King Solomon knew what a fool was like, and what a wise person was. He was both – at one time or another. What will it be for you?
Want to be wise?
Still think you are smarter than the rest, that your way is the right way? Have you considered that God might be smarter?
Every believer’s new life in Christ [Part One]
Because God is extreme to the nth degree – God requires an extreme type of relationship from us. Once we get born again, we will continue growing deeply, naturally, into further maturity in Christ. The wonder of passing from being “God-damned” to being “marvelously saved by Jesus”. Oh how marvelous this journey!
Growing into our natural new life in Christ
Growing is what should be happening after we are “born again”, Paul says. The natural response to Christ is to grab hold of the good soil – and flourish. Ephesians 1 is about flourishing, germinating naturally, sprouting strong and stable.
What decides and settles your burning questions?
Everything around us is changing so fast these days. How on earth are we to make good, wise, decisions nowadays? Colossians 3:15 says: “Let the peace of Christ [the inner calm of one who walks daily with Him] be the controlling factor in your hearts….”
King Solomon’s Fool
Without wisdom, you are basically characterized as “a closed-minded, self-confident fool”, according to the wisest man ever on earth, King Solomon. Solomon said, if you are not following “wisdom”, then you are one or more of several not so wise types.
Make judgements all day long
In modern day English, the Bible does not say, Do not judge. I hear this a lot. But what the Bible actually means is, “Do not condemn others”. We are to be known by our love, and love is not condemning. Come on Christians! Don’t be known by how condemning you are of those around […]
The gentleness of wisdom
I was so repelled by the anger of a radio preacher the other day. His voice was angry! So harsh, the sound. Why would a preacher sound angry preaching his sermon? He was yelling at me! Scripture shows us a different tone: “The gentleness of wisdom” (James 3:13-18). It seems to be so missing – […]
Being Wise & Understanding
The wisdom from God reveals itself through our good behavior. A wise person shows his/her spiritual wisdom by their resulting good behavior (James 3:13-18). Are you spiritually wise and understanding? Look at your inner soul, and your outward actions, the things you do. That will tell you if you are spiritually wise and understanding. The […]

2 Peter 3:1-18 The Day of the Lord Will Come 3 This is now the second letter that I am writing to you, beloved. In both of them g I am stirring up your sincere mind by way of reminder, 2 h that you should remember the predictions of i the holy prophets and the commandment of […]
Genuine Or False
Are you genuine? “The real thing?” If Jesus put you on trial, would there be enough evidence to prove you guilty of being a born again Christian?!

Colossians 3:12-17
12 So, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience; 13 bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so also should you. 14 Beyond all these things put […]
