.”
– John 3:16
Any who accept Jesus as the Messiah, as Lord of all – are His people: Children of God. When a person is born again – he-she becomes a child of the King. All born again believers are His people now — grafted-in!

How far are you from God’s Kingdom?
One minute away from the Kingdom of God
Are you trying His patience with the way you live in contradiction to His written will? Got an unrepentant heart?
Careful with that. Eventually He may lose patience and give-you-up to your unbridled ways. Examine the signs. Are you NOT following Christ “by an ongoing experience” in your day-to-day living?
No matter how vile you’ve been in the past, Jesus can save your soul today for all eternity. Without exception – God can save any repentant sinner. Key word? Repentant. Do you know the signs of an unrepentant heart?
The ecstatic celebration
Maybe you love a good party? No party, nothing you’ve ever attended — can match the ecstatic celebration God puts on for those who chose to follow Him while on earth. And it will be done in godly fashion. Imagine that.
