Do you see the bird on the fence? Jesus’ message is asking us:
Get off the fence. | Make the turn. | Decide for Him.
Truly anyone, “whosoever“, may turn to Jesus for salvation. Anyone, absolutely.
No exception. That shows the immense grace that He has towards us. God truly is mighty to save.
However, there is this list in Scripture of those who do not turn from sin. They keep it.
For one reason or another… they do not turn and believe in Jesus. They keep their sin… and are lost forever. So, so sad.
Scripture predicted how so many would react to Jesus on earth. The unAcceptors, the unBelievers, the Rejectors… “this adulterous and sinful generation Mark 8:38. They:
…resist His salvation parameters (sticking to their fabricated rules for living),
…are ashamed of Jesus and His Way
…do not receive the kingdom of God as a little child
…will not lose their life for Jesus’ sake (but “saves his life”)
…will not bear his cross (in order to follow Jesus’ Way)
…will not forsake all 100%

The Way to Salvation always involves obedience to Jesus
Have you been “resisting” God’s parameters for salvation? A basic truth about salvation in Jesus is found here:
James 1:22
22 But prove yourselves
doers of the word
[actively and continually
obeying God’s precepts],
and not merely listeners
[who hear the word
but fail to
internalize its meaning],
deluding yourselves
[by unsound reasoning
contrary to the truth].
Using unsound reasoning
God’s message is saying: Do not merely listen and then merely like it. That is inadequate.
Get off the fence. Don’t just hear about Gods’ grace. You must internalize it, as in “I accept all that Jesus is and does“. Do not think yourself so smart that you use “unsound reasoning” that is “contrary to“ what the Bible truth tells us.
Make the turn.
Turn from – Turn to.

Get off the fence.
