It absolutely amazes me when a person knows “all about Jesus”… and yet still arrives at ‘It doesn’t make sense’. There are many of these unbelievers. This person in unbelief: denies Him, rejects Him, and stubbornly sticks to their unbeliefism so deeply.
Slowly it becomes less and less possible to extract themselves from the fox hole they dug into. And… all that time the Holy Spirit was warning them. The evidences were all around them, and knowable. Sad thing.
Here is a case shared on ChristianPost of Rhett McLaughlin and Link Neal (pictured above; an image from their podcast). Now, 5 years after deconstructing their faith in Christ… they still are okay with it. Link Neal said, “I’m in a good place….” They are blissfully oblivious to God’s realities, still: not at all ready for a hot God damn. They will regret their stance.
I read it and almost weep. So sad. (Jesus wept – in John 11:30-37. But, I’m not that spiritual yet.)
After how many years posing as Christians, then add 5 more years after denouncing Jesus, and this is their pearl of great wisdom:
“I kind of hope there’s something beyond what I can experience with my physical senses,” he said.
“The thing that makes the most sense to me is that the whole universe is God, and God gave birth to itself, and split itself apart, and its goal is to bring itself back together. And that’s why every time we connect with one another or we connect with nature, we are bringing God back together to itself.”
This is their pearl of wisdom? THIS is Rhett’s philosophy on God and what’s it all about? After all these years he says, “I kind of hope…“? THIS is “The thing that makes the most sense to me”? Pantheim!? Google it
What a crock. Unastounding hogwash. That is pantheism. All his knowledge of the Bible and Jesus… and he says …this?

Incredible Unbelief
What a crock, I say. What total and abject abdication. These two have given-up completely, abdicated any responsibility for their spiritual eternity whatsoever. And, what’s worse: they are prominently online trying to mislead others away from true faith in Christ.
Apostates. Not following wisdom, they became King Solomon’s Fool. 1

Link Neal said, “I’m in a good place….”
Rhett said, “I can honestly say that I do not ever fear Hell. I did for a while, especially in the midst of deconstruction, but no, this is not an issue for me now.”
Rhett described Hell as a human construct, not a biblical one, noting it’s a “really, really effective mechanism to keep people in the religion. Get them in by promising eternal life in Heaven; keep them in by saying, if you leave you’re going to go to the bad place.”
Rhett described himself as a “hopeful agnostic,” while Link expressed that he no longer identified as an Evangelical Christian but still had some spiritual beliefs…adheres to a “secular humanist moral philosophy” rather than biblical principles.
“When I say that I’m agnostic, I’m saying, ‘I don’t know.’ And I’m also saying I’m OK with that,” he said. …I’m talking about me. I don’t believe [Christianity], and I’m just as happy. Life is beautiful, life is mysterious, and I am hopeful.”
Rhett said he wants to “stay on this fence … of not knowing” and will “probably die” on that fence.

A Sure Deal if we turn
The Bible states emphatically that if we turn to Jesus — we have a Sure Deal. Apparently Rhett and Link took a different deal. They were never of us, the Bible says.
“19They went out from us [seeming at first to be Christians], but they were not really of us [because they were not truly born again and spiritually transformed]”
– Verse 19 of 1 John 2:18-19.

There are two deals, actually. They are both sure deals. The Bible tells us to choose one or the other. Which will you choose?
Is this you?
PREFERENCE #1: Salvation in Christ is a sure thing – living eternally with a good God.
For me – NOT an option, just can’t handle this. Don’t care to take that offer.
PREFERENCE #2: Eternity without anything from a good God – is a sure thing.
For me – yep. That is my preference, this second choice. Give me Hell.

We are fortunate that God is patient with us. Oh how marvelous His grace! We learn in 2 Peter 3:7-9 that He is “extraordinarily patient”.

Before it’s too late
God is a very loving God. (See John 3:16.) If you are like “Ear Biscuits” Rhett & Link, you need to rethink. Turn now from what you are into. “It’s not too late – till it’s too late.” The Bible says you need to fear THIS – fear Him, the One that can deal with you after death. Matthew 10:28
A person can damn you, but, what’s that going to do? Not much. (Matthew 10:28, Luke 12:4) However, on That Day of Judgement, a God damn is forever bad, forever unforgiving, never changeable – permanent in the universe.

God loves you
Know that the real God of the universe loves you and is waiting on You. He wants you. God “is [extraordinarily] patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.”
7 But by His word the present heavens and earth are being reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly people.
8 Nevertheless, do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years is like one day. 9 The Lord does not delay [as though He were unable to act] and is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is [extraordinarily] patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance. – 2 Peter 3:7-9
The thing is – death catches up to us all. Are you ready to meet your Maker on that day? Tomorrow? No. Now is a good time to get ready.

Fear This Excerpt: The only one to fear is God. Do you? Have you gone out of your way to know God, to study what He has written to us in the Bible? The Bible explains why we should be very mindful of God. That “fear” should change our entire way of life here on earth.

Caught-up with a practice God has said not to practice?
Realities God has established…The realities of God Excerpt: You cannot declare what is truth. You cannot declare what is real, what you want reality to be. It is God who declares what is truth, what is real, what real reality is.
You can try. You can try really, really hard. But you can’t change the realities of gravity, cold and heat. You can believe what you want. But you will get taken down, burned, and frozen. That’s obvious. The same realities are true in the spiritual world, the realities of God – His ways, His declarations, His laws, His rules. He rules reality. Not you.
