“whatever a man sows, this and this only is what he will reap“
It’s a brand new morning. I’m a’gonna grab my hoe and go’a hoeing.
Galatians 6: verse 7 in the NASB version
“Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a person sows, this he will also reap.”
Galatians 6: verse 7 in the AMP version
“Do not be deceived, God is not mocked [He will not allow Himself to be ridiculed, nor treated with contempt nor allow His precepts to be scornfully set aside]; for whatever a man sows, this and this only is what he will reap.”
Life
On most any given day — that’s a tough row to hoe. Hard for everyone, but much tougher for some. How are you doing with the row you hoe?
“…whatever a man sows,
this
and this only
is what he will reap.”
– Galatians 6:7 AMP
Galatians 6: verse 7 in The VOICE version
“Make no mistake: God can’t be mocked. What you give is what you get. What you sow, you harvest.”
When we live, we hoe and sow. And as we sow, we plant. And what we plant, that and only that is what we will harvest. Come our reckoning day, we will get “the returns of our investments”.
What we planted, following Jesus or not following Jesus, will be rewarded accordingly. All our living days add up on harvest day.
Harvest Day
King Jesus is coming soon (Matthew 25:34), maybe today (with His Rapture of believers). And then, after the Great Tribulation, when He comes in glory, He will gather-up all of the harvest, so to speak: Matthew 25:31-46
Those on His right
If you have accepted God’s free offer of salvation, then you will hear this:
“Then the King will say to those on His right, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father [you favored of God, appointed to eternal salvation], inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. – Matthew 25:34
Those on His left
If you have NOT, then you will hear this:
“Then He will say to those on His left, ‘Leave Me, you cursed ones, into the eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels (demons)” – Matthew 25:41
The world is going all to hell, but there is a way to escape. Jesus has promised that through Him there is a way to …“Escape all these things that are going to take place”. Are you ready for “the end”, as Jesus put it (Matthew 24:14)?
Mark 1:15 warns us:
“The [appointed period of] time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent [change your inner self—your old way of thinking, regret past sins, live your life in a way that proves repentance; seek God’s purpose for your life] and believe [with a deep, abiding trust] in the good news [regarding salvation].” – Mark 1:15 AMP
Jesus said, “The right time has come. The kingdom of God is near. Change your hearts and lives and believe the Good News!” – Mark 1:15 International Children’s Bible
Nobody can fake it with God – put one over on Him (lie to Him) …and succeed at it. He knows your heart. The only good response to this God of love and grace is this:
“repent [change your inner self—your old way of thinking, regret past sins, live your life in a way that proves repentance; seek God’s purpose for your life] and believe [with a deep, abiding trust] in the good news [regarding salvation].”
For way too many folk…
God is way beyond you. Your own way is the broad way – the highway to hell that leads to eternal destruction. God’s way is the narrow way (Matthew 7:14), the way of Jesus.

“Therefore be careful how you walk,
not as unwise men but as wise…
because the days are evil.
So then do not be foolish,
but understand what the will of the Lord is.”
– Ephesians 5:15-17
Are you aware of Jesus’ parables of the Virgins, Talents, and Judgement?
Where is your heart?
Where are your allegiances? (your… loyalty, faithfulness, obedience, devotion?)
To what/who are you allied?
Who do you love most?

Planting with the way you live
What have you been planting with the way you live?
The judgement of God is a sure thing – guaranteed by God Himself. God also guarantees eternal freedom from judgement to all that turn to Him. That is why Jesus came to earth. Jesus came to save us all. Are you ready to meet your Maker? – Source: Judgement of God
I am absolutely excited about meeting Jesus face to face. Scripture says He is coming soon. I am ready! How ’bout you?
As His born again followers we will live forever, experiencing only the good of God. Once we leave this earthly sphere, we will never again suffer, never again have pain, never again feel sorrow, never have anything happen to be sad about or mourn about.
