This is a satire about the way God might discuss theology with the NAR-types. Don’t get all in a huff. It’s satire!
Changing what God started
Changing what God said Does God need you to change what He said back in the Old Testament? Have you changed what God started? Really want to do that? God said doing so has eternal consequences. Satan was the first to cast doubt on what God said: Now the serpent was more crafty (subtle, skilled […]
Choose to change eternity
Jesus divided eternity into two sides, so to speak. There is a place you do not want, and there is a place where all the good is. Where you going to go? Easy choice. Jesus said, “Do it, and you will live….”
Un-becoming
When a person accepts Christ as Savior and Lord, a transformation journey begins. We start “un-becoming” (un-doing) what we were before Christ — and little by little “conforming” to Jesus. Our previous conforming to the world “pre-Christ” starts getting un-done as we begin our journey with Christ. Has that been your experience?
Change the way you live
Talking with some people who asked Him about the sinful ways of others… Jesus taught that it would be an eternally favorable act — to change your way of living. “…unless you repent [change your old way of thinking, turn from your sinful ways and live changed lives], you will all likewise perish.” – Verse […]
Can I become unsaved for any reason?
There is no reason to fear losing our salvation once we have sincerely repented and followed Jesus. But you’ve got to ask yourself: Did God save me? His side of the equation is solid. God does what He says He will do. But what about your side?
The Gospel of Christ Is Unchanging
There was a time when nobody knew the Gospel of Christ. It had not yet been revealed to us. It was a mystery all throughout the Old Testament eras. The culminating act of God to bring salvation to all who would believe and follow Jesus – was the death and resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth. The truths of God never change, for our God is unchanging. But just as the mystery of salvation was finally revealed, God is revealing, little by little, the mysteries of His prophetic words spoken by His prophets of old. Our understanding of “prophecy” – is ever increasing. God is releasing prophecies of old into realities of today. They are popping fast!
Seeing change in your heart
Are you ready to meet Jesus face-to-face on that day? Are you seeing change in your heart – since you “became a Christian”? We absolutely will see change towards godliness in our life… when the Holy Spirit enters into us. If you’re not seeing change towards Him, perhaps you never turned towards Him. Perhaps you never got saved, ever. But it’s not too late.
I stomped the mud puddle
It was not so nasty a word.
Isaiah 55:6-7. Turn to the LORD
Turn to the LORD and pray to Him, now that He is near. Let the wicked leave their way of life and change their way of thinking. Let them turn to the LORD, our God; He is merciful and quick to forgive. – Isaiah 55:6-7 Good News Translation (GNT)
Our Unmitigated God
The God who put together the Bible – has unmitigated force and strength, love, mercy and grace, holiness and justice. It will never work to tell God, “Lighten up!” Nothing mitigates this God. Absolutely nothing will ever soften, mollify or “fix” Him. Because? Because He is perfect and complete in everything that He is. The wonder of it all is that God wants us, sinners, to be with Him in His Kingdom.
Never Again
The true believer is in Christ, “reborn from above” – never to be “unborn” again. The true believer will never again be under the condemnation of God. Ever. “That act of becoming born again — is an act of God upon our life. We don’t do it — He does it! And that is why it will never be undone.”
Change by God
Also see: God never changes. Never has. Never will. Since God knows all – past, future and present… then he does not “change His mind” as we know it, but rather – He changes direction according to His original plan which He is just at that moment bringing into fruition. From the get-go He knew […]
Is God Free?
[Editor’s note: The “salvation” of God is free…, but this article considers the nature of God.] Is God truly “free”? This topic has been discussed by many, and the conclusions have been either one way or the other. Conclusion of Some: God is no freer than a robot Some believe that God is no freer […]
God never changes. Never has. Never will.
The Bible teaches that God cannot change. This is taught in the following verses.
God and Man have free will with which to make a choice
Choice is from God. He is a God of choice. He chose to create us. Then He chose to make it possible to forgive us. What choice will you make about God?
