Dealing with God in error, with an unrepentant heart?
God deals in Truth. What are you thinking?
I’m writing this to you, “Christian”, because you might not be truly saved. No matter how devout – have you examined your faith lately? I’m writing this to you, “seeker”, because you might be right on the edge of trusting Him forever.
I want you to get it right. And by “right“, I mean — get truly saved according to what Jesus and the Bible say. Only the Gospel according to Jesus will save you – but His salvation comes with requirements for you.
Getting God to forgive you – forever
That is not an easy thing – getting God Almighty to forgive you. According to the Bible it is simple, yes: confess. Fess’ up. Repent.
But. The offer of salvation by Jesus is not an “olie olie oxen free, free, free” kind of thing.
Remember: we must approach God His way, in the way He Himself has said we are to. Try it any other way… and “your salvation” is no salvation at all.
God forgives sins
by His Holy Holy Justice
True salvation is:
- freely given (but not “free” of cost”)
- open for all to come to Him (but not to come to Him on your terms)
- effective for eternal life (but only for the honest)
- a narrow road (not the broad road of counterfeit faiths)
As I’ve written elsewhere:
Salvation is not a little prayer we mumble. It is a total heart surrendering. In Matthew 7:13-27 Jesus said this about that:
* You must walk the narrow road (Matthew 7:13-17).
* You must NOT follow the ravenous wolves (Do not attend apostate churches).
* You must bear good fruit.
* And you must leave the broad road things behind (God’s Sin List).

God rejects all cracked hearts
God does not save “just anyone who comes to Him”. He has rejected and continues to reject all cracked hearts. Got a cracked heart?!
* I’m thinking of the rich young ruler who came to Jesus but left sad. See: One thing you lack.
* And I’m thinking of those who want His forgiveness but actually want their sin more! See: Claiming a sin as – God’s will for you, Keeping Sin, and Keeping sin AND getting God’s Holiness also.
The rich young ruler (Mark 10:17; Luke 18:18; Matthew 19:16) turned away from God totally disappointed because he loved his lifestyle more than he loved Jesus. He thought he had it all together, that he was absolutely ready to meet his Maker.
That you? What will it be like to miss the way to heaven — because you lacked just one thing?!

God sees inside your insides. Your heart is bare open before Him at all times. So your heart has to be showing what your mouth is saying – or He will know you are actually unrepentant. See: Signs of an unrepentant heart
Dealing in error
Getting “saved” by Jesus, is a thing of the heart – 100%. If your life doesn’t follow your confession, then you did not get saved way back on that day you thought you did. Simple. Tragic. True forever.
If you keep practicing your own ways, practicing sin… then what kind of “repentance” did you have anyway? Way too many simply live in error. And God does not deal in error.
What are you thinking? He is Truth. And God deals in Truth. Choose to repent with sincerity and truthfulness – with all you are (Luke 10:27)!
What is it in you?
What do you need to “pluck out”? What do you need to throw away — in order to follow Him. You have a choice (as in: God will not force you into His Kingdom):
The God who created Hell for those who choose to rebel and reject Him to follow their sin, also created Heaven for those who choose to repent and reject their sin and follow Him with sincerity and truth. Are you holding steady… for hell? Or are you choosing “the forgiving God“?
Are you holding out? Or… will you bow the knee to God with all you are? …with all your mind, all your strength, with all your soul?

Faith comes by hearing (Romans 10:17)
Are you listening? The one-off offer Jesus makes to everyone – cost Him His life. Jesus died for you. Read John 3:3-21.
The salvation of Jesus
is the most expensive thing
in the universe!
That salvation will cost you your life. It truly is “to die for”! His “simple” offer is not to be taken as cheap.
Taking-in His Dye… baptized into His colors
Have you been dyed into Jesus’ colors, transformed, taken on the identity of a true child of God in true repentance (as baptism symbolizes)? Or are you a rebel still, living your own way, far from the true colors of the One who saves repentant sinners?
Matthew 12:50 is clear: you must do the will of God, not do your own will.
The passage of Matthew 25:1–13 tells the Parable of Ten Virgins. Five obeyed, but five lived their own way. They couldn’t be bothered with preparing properly for entrance into the wedding feast. Have you prepared properly for your eternal life?
“be on the alert
[be prepared and ready]”
25 “Then the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins, who took their lamps and went to [a]meet the bridegroom.
2 Five of them were foolish [thoughtless, silly, and careless], and five were wise [far-sighted, practical, and sensible].
3 For when the foolish took their lamps, they did not take any [extra] oil with them, 4 but the wise took flasks of oil along with their lamps.
5 Now while the bridegroom was delayed, they all began to nod off, and they fell asleep. 6 But at midnight there was a shout, ‘Look! The bridegroom [is coming]! Go out to meet him.’
7 Then all those virgins got up and put their own lamps in order [trimmed the wicks and added oil and lit them].
8 But the foolish virgins said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, because our lamps are going out.’ 9 But the wise replied, ‘No, otherwise there will not be enough for us and for you, too; go instead to the dealers and buy oil for yourselves.’
10 But while they were going away to buy oil, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding feast; and the door was shut and locked.
11 Later the others also came, and said, ‘Lord, Lord, open [the door] for us.’
12 But He replied, ‘I assure you and most solemnly say to you, I do not know you [we have no relationship].’
13 Therefore, be on the alert [be prepared and ready], for you do not know the day nor the hour [when the Son of Man will come].
My question for you is: Are you truly ready for The Return of Jesus the Bridegroom?
Jesus taught The Parable of the Ten Virgins (in Matthew 25:1–13) and said,
“Watch therefore….”
11 Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, lord, open to us.’ 12 But he answered, ‘Truly, I say to you, I do not know you.’ 13 Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour.
Want to reconsider? Who do you hang-out with… the wise or the foolish? (Matthew 25:1–13)
Maybe… go for the oil together with the wise virgins? The foolish virgins lost-out. Don’t be found with them on That Day.
FOR MORE:
No matter how devout – have you considered the possibility that Jesus has rejected you? I want you to get it right. And by “right”, I mean — get truly saved according to what Jesus and the Bible say. Want to reconsider things? Are you dealing with God in error, with an unrepentant heart? God deals in Truth. What are you thinking?

God forgives sins by His Holy Holy Justice
Feeling lucky? Excerpt: Daniel Hernandez of the LA Times shared (2022) about the lifetime of wishful thinking by Diana Kennedy (Diana Kennedy’s heated opinions). After her death at 99, his conclusion about her was:
“I’d like to think
her entrance to the afterlife
occurred
just as she damn well pleased
it would.”
The problem with that is that it doesn’t work that way. No matter how willful, no matter how adamant we may be… God is in charge and He determines how one gets entrance into the eternal.
Life without faith in Jesus leaves us in a big lie
Practicing Sin, Not Following Christ
God’s grace teaches us to reject sin
We don’t get into a Holy Kingdom by being sinful
Just beyond the veil Excerpt:
In essence, there are only two choices before we die in-place. 1 We don’t stay in that place where and when we die. We go to the ground (our body does), but ultimately we (our eternal soul) go to where God Himself determines we are to go.
You’ve got to be good with that, because He is the One who made us “…not we ourselves.” (Psalm 100:3)
When you get right down to it, you are the one that chooses: Your Way or God’s Way. Which way is it going to be? Which way are your feet walkin’?
