Fickle Piccadillies where I bend and accept picayune “nominal sins”
There are no picayune “small sins” MirrWebster. They float in-n-out and get stuck in our soul.
One sin can keep you from Heaven — so how “small” was it in retrospect after a trillion eons living in God’s place for Satan, still condemned?
Ever been hurt by someone’s piccadilly “small sin”? Wasn’t so small to me!
I must admit – I battle piccadilly attitudes and unguarded moments, most every day. Get that yourself?
I tend to think of “love” as my choice. But Christian agape love is a constant – with all Christian peoples.

Piccadilly sins seem to float in and out and get stuck inside. Thank God for His forgiveness when we repent.

Footnotes
- piccadilly refers to a whimsical attitude, like the hippies of the 60-7o’s, being fast-and-loose with any code of ethics, where one feels free to “do your own thing”, be free and easy to violate ethics or Christian conduct. Similar to “peccadillo” – “derived from the diminutive of the Spanish language word “pecado” meaning sin”, or as a diminutive meaning “just a little sin”.
