Jesus presents believers with a great hope for the predicted End Times. We will escape the pouring-out of God’s wrath. Jesus said He will rescue us so that we escape that wrath (1 Thessalonians 1:9-10; Luke 21:36; Revelation 3:10-11).
We will be Snatched by God. Hallelujah!
As “the end” becomes more and more clear to us, it will be more and more likely that the timing of His return is soon. He promised He Himself will return to rapture away all His faithful. He said, “I will come back again and I will take you to Myself, so that where I am you may be also.” – Verses 2-3 of John 14
What will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?
Jesus said He will return soon, just as He left. Things are heating up. Both Enoch (Genesis 5:24) and Elijah (2 Kings 2) were “raptured” away by God. Each was walking along one day and – suddenly snatched by God!
He did it then, and He will do it again – someday in these End Times. Are you ready? We must be ready! Read: Be cautious and active in faith.
We are now in “Birth Pangs” times, and then – the End
This fits right into the “end days” prophecies. Believe it. I am so very excited about the next events predicted in God’s plan – His plan which He had written into the Bible for us to know.
If we face death because of our faith in Christ, we can be confident knowing that He is with us all the way. He alone is our hope. “Fear not.” At the moment of our death – we put on Immortality. God’s Home Heaven will soon be our new Eternal Home. Is your faith strong enough to die for?
28 Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul; but rather be afraid of Him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.
4 “I say to you, My friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that have nothing more that they can do.
The Hand of God is upon us who have been born again, reborn from above. God resides inside us! And how encouraging it is to know: “Greater is He who is in you, than he that is in the world.” – 1 John 4:4. We can be fearless, knowing that! How firm is your faith in Him?
4 Little children (believers, dear ones), you are of God and you belong to Him and have [already] overcome them [the agents of the antichrist]; because He who is in you is greater than he (Satan) who is in the world [of sinful mankind].
The Holy Spirit never stops working in and through us. We should be greatly encouraged by His presence inside us. Jesus says to us: “Stand tall and lift up your heads in joy“.
Excerpt: “Small as we may be in the grand scheme of things, what’s done by us – in His Spirit – will be rewarded in Heaven. Live daily with the expectation that the hand of God is upon you.”
This is natural for us – so put it on
Jesus spoke of these end times. Things are heating up. Yes. But we need not fear what is coming. Jesus said, “Your redemption is drawing near.”
The appointed time will come – right on time. Be patient. The passing of time is because He wants more and more folk to have the chance to trust in Him for salvation. Jesus saved me. Read the Bible – for it can lead you to salvation in Christ also.
The Bible is “able to give you the wisdom that leads to salvation”
The establishment of the Kingdom of God on earth is near, but first we may have to experience suffering and persecution. But He that is inside us — is our refuge and comfort in the midst of all troubles. Read: When we face difficult times in our life.
The Returns of Christ in the End Times
The next “coming of the Lord” will happen in two phases: first the Rapture, and then, several years later — He will return again, but this time in power and glory (Matthew 24:30; Mark 13:26; Luke 21:27) to destroy the enemies of Israel at the battle of Armeggedon and establish His Kingdom.
Jesus is He who rescues us from the wrath to come (1 Thessalonians 1: verse 10). The “wrath to come” is coming during the Great Tribulation period. That “wrath” is the extreme anger of God that comes upon the earth. The good news is: Believers who “are worthy” will escape that “wrath to come”. They will be raptured. 4 I have told you these things [now],
so that when their time comes,
you will remember that
I told you about them….
– John 16:4
“Arise, my love, my beautiful one,
and come away.”
10 My beloved spoke, and said to me,
“Rise up, my love, my beautiful one, and come away.
11 For behold, the winter is past.
The rain is over and gone.
12 The flowers appear on the earth.
The time of the singing has come,
and the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land.
13 The fig tree ripens her green figs.
The vines are in blossom.
They give out their fragrance.
Arise, my love, my beautiful one,
and come away.”
– Song of Solomon 2:verses 10-13
