We learn a lot about angels by reading the entire Bible. They are part and parcel MerWeb of your life on earth!
“Their angels in heaven“
Did you know? Children have “their angels in heaven”. And: You do too – if you have been saved. Your angels in Heaven look out for you. They are right there, present, in the presence of God Almighty Himself.
Matthew 18:10 “See that you do not despise or think less of one of these little ones, for I say to you that their angels in heaven [are in the presence of and] continually look upon the face of My Father who is in heaven.

Angels are not ghosts! They are unique created beings. And God’s angels are more powerful than the fallen demon angels.
We therefore need not fear evil curses, evil spells, nor have fear of “being jinxed”. Why. Again: God’s messengers are more powerful than Satan and any of Satan’s demon angels.
Greater is He who is in you
This is most exciting and valuable to know: Because Jesus resides in me…evil angels have no direct power over me. We have nothing to fear, for…
“…greater is He who is in you
than he who is in the world.”
–Verse 4 of 1 John 4:1-6
I must say this again. Yes, Matthew teaches us: Children have their own angels.
“their angels in heaven
[are in the presence of and]
continually look upon
the face of My Father
who is in heaven”
– Matthew 18:10
Your angels in Heaven look out for you
Did you know the Bible teaches we all have our own angels. They are mighty and strong. Read this to know that:
Hebrews 1:14 AMP
“Are not all the angels ministering spirits sent out [by God] to serve (accompany, protect) those who will inherit salvation? [Of course they are!]”
We are told that God’s angels are “ministering spirits” to us born again believers. They have been “sent out by God” for us.
Not just some, but “all the angels” are sent out. They serve, accompany, protect “those who will inherit salvation”. Wow. What a multilayered universe we are privileged to live in!
I especially am encouraged by Paul in Romans 8. He assures us that absolutely nothing is stronger than God and His angels. Nothing at all can cause us to loose our salvation. Nothing. “Absolutamente nada” …absolutely nothing.
Romans 8:38-39
For I am convinced [and continue to be convinced—beyond any doubt] that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present and threatening, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the [unlimited] love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Nothing in all that exists in all the universe will ever snatch away what we have “in Christ Jesus our Lord”. Have you grasped the magnitude of that Truth? Absolutely astounding.
- Who are we “in Christ”? Author CGrobler counted 301 things you are in Christ.
- Are you “in Christ”?
- What powers can “separate us from the [unlimited] love of God”? *Answer: None.
- Will there be anybody in Heaven who have been separated “from the [unlimited] love of God”? *Answer: Not a chance.
- What are the powers against us which God keeps at bay to keep us safe for Heaven? *Answer:
“neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present and threatening, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing”. – Romans 8:38-39
We can: (1) stand confident knowing that God is in control of the events of our lives, (2) know His angels stand guard over us, and (3) know the Holy Spirit leads and guides. (4) Know God’s will prevails.
However, there are no guarantees that bad things won’t come our way. Sometimes bad things happen to believers, of course. But, we look to Him — not our circumstances.
Paul stood in peril of imminent death, and emphasized through it all:
Philippians 1:21
For to me, to live is Christ [He is my source of joy, my reason to live] and to die is gain [for I will be with Him in eternity].
_________
We are not told to pray to angels. Not at all. We pray to God in Jesus Name. He has already sent them out to serve.
God is not distant, and neither are His ministering spirits. That is part of why I do not fear evil. Well, and of course — plus the fact that Jesus gives me His perfect peace:
John 14:27
Peace I leave with you; My [perfect] peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid. [Let My perfect peace calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge.]

Excerpt from Have you “come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God”?
When you, in prayer, accept Jesus as your personal Savior, and/or when any true follower of Jesus prays — you have come to an awesome, almighty place of wonder and love. Oh how marvelous! Through prayer to Jesus:
— “you have come to Mount Zion
and to the city of the living God,
the heavenly Jerusalem,
and to myriads of angels [in festive gathering]….”
– Verse 22 of Hebrews 12:18-24.

Mark 4:24 Then He said to them, “Pay attention to what you hear. By your own standard of measurement [that is, to the extent that you study spiritual truth and apply godly wisdom] it will be measured to you [and you will be given even greater ability to respond]—and more will be given to you besides.

Why I fear no evil:
Philippians 1:6
For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work [a]among you will complete it [b]by the day of Christ Jesus.
2 Corinthians 4:16-18
16 Therefore we do not become discouraged [spiritless, disappointed, or afraid]. Though our outer self is [progressively] wasting away, yet our inner self is being [progressively] renewed day by day. 17 For our momentary, light distress [this passing trouble] is producing for us an eternal weight of glory [a fullness] beyond all measure [surpassing all comparisons, a transcendent splendor and an endless blessedness]! 18 So we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are unseen; for the things which are visible are temporal [just brief and fleeting], but the things which are invisible are everlasting and imperishable.
