Almost every day I look to God and repent of my sins. I struggle with sinning, but I confess it to God — as “sin”, something vile to Jesus. I say “Yes” to Jesus. I don’t paint it over as “okay”. 1
I thank God that I have repented. How ’bout you?
Being a sinner is actually quite humiliating, isn’t it? I did not want this. I did not plan this. I did not want to be in this (Romans 7:1-8:17). So what do you do about it?

True faith pursues God’s Way (Romans 8:12-17)
Jesus is calling us all to repent. If I do not repent, I am saying no to Jesus: I make my faith a sham. What Jesus stands for – is what His follower must pursue. What kind of “faith” calls yourself “Christian”, but rejects what Jesus Himself said? It may feel good, but it’s not the road to God’s Home Heaven.
Fake faith does not fool God. That “faith” is dead-on-the-table dead. There is no “balancing-out” dead and dead (dead faith with dead works). 3 That is a fool’s way to go – “we can’t see up from down”.

Jesus saved me. He wants to save you.
He wants to lead us all to the entrance of His Kingdom. Have you come to meet Him? Are you seeking God?
We are but mud men, pieces from the Potter’s table. Befuddled and besmirched, we can’t see up from down.
God owns truth. Some of us never seem to get it: All sin is heinous to God. We will never get away with it. Only His forgiveness removes the penalty of sin in His Kingdom.
God is asking us to repent
and follow Him
so He can grant us entrance
legally into His Kingdom.
God has communicated His plan to us
through a miracle book, the Bible.
God calls His followers to reject sin (2 Corinthians 7:1), all that He calls “sin”, and press on to our upward calling (Philippians 3:12-14).

James 2:20
But are you willing to recognize,
you foolish
[spiritually shallow]
person,
that faith
without [good] works
is useless?

Footnotes
- …as do unbelievers like Scarlett Johansson. Read story in: Explaining “Natural”.
- “After all these years! I’ve been a born again Christian for 58 years already! And I still find myself suddenly in the middle of where I didn’t want to be, didn’t plan to be, and didn’t want to do this. What what what!? What!?
Angry once again. Thinking damning thoughts. Not wishing the best for someone. Unloving ways. What’s with that!?
I did not want this. I did not plan this. I did not want to be in this (Romans 7:1-8:17). So what do you do about it?
- You cannot balance-out your faith with practices that are heinous to God and expect God to change His ways for you. God does not use a balance scale. I cannot “balance-out my faith” by practicing sin. – Source: Balancing-out my faith with my practice.
