PIC: What Does The Gospel Promise Us? By FITL
Adapted from: What Smacks of Falseness in Charismania
What smacks of falseness
Falseness in Charismatic circles is why I reject the practices and doctrines that they have corrupted added – taken out. Where do I start? Let me count the ways.
These are “falseness indicators”
– Damning Ways NAR-type Faith Fails –
Want to fail with God?
1. Making God speak. Claiming God’s Words are your words — 2 Peter 1:20-21
2. Claiming God speaks directly to them — The controversy of God speaking to you directly
3. Misrepresenting God. Using your words as God’s Words…equating yours with God’s
3. Prophecying and special words of knowledge.
4. Creating doctrines that are false.
See: Examples of false doctrines and Show me actual false teachings
4. Dictatorial, authoritarian leaders contrary to Scripture.
5. Falsely claiming dreams and visions — They in fact have seen nothing
6. Claiming the future-telling prophetic gift, yet being wrong — When your prophet is wrong
7. Following Doctrines of demons as Scripture warns about.
8. Kundalini Hindu mysticism in Charismatic churches
9. Caught-up with a practice God has said not to practice
10. Negating Old Testament proscriptions: “I am against you”, God says
11. Offending God: This is God speaking (satire)
12. Falsely using false miracles: Getting Into The Miraculous – 2 Timothy 4:3
* These following “falseness indicators” are derived by looking at 1 Timothy 4:1-2.

These are “falseness indicators”
13. a – We are in “later times”, what Jesus called “the end”. And, lo and behold… the NAR-Charismatic movement has prolifereated greatly in these “later times” of today, as predicted. Paul was prophecying the future birth and surge of the NAR. And here they are, millions following the false NAR practices. Lo and behold! – Source: Weird unBiblical NAR beliefs
14. b – Many have turned (“turn from – turn to“), strayed away from biblical faith to NAR false teachers. – Source: Weird unBiblical NAR beliefs
15. c – NAR-type faith is not the Gospel faith Jesus and His disciples taught. They are “away from the faith”. – Source: Weird unBiblical NAR beliefs
16. d – NAR-types do not pay attention to Bible teachings. “Instead” they listen to false teachers. – Source: Weird unBiblical NAR beliefs
17. e – NAR-types have been inundated by “deceitful and seductive spirits” 1 Timothy 4:1. Many false prophets and teachers have gone out into the world. – Source: Weird unBiblical NAR beliefs
18. f – NAR-types are “self-proclaimed”, not from God – actually led by doctrines of demons. “Test” them. – Source: Weird unBiblical NAR beliefs
“Beloved, do not believe every spirit [speaking through a self-proclaimed prophet]; instead test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets and teachers have gone out into the world.”
– 1 John 4:1
More “falseness indicators” derived by looking at 1 Timothy 4:1-2.
19. g – NAR-types are misled… As Teachers of the Faith – Unqualified and Worthless verse 2.

20. h – NAR-types are hypocritical liars verse 2.

21. i – NAR-types are not normal. They have consciences seared as with a branding iron verse 2.

22. j – NAR-types have been rendered “incapable of ethical functioning” verse 2.

These are “falseness indicators”
23. Ones who are not “of us”
1 John 2:19 “They went out from us [seeming at first to be Christians], but they were not really of us [because they were not truly born again and spiritually transformed]; for if they had been of us, they would have remained with us; but they went out [teaching false doctrine], so that it would be clearly shown that none of them are of us. – Source: How a tare thinks
24. So-called Christians, but not real… just wannabees – Source: How a tare thinks
25. Apostate church leaders:
ravenous wolfs teaching their own earth-fabricated system of belief instead of staying faithful to the God-made system of justice — what God established, what He shares with us in the Bible (1 Timothy 1:3b-4). – Source: Fight the good fight
27. Ones who say “Lord, Lord” but …”who act wickedly [disregarding My commands]” – Matthew 7:21-23 – Source: How a tare thinks
28. The sons of this age [the non-believers], shrewd in “the ways of the secular world” – Luke 16:8-11 – Source: How a tare thinks
29. Ones who have “not been faithful in the use of earthly wealth” – Verses 10-11 of Luke 16:8-11 – Source: How a tare thinks
30. “He who is dishonest in a very little thing” (“is also dishonest in much”) – Verses 10-11 of Luke 16:8-11 – Source: How a tare thinks
For the tares who follow Charismania 1 John 2:19 there will come a day when they finally hear the Lord say Matthew 7:15-27 to them… ‘I do not know where you are from [for you are not of My household].’ Very scary. Very tragic.
Luke 13:25
“Once the head of the house gets up and closes the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock on the door [again and again], saying, ‘Lord, open to us!’ then He will answer you, ‘I do not know where you are from [for you are not of My household].’

- utilize “trickery of men”
- create deceitful scheming
- are counterfeit apostles
- are deceitful workers
- masquerade as apostles of Christ
- masquerade as servants of righteousness.

Counterfeit spirit of God…Copycats. Excerpt: Counterfeit Christianity is growing. Do you know the Bible well enough to spot a counterfeit church? Are you into one – yourself?
The Bible warns of “seducing spirits” within the church “in later times“. It warns about those church leaders who teach and delve into non-biblical practices.
Beware of fake charismatic churches and pastors who follow a counterfeit spirit of god – those who teach extra-biblical experiences,

The Dangers of Consorting With Error
Are you “contrary” – not conforming to the Gospel?
Imagine insincere “followers” walking the streets of gold Excerpt:
What if God’s very specific standards were merely “whatever” …and we all arrived in Heaven from faiths of “Anything goes” – any “Whatever faith”. I suppose that then there would definitely be ghettos in Heaven.
But God is holy and just, without sin. So, with that innate nature, how could God allow sin into His Holy Home Heaven?
Rev 2:2
‘I know [a]your deeds and your toil, and your patient endurance, and that you cannot tolerate those who are evil, and have tested and critically appraised those who call themselves apostles (special messengers, personally chosen representatives, of Christ), and [in fact] are not, and have found them to be liars and impostors”

“By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error” – 1 John 4:1-6 Excerpt: Simple test: “The one who knows God listens to us; the one who is not from God does not listen to us.” (v6)
6 We are from God.
The one who knows God
listens to us;
the one who is not from God
does not listen to us.
By this
we know the spirit of truth
and the spirit of error.

Jesus’ Way that truly works versus the false way of NAR-Charismatics that does not work whatsoever Excerpt: A Way that works
There is no “way” like “a way that works“, you know? Don’t you hate it when you’re sold something that doesn’t work? Or, it doesn’t get you where you want to go?
Jesus claimed to be “the Way“. And it works! And now there are tons of religions and cults that have made their own claims about what works…to get to God. But they don’t work! (“Work” …as in – actually get you to Heaven.) Copycats. Counterfeiters.
Will you be turned away by Jesus?
Not from God
“You are not of God”, Jesus said
What if? God looks inside your soul and says “I am not your Lord”
