“If we refuse to admit that we are sinners, then we live in a world of illusion and truth becomes a stranger to us.
– 1 John 1:9-10
Wrongdoing
If we are actually honest about it, we each must admit that we struggle with our own wrongdoing. If we’re honest.
It is that “wrongdoing” that keeps us out of Heaven. Nothing else – just sin. Sin separates all mankind from Holy God. In the natural, we are all without any hope of Heaven – except through Jesus.
However, in His love and mercy God has provided a way of escape from His condemnation, from His sure “God Damn“. And that way, the only way to forgiveness, is Jesus’ way: accepting the sacrifice of Jesus for our sin. Jesus said you must be born again (John 3:4-7).
This wasn’t made-up! God gave us this message. Without Jesus’ supernatural forgiveness there is no hope. We must believe in the Name of Jesus. If not… we are lost.
If we do not turn to God in repentance, turn from our sin… then we have no hope of His eternal life. Even if we are “nice and loving folk”, we remain God damned on Earth, and we will enter Hell.
Being God damned on earth is to be simply living your life – without Christ, living in rebellion against God, refusing to bow your knee to God, refusing his free gift of eternal life, living for anyone or anything else….

The Bible really does teach this: We all have sinned. We all are under God’s condemning judgement — until we repent and follow Him. There is no way around this – in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
“9 If we [freely] admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and just [true to His own nature and promises], and will forgive our sins and cleanse us continually from all unrighteousness [our wrongdoing, everything not in conformity with His will and purpose].”
– 1 John 1:9
Now of course we can make-up a new gospel that says: just be nice, loving and kind, and God will be His old loving self and let you into Heaven. And that is what some false teachers are saying. However, that is what the Apostle Paul warned us against. He called it “another gospel“. Not ours, said Paul. There is no other saving gospel.
This is not optional
We must be born again. Jesus Himself said that (in John 3:4-7). It is what the Gospel of Jesus Christ is all about. God demands it: Deuteronomy 10:12-22. So these types of “gospels” are misleading and totally not true.
Without Jesus’ supernatural forgiveness there is no hope.
You cannot just be loving and nice and good to others… and expect a warm welcome into the Kingdom of this incomparable Holy God. You will stand before His justice, not yours.
We know enough about His justice — to know how to bypass His Wrath. We get saved in order to escape His Wrath. The “rebirth from above” is absolutely necessary to be given His robe of righteousness (Isaiah 61:10) for Heaven.
Do you know what God is offering?
When we turn to Christ in repentance, He Himself declares us forgiven, forever clean in the sight of the Judge of the Universe. In that moment in time – we become His children. As we follow Him, we will sin more on this earth, but His grace covers His children. We are declared forgiven by the saving grace of God.

It is a privilege beyond understanding – very, very much, extremely very special… this being given access into His royal presence. You’ve got to get properly ready. We can’t just waltz into Heaven. There is a protocol which lets you joyfully meet your Maker at the entrance of His Kingdom, rather than having to meet Him, trembling, when He is Judge, at His Throne of Judgement. One is glorious. The other is horrendous.
The stakes are gargantuanly humongous! Don’t be a dufus and sell away your heart. What’s your soul worth anyway? – Source: The Kingdom of God is very exclusive, very luxurious, very special
Salvation is a 100% yielding of your heart
This matter of salvation is not concerned about your sins. Jesus took care of your sins – once for all, by His death and resurrection. Jesus has that covered. But you have to yeild to Him.
Salvation hinges on your heart. You can say all the right words, but if your heart is not 100% for Jesus, then there is no salvation. It’s not “being 100% sinless” in your actions, but “being 100% yeilded” in your heart.
“…we must not hold back. We must approach Him with “a broken spirit” — not a rebellious spirit, not a half-hearted surrender, but a 100% yielding.
Anything less – is contrivance, 1 fake repentance, a sham sham sham “acceptance”… an artificial, ineffectual faith. He does not want a religious thing. Fake faith might feel good, but God sees through any insincere religiosity.
– Source: Psalm 51 type repentance and salvation
This matter of salvation is concerned about your “sincerity and truth“. And that’s for God to discern, of course. We cannot know the heart of another, but God can. Jesus knows your thoughts. Your heart is open before Him.
God forgives all wrongdoings of all (truly) repentant sinners, no exception
The key part of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is what Jesus accomplished on the cross: He shed His blood on our behalf, for “without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness [neither release from sin and its guilt, nor cancellation of the merited punishment] – Hebrews 9:22. If you have not “availed” yourself of that “shedding of blood” – then “there is no forgiveness” and you will soon experience being God damned in Hell.
Never been there myself, but I trust the message of God in the Bible: you do not want to go there.
Being God damned in hell is to be forever damned, forever without God, without joy, without happiness, devoid of God’s goodness, without any good thing (since God is good), forever doomed in gloom, defeated, beaten, always restless, never satisfied, never…
– Source: Being God Damned (in Hell)
So, on the basis of that: no matter how nice you are as a person, no matter how loving you are… there will be no human in Heaven who did not sincerely…
1) Come humbly to Jesus;
2) Repent of their sins;
3) and Follow Jesus.
“Faith without works is dead.”
– James 2:14-26

