Issues found in the public square affect our life and our faith. Do you know what they are? What would Jesus say? I think He is saying, “…let us not love [merely in theory]… but in action and in truth…” (1 John 3:18).
“Those who are people of faith”
Do you claim to be “a person of faith”? There are many types out there! What faith do you claim as yours? Is your faith type following Jesus and what He taught? Is it truly yours? What makes you think that your type of “faith” is acceptable by Jesus? It’s certainly worth testing it. Eternally worth it!
This is who we are in Christ
Real Christians “keep and obey…” We have a creed. We follow the example of Jesus. Our life imitates His – not in the sense of wearing robes and sandals, but in the sense of being like Jesus.

Want it – to know it… God’s message to us
Here are three simple guidelines to help us stay true to God’s meaning – when reading the Bible, or hearing a Bible teaching.
Practicing Sin, Not Following Christ
Are you practicing sin? Is there sin you constantly practice? Have you grown accustomed to accepting [“your” sin] as okay with God? Are you okay with the practices of your life? Scripture teaches us very clearly what is obviously …NOT following Christ. In fact, we are warned that “that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.” You are not following Christ if this is characteristic of you: Galatians 5:16-21.
Me, When I Die, forgiven
Do you know what will stand in the Court of God in His Holy Kingdom? What will not? God shows us in the Bible – what’s what. What we think, well, how can that count for much in His infinite knowledge?
