You do not have to stay on God’s Sin List… contrary, unholy, practicing sin. God wants us all to repent. Ready to repent?
How far will you go to stay faithful to Jesus?
If you wanna get to Heaven – got to walk with Jesus. Who you walking with?
Turn shame into repentance
God does not overlook and excuse sin. However, Jesus dealt with the sins of others in a much more merciful manner than we tend to do with our self, “our” sins – and the sins of others. Are you “biblical” with sin and shame?
After that moment of passing
What happens after that moment of passing, where time will be no more? Figuratively speaking, we will be either sheep or goats, and Jesus Himself will separate the two.
Wrapped in unselfish love
From the richness of my soul I am sufficient enough to be loving in all situations. But if I am not well in my soul, then, well, trouble’s a’ comin’.
Doing one act of love at a time
Every breathing moment is a new moment to choose to be loving to others – or not. I do not have to be what I was in the past. I don’t have to be what I was this morning! I can choose to confess and repent — and be loving now. I’m developing habits of love!
Racism is an evil to personally resist
Obvious to all except the racist, is the truth that racism is evil. Too many are willing to tolerate evil these days. Racism is chock full of it….
I am well in my soul
I embrace this life God gave me. I also “Embrace the Suck” (the difficulties). It’s up to me to keep watch over my soul, my spirit, keep it fit, keep it clean, keep it well. Life in Jesus is all about Him. I refuse to “opt out”, to give in to sin. I don’t let it beat me down.
Always Biblical from my soul
Who are you, really? Are you that self-made free spirit, an independent, a liberal, a conservative? How would you label yourself? How about finding a more biblical label?
Be fools for Christ
Christians are seen as fools by the world. Quote from Antonin Scalia.
God forgives all wrongdoings of all repentant sinners, no exception
I’m still a workin’ more on being more consistently kind, more helpful, more tender-hearted, more forgiving. How ’bout you?
Embrace the fact
Have you found yourself “complaining about the way things are”? Pete Garcia (of rev310.net) wrote: “…instead of complaining about the way things are, …embrace the fact that God chose you to live in this time and place.”
Keeping a good conscience
We can learn a lot from the Bible about our “conscience”. We all start life with one. How’s yours doing?
Your share of hardship
Jesus promised troubles would come our way as His followers. Paul said, “Take with me your share of hardship [passing through the difficulties which you are called to endure], like a good soldier of Christ Jesus.”
Being a Temp in our temporary tent
Life is short. This life is temporary. Are you ready for the next?
Personal rules of practice
How to be more righteous – that is the Christian’s goal: To not let anything lead you into sin. To not become enslaved by sin. What have you set-up to guide you more into righteousness?
A place for hypocrites
Are you living your temp life faithful to Jesus? Or will you be assigned a place with the hypocrites?
That Joy Inexpressible
Do you have that inexpressible and glorious joy? You can. But “you must be born again” Jesus said.
Coming from God?
Are you prone to claiming “God gave me these words to share”?
Those who kill the body
“Do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that have nothing more that they can do.” Rather, “fear the One who, after He has killed, has authority and power to hurl [you] into hell.” Yes I can – I can stand strong.
He’s got this
Whatever it is that you’ve got troubling you, “He’s got this!” When I find myself in times of trouble, I turn to Jesus.
Tempting God
Paul warned the Early Church, and us, of course: Do not tempt the Lord. What does that mean?
What is good, and what is not
Are you going with God? Or, are you going against God? What’s it going to be?
Who God Blesses
The Lord may choose to lead us into purposes we now know not of. We may follow Him right into blessings we never thought of. Ready for that?
Waiting for it
Back around 33 AD, Jesus promised He would return to earth. Christians have been waiting for Jesus so long – almost 2,000 years! What?! We so much want Jesus to return today. He says: Wait for it.
Want to be wise?
Still think you are smarter than the rest, that your way is the right way? Have you considered that God might be smarter?
Nancy’s careless and unworthy participation in communion
God notices when we dare to celebrate His most holy death – yet stand there actively into sin, keeping sin… dissing Him with our hypocrisy. Do you know His Word enough to realize His displeasure is a clear and present danger – there at “communion”?
Biblical Rights for Children
Children, even the unborn ones – have a right to live. You think?
Babies do not have civil rights
American unborn babies do not have civil rights under Roe. What’s with that?!
I am not the sum of all my sins
I am a child of the King – not the sum of all my sins.
