“My heart will go on singing….” (lyrics: Until Then) 1
“…Until then with joy I’ll carry on….”
– Source/lyrics: Until Then
Jesus is coming back soon… but until that day “my heart will go on singing.” I will continue to measure success by how I bring glory to God.
“But whatever former things were gains to me [as I thought then], these things [once regarded as advancements in merit] I have come to consider as loss [absolutely worthless] for the sake of Christ [and the purpose which He has given my life].” – Philippians 3:7 AMP
Philippians 3:7 in other versions:
World English Bible: 7 However, I consider those things that were gain to me as a loss for Christ.
Living Bible: 7 But all these things that I once thought very worthwhile—now I’ve thrown them all away so that I can put my trust and hope in Christ alone.
The Message: 7-9 The very credentials these people are waving around as something special, I’m tearing up and throwing out with the trash—along with everything else I used to take credit for. And why? Because of Christ.
Yes, all the things I once thought were so important are gone from my life. Compared to the high privilege of knowing Christ Jesus as my Master, firsthand, everything I once thought I had going for me is insignificant—dog dung.
I’ve dumped it all in the trash so that I could embrace Christ and be embraced by him. I didn’t want some petty, inferior brand of righteousness that comes from keeping a list of rules when I could get the robust kind that comes from trusting Christ—God’s righteousness.

Nothing is worth more – than bringing glory to God through what I allow in my day to day life. What is life worth to you? What is Jesus’ approval worth to you?

Jesus promises an end time Rapture
“The last days dangerous times”…have come
First Apostasy, then Antichrist, then the Rapture
Waiting for the Rapture – mentioned throughout the New Testament
The Lord does not delay [as though He were unable to act] and is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is [extraordinarily] patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.

Another hint about the Rapture… in 2 Thessalonians 2:7-8
What joy and exhilaration – soon
Why “the end” Jesus foretold is now
Normalcy Bias says – “Rapture can’t happen now!”

Jesus Returns to Earth Twice in the End Times
Excerpt: Starting with His birth as baby Jesus, born to Mary and Joseph, there are three biblical references to Jesus coming to earth – “in the name of Jesus” (as Christ, the Messiah). We believe there were other appearances, where God walked the earth, in the Old Testament, what are called “theophanies”, but those were never “in the name of Jesus“.
Are you ready to meet your Maker?
It’s all okay Excerpt:
…It’s okay. It’s okay, right?
But wait: God has spoken
get it right with Him, yah?
Or don’t you care to spend
a day with Him and ever after?

Lyrics at Musixmatch
My heart can sing when I pause to remember
A heartache here is but a stepping stone Along a trail that’s winding always upward This troubled world is not my final homeBut until then my heart will go on singing
Until then with joy I’ll carry on Until the day my eyes behold the city Until the day God calls me homeThe things of earth will dim and lose their value
If we recall they’re borrowed for awhile; And things of earth that cause the heart to tremble Remembered there will only bring a smileThis weary world with all its toil and struggle
May take its toll of misery and strife The soul of man is like a waiting falcon When it’s released, it’s destined for the skies. But until then my heart will go on singing,
Until then with joy I’ll carry on, Until the day my eyes behold the city, Until the day God calls me home.Source: Musixmatch Songwriters: Stuart Hamblen
