About Evidences for faith in Jesus

Evidence of the truth of the gospel of Jesus is presented to us in many ways.  If you fail to grasp a hold of the truth, it is only because of your failure to look and believe.  The evidences are all over the place!  If it happens right there in front of you – do you believe it? However, something that happened before we were born – has to be shown to us by evidences. What does it take for you to believe something is true?

Know Your Evidence

History shows us that God has plans for us. Through recorded history, and through the Bible records, we can clearly see what has happened in the past. There is no need to conjecture or guess about what is factually-based in history (although some will). The records left by real people in ancient times, be it secular or biblical, give us reliable evidence of what actually occurred.

Many believe in the historic general Napoleon, because of historical records — but confronted with even more and greater historical evidences, do not believe in the historic Jesus, God come down to earth as a man. What cognitive dissonance… that extreme feeling of discomfort some folks get when their core belief is challenged or contradicted.

Funny how we tend to believe what we’re going to believe – no matter what others say. Been there?

The same is true with our beliefs about God: With eternity at stake, why do so many not inquire more deeply and seek to know the truth about God?

Dive in, there is plenty of evidence to convince a sincere mind. After all, we’ll spend an eternity with our belief!

Research God for yourself

I think. You think. We all think. But, what does God think? Thinking is necessary. But what if your “think” is not God’s “think”? Then your “think” will end so very badly when you reach That Day of Judgement, quivering before God in the realization that it is His Think that rules the heavens, not yours.

Read about God’s “think”. What you think – matters. How you act it out – matters more. It will seal your eternity – with Him, or without Him.

Jesus is inviting you to come into His Kingdom.  Forever!  Imagine how exotic and opulent – His Place?  Is that exciting – or what!?  I’m looking for that! 

Have you visited Jesus, like the rich young ruler, and blindly held-on to your ways in the midst of all your religiosities? It is a fearful thing to consider being rejected by a damning God.  How far would you go to NOT be God-damned?

I look at an orchid, a rose, the tropical fish, lush jungles and forests, men, women and children and I say, “Oh my God such beauty can only be from You. It is good what you have done.

Scientists are discovering more and more new evidences for the existence of God — and not admitting it.  Graphic pictures of our DNA (top of this page) totally astound with evidence of an Intelligent Designer (otherwise known as “God”, Jesus the Messiah, Creator of all that is).

There simply has to be a growing cognitive dissonance within the wise guys’ social clique.

I am a Christian because…

Most people believe there is a God. What about you? Who is your god? Is He truly the God of the Universe? Or, have you just sort of ended-up with this made-up creation of yours that you call “my God”? Or maybe you’ve allowed some other people to sort of lure you into their version of god?

If I end up following some “god” of my own making – how stupid will that be in the end when I am face to face with the One who is really God?

The entrance of Jesus Christ onto the stage of history changed everything.  Have you realized that?  He Himself claimed to be God.  He was not some kook who fooled everyone into believing Him.  He actually furnished proof of His deity. God gave that proof already! Deal with it! It’s up to you now – to accept Him or reject Him.

Our God reveals Himself in the Bible to be extreme to the nth degree. He is many many things, but lets just look at His love and His holiness. It is only Jesus that was the perfect sacrifice to take our place of condemnation.  He is calling you to accept Him.

Time is not forever. We each will have time end. Time’s up! My last breath will stop, and time will be no more, for me. I will pass in a flash from time – to eternity, where time will be no more. The next dimension we will go to – is timeless.  God has revealed to us many glimpses into eternity and His plan of the ages.

God and His Heaven, and His angels – are in heaven’s dimension of a Timeless Infinite Continuum. Earth’s time is contained totally within our dimension, outside the Timeless Infinite Continuum of heaven. Earth time: It’s like a spinning toy top….

God Is Not Distant

An advertisement said, “8 Billion people can’t be wrong!” Reminded me of just how many people will be affected when Jesus suddenly surprises them, actually coming back just as He said He would. Are you ready for that day, or will it surprise you all to Hell? “On the contrary, billions of people CAN be wrong!”
