Resist the pressure, be not conformed
Take a Christian Stance
What is your stance on issues in the public square? Conforming Romans 12:2 is still a problem, no matter your age.
According to Peter, we mustn’t be “conformed to the evil desires”, sins “which governed you in your ignorance” 1 Peter 1:14. The enemies of our soul will roll you up, keep you silent, keep you conforming in it’s mold – even getting you to support evil, hating others. There are consequences for supporting evil!
Do you feel it? I resist the pressure to conform. In Christ I am a strong person. Yes I can – I can stand strong Ephesians 6:10-18…verse 11. What I say? Stand Strong. Stand up. Speak up. Be not conformed.
Romans 12:2
And do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you].
1 Peter 1:14
[Live] as obedient children [of God]; do not be conformed to the evil desires which governed you in your ignorance [before you knew the requirements and transforming power of the good news regarding salvation].
It is easy to conform to what’s around us. It’s easy to stay ignorant of the realities. Peter tells us: “do not be conformed to the evil desires which governed you in your ignorance….”
The Media twist the truth, turn things upside down, and give us wrong impressions. There is a huge lack of common sense out there. I “write-off” a huge percentage of all that is said there.
Resist the pressure,
resist ProPalistine acts,
stand up for Israel,
speak out against evil,
be not conformed,
stand firm,
stand strong,
stand up,
speak up,
be honest,
be biblical.
I must consciously resist media versions of what goes on in the public square, what they call the truth. Is it “political” to resist evil? Resist them – like these UCLA guys did in 2024:

PIC: Public square. UCLA students resist Pro Palistine acts on May1.2024.
Jesus said, “I am the light of the world.”
John 8:12
Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
John 9:5
As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.
In Christ, we are His light for the world. I refuse to hide my lampstand light (See all in one link, or: Matthew 5:15, Mark 4:21, Luke 8:16, Luke 11:33, Luke 11:36, Revelation 18:23).
Ephesians 5:8
For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:
1 Thessalonians 5:5
Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
Being light is God’s normal
Stand strong against evil. Standing is a norm for Christian living. I want to be a more righteous person. I refuse to conform to the enemies of our soul. How ’bout you? Or, is your light actually darkness? Scary thought.
Don’t hide. Put your candle out there!
“…be blameless and harmless,
the sons of God,
without rebuke,
in the midst of
a crooked and perverse nation,
among whom ye shine
as lights in the world.”
– Philippians 2:15

Can people in the dark see your light. You standing up for Jesus? Standing strong against evil is a norm in Christian living. I want to be a more righteous person. I refuse to conform to the enemies of our soul. How about you?
______________
Growing into our natural new life in Christ
301 things you are in Christ…is walking in His light – 1 John 1:7. Excerpt: Never let the enemy tell you that you are worthless or insignificant.
You have value in the eyes of God so great that it was worth dying for. You are a blessing to the world.
7 but if we [really] walk in the Light [that is, live each and every day in conformity with the precepts of God], as He Himself is in the Light, we have [true, unbroken] fellowship with one another [He with us, and we with Him], and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin [by erasing the stain of sin, keeping us cleansed from sin in all its forms and manifestations]. – 1 John 1:7
In Christ I am a strong person
Yes I can – I can Stand Strong
Your New Leaf – once you have repented
How a Christian lives life…norm in Christian living
How you can know you are a Christian
Is your light actually darkness? Excerpt: It is God’s word that fills us with light – not any of the multiple, vain, man-made philosophies cooked-up to make us feel wise (Zephaniah 3:4, Luke 11:52, John 8:47, 2 Corinthians 2:17, Philippians 4:8, 1 John 4:6). Our made-up ways are dark.
Jesus is saying here: “Be careful.” Wake up! That light in you — what is it, really? If it is not coming from Me [God Himself], then your “light” is actually darkness, no matter how smart you are. Your thinking is totally devoid of the One True God. Your life is then filled with the dark.
Why believe such stupididiotic things?
That moment of IF – when you choose your own thinking Excerpt: The dynamic crossroads is a moment in time where we choose, either God’s Way or Our Way. It’s actually a “Y” in the road where we make a huge decision: keep on going directly ahead, or choose the turn. Two Paths to choose from – You see, there is a meetup down the road. Are you a goat or one of the sheep of His fold (Psalm 23)? Don’t let your moment of if morph into your eternal existence of not.
Be careful that no one misleads you
Significance – What Jesus gives us…I am significant because Jesus loves me. He died for me! Excerpt: What we need is Almighty God to come down to us – and give us significance. “Without God’s guidance” Ecclesiastes 1, without Jesus the Godman – we are simply cogs in the works (“a tooth on the rim of a wheel or gear” –MerWebster), not of significance. In the natural we are but specks of dust in the wide, wide universe, lost souls destined for an eternity without anything good, whatsoever.
Fear this Excerpt: …There is similar kind of “fear” that I have. I fear the wrath of a holy God – The Damning God.
The reality of incompleteness on earth
More Than Conquerors – In Christ
The non-stop work of God inside you and me
Slowly becoming less and less Like dementia… Excerpt: And so it is with those who reject Jesus. They continue on in unbelief, and little by little those un-noticed little things harden. Rejection embeds.
Scripture says that some rejectors of Christ will eventually go dark. They will fail themselves into an inextractable unbeliefism so deep that they just never recover. God gives them over to their sin. God eventually gives a free rein. Their slavery is absolute (verse 16 of Romans 6).
Consequences of supporting evil
God eventually gives you a free rein
Issues in the Public Square affect our life and our faith Excerpt: Be biblical in all things. We absolutely have to be biblical – from our soul. Something many can’t handle is that being biblical will get you political. You cannot escape being political if you are biblical. Our politics well-up from our biblical understandings.
“…let us not
love [merely in theory]…
but in action
and in truth…”
– 1 John 3:18
Are Christians to remain hog-tied and silent in the face of evil?
Resist the pressure,
resist Pro Palistine acts,
stand up for Israel,
speak out against evil,
be not conformed,
stand firm,
stand strong,
stand up,
speak up,
be honest
be biblical.
Denying Jesus? Excerpt: Biblical Christianity
You don’t have to be an unrepentant monster like Hitler to miss the marvelous saving grace of Jesus. Just neglect to follow Jesus – leave Jesus’ ways a ways away.
Maybe fake it like Nancy Pelosi, tolerate evil, or be one of the enlightened folks of Hebrews 6:4-5 and merely “like” Jesus.
Following the Jesus who was not God
Do you have God? Excerpt: Running ahead of Jesus …2 John 1:9
Are you content with what Jesus taught? There are certain discontented ones among us who have run “on ahead” and gotten into strange teachings. God is not on their side.
The faith of “anything goes” Excerpt: “Anything Goes” is like Easy Beliefism: “Easy! Just simplify faith: “God is love! God died for everyone! No real choice involved here, really. Our loving God will lovingly accept where you’re at. Just be loving.” THAT is an “anything goes” false faith.” Paul warned us of how faith can wander from Christ.
