Are you under – A Deluding Influence?

“God ^{[b is sending]} will send upon them ^{[c an activity of error]} a deluding influence….”  – 2 Thessalonians 2:10-12

2 Thessalonians 2:10-12

In these perplexing, wild, and topsy-turvy 2020 days, a beginning decade, I believe we are seeing about 48%, almost 1/2, of the USA peoples living as dead men walking (“the body is dead because of sin” – Romans 8:10). Though living they are the walking dead (spiritually).

1 Timothy 5:6
Whereas she who
lives for
pleasure
and
self-indulgence
is spiritually dead
even while she still lives.

Rejecting Christ
They are those who have rejected Christ – “they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved” (v10), and thus are — under ^{[c an activity of error]} a deluding influence so that they will believe ^{[d the lie]}what is false.”

¹⁰ and with ^{[a every deception]} all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved. ¹¹ For this reason God ^{[b is sending]}will send upon them ^{[c an activity of error]}a deluding influence so that they will believe ^{[d the lie]}what is false, ¹² in order that they all may be ^{[e condemned]} judged who did not believe the truth, but ^{[f approved]} took pleasure in wickedness.

Examine yourself.  Are you identified here?  Have you been outed by God? God is asking you to repent.

Are you under a deluding influence?  Have you taken “the lie”, hook line and sinker?  Do you take “pleasure in wickedness”? (v12)  Have you followed the Pied Piper Dems into their lies?

The Apostle Paul warned of this delusion, and it seems to be happening right now, this year (2020) in America. The “deluded”:

3. took pleasure in wickedness

Following the Goats
I’d say 100% of the goat followers of the Dems of today (2020) are believing “what is false” (v11).  They are into it.  Or they are lost goats blindly following a party shepherd they joined with long ago.  Whatever they claim – the Dems of 2020 are far from God, walkin’ dead in their sins, concurring with the Devil. Woe to them goats on Judgement Day!

Read here where God separates the goats from the sheep: Matthew 25:31-46.  Reading that, I’d much rather be a Dumbass Lamb put in “the place of honor” than a condemned goat separated to “the place of rejection”.

…and He will put the sheep on His right
[the place of honor],
and the goats
on His left
[the place of rejection].

According to the Apostle Paul there are many entities besides us humans (“flesh and blood”) in this universe:

…the rulers, the powers, the world forces of this [present] darkness, the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) places… angels, principalities, things present and threatening, things to come, powers, height, depth, other created thing. (Extracted from Ephesians 6:12 and Romans 8:38-39).  They all concurr with the Devil – against God Almighty. 

Jesus Himself will separate the wheat from the chaff. The conquering Master of the Universe will group the goats who did not live for Him (Matthew 25:31-46), and separate them from the sheep who truly followed their Shepherd.

Don’t waiver because of how the many phoney baloney believers live-out their faith …the “unrepentant” and confounded, the chaff, the weeds, the “tares” growing right alongside the good wheat, content in their wayward thought. The 48%
Look around.  Look at the New Democrat agenda for November, 2020.  This list (the What is False list here…) is approved behavior by the 48% politically correct goats.  Do you approve this list as good and commendable?

This is the wickedness so many Americans ^(v12) take pleasure in , vote for, rally around, riot around, and get violent about.  If you support these, then you are one of the 48%ers.  These Matthew 25 “goats” are outside Jesus’ worldview.  This is what Paul calls “what is false” (v11 of 2 Thessalonians 2:10-12).

abortion on demand
premarital sex
extramarital sex
same-sex sex
polyamorous marriage
gender fluidity

There is a whole lot in the world that the Bible teaches us is not approved by God:

Ephesians 4:17-19; 1 Corinthians 5:11; 1 Corinthians 6:9-10; Colossians 3:5-11.

Don’t listen to the alluring siren sounds of lies, calling you to approve of what God condemns.  Vote your principles this year around.

About Christians
Because we stand for God, does not mean we claim to be perfect.  We claim to be forgiven and following Him, focused on Him with all that we are.  That is where our heart is at.

We are daily submitting ourselves to Him – asking that He keep us from all sin, and continually conforming to Him – not to the world.

Do you tolerate evil?

It is possible for God to change me.  He can change me – inside and out.  I can come to God “just as I am“.  If I do, then I am enough – for God’s Kingdom.  But I must first reconsider my life, submit to Him for change.  It doesn’t work the other way around, ever.  God will never change His ways just because I want it my way.

And so THEN, what are you going to do in That Day?  Argue and plead with the Almighty?  You really think THAT will work?  You are the putty, the mud, in the Sculptor’s hands.  Is the mud to question the potter?  I stand amazed looking at the arrogant mud-man shaking his puny little mud-fist — at God, the Potter!  At God!  Ha!  What impudence.  What futility, despair, regret.

At this time in God’s plan of the ages for us, God is not condemning sinners. THAT will come later!  Currently God is trying to get our attention to get us to accept Him before it is too late!  Right now the Holy Spirit is working to convict sinners of their need to be forgiven — even while thick-in-sin.
