The life of Jesus, the Godman, was packed into 33 years on earth. Interesting – what we learn about Him and what He endured.
This Is It
THIS is it! This is my life. God gave it to me. Every moment. I can do with it whatever I choose. Not every moment is stellar, but… this moment is part of it all. Put it all together, and it makes up — my life. There’s no sense in waiting for something else to come along! What else!? This is it! THIS is my life.
Christ and… ONLY Christ
You put forth false teaching when you use Muslim mysticism as truth. Very disappointing – to see a Christian missionary agency expounding on the Word in this manner. Makes you kind of wonder….
Are You Known By Your Love?
Remember the time Jesus was harsh, irritated, argumentative, hateful? Nope. That’s because He never was! How are you known? Are you known by your hatred of something? Or are you known for your love? Where is the love? Show me by how you treat me.
Wow. God became a man.
Wow. God became a man to save all who would believe in Him (Isaiah 7:14, 9:6; Matthew 1:21). This is actually a stumbling block to some who consider it too fantastic or foolish to be true (1 Corinthians 1:23). It seems to them more like science fiction, myth or fairy tale to think that GOD, […]
That’s Odd
Isn’t it odd that the creator of a computer would doubt even the existence of the Creator who created something he can’t understand?
Was Matthias an Apostle?
Was Matthias an Apostle? by Randall Shelley It can be argued either way. A. He became an apostle: 1) He was with Jesus from the beginning of His ministry. (Acts 1:21-22) 2) The apostles prayed to the Lord to show them which to select to replace Judas. (Acts 1:24) 3) The eleven remaining apostles “cast […]
Losing It
Our hope is always ever in Christ, never in our strength, never in our abilities, never in our own self. Always – our hope is in the One who changed us for His purposes. My salvation does not rest in me. God has me in His hands, and His hands are strong. And He will never let us go. That is why I am not afraid.
That Moment In Time
There is a certain moment in time when everything changes, when a mere human is transformed by God into a completely different type of human. That moment changes everything for that person. Nothing is the same anymore. A new creature has been born – really and truly “born again” into new life in Christ. This magic moment!
Accepting What God Rejects
These days a troubling question is, “How far from God’s values can I stray, and still be “following Him”? Do I accept what God rejects? Life, ultimately, is not about what I think – it is about God, and what He has declared.

Let Not
Let not When trouble surrounds me, when I am stressed – I find peace by not letting my heart be fussed, not letting myself be afraid …of whatever it is. I have to consciously choose peace. Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give […]
Mary, Jesus’ Mother
So here is a young girl who is suppose to be a virgin (prophesy – Isaiah 7:14), pregnant and not married yet (Mat. 1:18). And she knows that the baby she is carrying is God – Mt. 1:23. But she also knows, for being pregnant, that everyone including her family, friends, and the town all think she has slept with someone making her an adulterer and according to the Mosaic law, she should be stoned to death (Ex. 20:14). But she knows this isn’t true (Lk. 1:26-38).
Issues of Honor
.Ephesians 6:1-4 Both the Jewish and Greek-Roman writers agreed that children from the ages 1 to 13 needed to honor and obey their parents. To honor one’s parents was to not bring shame on them in a godly society (Deut. 21:18-21). To honor was very synonymous with obeying them. In Luke 2:41-52 we find the […]
Near Death
What is this obsession with tales people tell about their time while unconscious!? How come so much stock is placed on the word of comatose or near-death people!? I understand the interest in death and dying, but why do so many people immediately believe their tales as true?
Change by God
Also see: God never changes. Never has. Never will. Since God knows all – past, future and present… then he does not “change His mind” as we know it, but rather – He changes direction according to His original plan which He is just at that moment bringing into fruition. From the get-go He knew […]

Mormon Polygamy and God
The reason why the Mormons practiced polygamy in the first place was because of a belief that Joseph Smith had about God. It is known that Joseph Smith had 34 wives.
Never Die Alone
It is impossible for me to “die alone”. How about you? Are you in Christ, ready to die whenever, wherever, with Him with you?
On the Physical Death of Jesus Christ
A medical evaluation by doctors in the Mayo Clinic: Jesus of Nazareth underwent Jewish and Roman trials, was flogged, and was sentenced to death by crucifixion. Accordingly, death resulted primarily from hypovolemic shock and exhaustion asphyxia.

Useless and Worthless
We really aren’t “useless and worthless”. It certainly feels that way sometimes. But Jesus died for our sin and paid the price with His blood. And now we are worth more than we can even imagine!
A Light at the End of the Tunnel
When I was going to the University of California, I had to take a class in Calculus and it was a very interesting class but the teacher was Chinese and didn’t speak English too well. And the class for me was very hard, especially the final which consisted of 5 questions that you had to […]
Day of Judgment May 21, 2011: Harold Camping’s latest prediction
A preacher set a date for what the Bible says no man can know. What what what? Comment: “We must also learn from Camping’s error to see that our methods of interpretation are not dry subjects best left to theologians to hash out. Each of us is responsible to learn where we received the Bible and how we are to properly understand its message. Only then can we help those who have been misled by Harold Camping and all who, like him, replace the divine message of Scripture with their own thoughts and fancies.”
When Life Just Doesn’t Seem Fair
Imagine in your mind that you are a young girl with the hopes of one day getting married, having children, and being part of a family that loves God and wants to serve others. And as you grow up you do everything right, or almost what you think is right (Romans 3:23). And you […]
Uncovering the “Covering Doctrine”
The teaching on “covering” goes like this. Everyone needs to be accountable to someone who is spiritually his or her superior. This someone may be your cell group leader, the head of a church department or your senior pastor etc. In turn, these leaders receive covering from someone further up the line, for instance a denominational leader or a “recognised” apostle. However, “ultimately, our walk in the Spirit is not the responsibility of leadership; it is our own responsibility. It is time for each one of us to choose – do we want the rulership of kings, or do we want the rulership of THE King?”
Being Christian
What’s it like these days to be a Christian? Really a Christian. For many, what the Bible teaches is generally okay, but, when it comes to certain specificities, what it says, they reason, needs to be interpreted in the light of today’s enlightened realities. But — will that work in – The End – when we stand before Him, physically? Stop and think about that Day.
Does saying a “sinners prayer” save one from going to hell?