The world of illusion of some churchgoers
Some who “are among us” (but not a part of us? – 1 John 2:18-19) have developed an attitude John warned against: many cannot accept the biblical teaching that God is so, so, very, very much against sin.
In fact, the truth is that God is so, so, very very much opposed to any wrongdoing — that He died on a cross to be able to forgive us for our wrongdoing! (John 3:11-21)
– 1 John 1:9-10 PHILLIPS
“If we refuse to admit that we are sinners, then we live in a world of illusion —- and truth becomes a stranger to us.
But if we freely admit that we have sinned, we find God utterly reliable and straightforward—he forgives our sins and makes us thoroughly clean from all that is evil.
For if we take up the attitude “we have not sinned”, we flatly deny God’s diagnosis of our condition and cut ourselves off from what he has to say to us.”
God is so, so, very, very much against sin.
John, the disciple of Jesus, clearly points out that we each must be “truly born again and spiritually transformed” — or we will never enter God’s Eternal Kingdom. Without this, we won’t even see the entrance (the Pearly Gates), much less be granted entrance.
1 John 2:18-19
18 Children, it is the last hour [the end of this age]; and just as you heard that the antichrist is coming [the one who will oppose Christ and attempt to replace Him], even now many antichrists (false teachers) have appeared, which confirms our belief that it is the last hour.
19 They went out from us [seeming at first to be Christians], but they were not really of us [because they were not truly born again and spiritually transformed]; for if they had been of us, they would have remained with us; but they went out [teaching false doctrine], so that it would be clearly shown that none of them are of us.
[seeming at first to be Christians],
but they were not really of us”
Nice people – but unrepentant
No matter how nice you or your friends may be (in your own estimation or that of other mere humans), without Christ you are still on the road that leads to destruction. Feeling Lucky? Actually there’s no luck involved. Jesus is a sure thing. Don’t just be “nice”, be repentant and turn to Jesus. Turn away from your sin.
To be saved, is to be forgiven. To be forgiven, is to be accepted into God’s Kingdom, made an heir with Jesus (Galatians 4:7), a true child of God.
To get forgiven… you must believe in the Lord Jesus Christ—and follow Him.
Do you believe in Napoleon?
Do you believe Napoleon lived? If you believe Napoleon Bonaparte lived, then, by logic, you must believe that Jesus Christ lived. There is more historical evidence to prove the existence and life time of Jesus — than there is that Napoleon ever lived! So what do you think of that?
For me, “Jesus proofs” are so incontrovertible, so historically accurate, SO convincing… that I have given-over my life to Him. Jesus lives today and is coming again to receive His followers up into His Kingdom.
Are you ready for that? Are you ready to meet your Maker?

The parable of Jesus
The tare and the wheat grow side-by-side in the field, just as wannabee “christians” sit in the same pews as the truly born again.
Matthew 13:24-30
“…30 Let them grow together until the harvest; and at harvest time I will tell the reapers, “First gather the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; but gather the wheat into my barn.”’”
Luke 13:22-30 PHILLIPS
“And Jesus told them, “You must do your utmost to get in through the narrow door,
for many, I assure you, will try to do so and will not succeed, once the master of the house has got up and shut the door.
Then you may find yourselves standing outside and knocking at the door crying, ‘Lord, please open the door for us.’
He will reply to you, ‘I don’t know who you are or where you come from.’
‘But …’ you will protest, ‘we have had meals with you, and you taught in our streets!’ Yet he will say to you, ‘I tell you I do not know where you have come from. Be off, you scoundrels!’”
“I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. 10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came so that they would have life, and [a]have it abundantly. – John 10:7-10.
