Jesus said to the religious folk:
“…you are not of God and you are not in fellowship with Him.”

Read His words here in John 8: verses 45-47
45 But because I speak the truth, you do not believe Me [and continue in your unbelief]. 46 Which one of you [has proof and] convicts Me of sin? If I speak truth, why do you not believe Me?
47 Whoever is of God and belongs to Him hears [the truth of] God’s words; for this reason you do not hear them: because you are not of God and you are not in fellowship with Him.” – John 8: verses 45-47
They were called scribes and Pharisees and Sadducees in Jesus’ day, but today, well, you know them, right? Who they are, what they are called? They go by many names. Scripture says this about some of them:
1 John 2:19
They went out from us [seeming at first to be Christians], but they were not really of us [because they were not truly born again and spiritually transformed]; for if they had been of us, they would have remained with us; but they went out [teaching false doctrine], so that it would be clearly shown that none of them are of us.
Are you
“in right standing with God”?
(Matthew 25:31-46)
Excerpt from God spoke through prophets and Jesus – the greatest of all:
“Jesus performed miracles and furnished us with sufficient proof. It’s not blind faith that we have when we believe in Jesus. They actually witnessed proofs. They were no longer ignorant. Neither is the world now.
Knowing the Messiah has come, our response should be to accept Him in repentance, and “listen to Him and obey everything He tells you (Acts 3:17-26).
Are you yourself “of God”? Or just “of whoever, whichever god”? Maybe …following your fabricated ways? “Of yourself!”
We all should periodically examine our spiritual standing with God. Seek to know why God rejects anyone. Maybe you? It could make an eternity of a difference!
Myself? On That Day? I sure as Hell do not want to be caught following a god who is not really God. Oh the horror! I can’t imagine.
I’ve found my safe-in-Jesus place.

Matthew 25:31-46 speaks of the day He will separate the sheep from the goats: His sheep of His pasture to the right, and the goats who have rejected Him – to the left. Are you ready for that day of judgement?
______________
46 Then these [unbelieving people] will go away into eternal (unending) punishment, but those who are righteous and in right standing with God [will go, by His remarkable grace] into eternal (unending) life.” – Verse 46 of Matthew 25:31-46
James 4:14 Amplified Bible
Yet you do not know [the least thing] [b]about what may happen in your life tomorrow. [What is secure in your life?] You are merely a vapor [like a puff of smoke or a wisp of steam from a cooking pot] that is visible for a little while and then vanishes [into thin air].
