The Allegory of King Him (an allegory)
King Him was of another realm. Him was a most powerful feudal ruler of the vast Kingdom of Him. Back in the day, Him sent out ambassadors far and wide. Him messengers represented Him in many realms.
Misrepresenting Him
King Him became extremely angry with some who called themselves Him messengers – because they misrepresented Him. They came under condemnation because they did not use the exact words of Him in their messages. Instead they used their own words, contrary to Him’s instructions.
Messengers of Him were not condemned for being members of any sect, but because they disobeyed the clear instructions of Him. There was a minor confusion because some messengers were of Ancient Cessationism and others of Modern Continuationism. But that was a minor thing, actually.
The real issue at hand
The real issue was misrepresenting Him. King Him was against those who misrepresented Him, making-up words that He had not said to them. They claimed to speak words for Him, but merely spoke their own words about what they thought Him would want.
King Him, back in the more primitive days of OT, had even issued a statement against misrepresenting Him. But false representatives claimed new instructions (from Him) which now allowed them to disregard the statements of Him made back in the days of OT.
So King Him was incensed that the Kingdom of Him ambassadors led people astray with their own words instead of standing firm with the words of Him. So he had their heads.

NAR-type Charismatic Churches are rife with supposed ambassadors for Christ (2 Corinthians 5:20). But instead of faithfully following the words of God — they misrepresent Christ.
Why God is against NAR-type Charismatics
20…no prophecy of Scripture is of private interpretation. 21 For no prophecy ever came by the will of man: but holy men of God spoke, being moved by the Holy Spirit.

Reasons God condemns the NAR
Misrepresentation of God
I tend to think that God could have issued an 11th Commandment along the lines of: Thou shalt not misrepresent Me in any way. The truth is: We must not. To misrepresent God is to be like the ambassadors of King Him!
Misrepresenting anyone is a heinous act. Imagine God’s take on it! Here on earth, you go to jail for misrepresenting a policeman. It is no small infraction. Do you know what God has said about misrepresenting Him? It is no small infraction to Him either.
You cannot lawfully go to a foreign government and represent the United States of America unless you are an official USA Ambassador. And even then, Ambassadors cannot push their own agendas, using their imagination to speak their own thoughts on behalf of the President.
USA ambassadors serve “at the pleasure of the President”. Ambassadors push official policies given to them by the government. Otherwise the President is against them for having misspoken.
We are His ambassadors on earth. God has warned us (Ezekiel 13:8) that He is against those who have misspoken for Him. “I am against you”, God said. That is called: to misrepresent Him.
Another example: If I say “I may go to town later today” – you misrepresent my words if you tell someone “He will be there. He said he is going downtown around 4pm”. (You left out “may” and said with assurance “He will go”. That is misleading and untrue.) You are pushing your own agenda.
Reasons God condemns the NAR
Practicing “lawlessness”…What it is: not obeying God’s written Word
If we do not obey God’s expressed will – then we are being “lawless” before God. Misrepresenting God is a practice Jesus called “lawlessness”.
Jesus Himself condemned this sin in the most frightening passage in the Bible: ‘you who practice lawlessness.’
21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. 22 Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many [d – works of power]miracles?’
23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; leave Me, you who practice lawlessness.’
– Verses 21-23 of Matthew 7:15-23
There is nothing “lawless” about true prophecy, true exorcism, or performing true miracles. Right? So it dawned on me as I re-read the passage:
So why will Jesus condemn those who do these things of God as stated in Matthew 7:15-23?
It dawned on me again: Jesus is foretelling the false practices of NAR-type Charismatics! Who else does all that he describes? …prophecy, exorcism, or performing of miracles? The evangelicals do not. The ones who do this in these End Times? …are mainly the pagan “Christians” of the NAR.
Jeremy Sanders wrote about it in his well-written four part series, Wandering Stars. The Paganism of Bethel, Hillsong, and the NAR pt 1. Also see: pt 2, pt 3, pt 4. It’s worth the read, I guarantee you.
Reasons God condemns the NAR
Not submitting
They are not submitting to His will, so He declares that He is not their “Lord”. He knows their heart. He says they are not truly His followers. They do NOT submit to “the will of My Father who is in heaven”.
Jesus knew about the great apostasy of the end days. He knew about the apostate NAR movement before they ever started. Paul foretold “the great rebellion” of these apostates, saying that they would abandon the faith:
3 Let no one in any way deceive or entrap you, for that day will not come unless the [c]apostasy comes first [that is, the great rebellion, the abandonment of the faith by professed Christians]….” – Verse 3 of 2 Thessalonians 2:1-3
See: First, Apostasy, then Antichrist, then the Rapture.
He knew about their falseness: the pewsitter, the apostle, the prophet, the false teacher… who would misrepresent Him. They claim to hear God speak, but they in fact have seen nothing. That sounds like disobedience to me.
Reasons God condemns the NAR
Practicing Sin …”misrepresenting” springs from many sins
To you who attend some NAR-type church: Do you really think you are following Christ when practicing what He is against?
Are you misrepresenting our most Holy God? That is extremely prideful, supercilious MirWeb “coolly and patronizingly haughty, arrogant, stiff-necked, presumptuous“. The first sin ever in the universe was pride, becoming “puffed up with conceit”. This is a most serious defiance towards God.
See: GotQuestions.org site search for “pride of Satan“.
See verses in one link or: Isaiah 14:12-15, Isaiah 14:13-14, Ezekiel 28:15, 1 Timothy 3:6.
Pride is serious. This act of “misrepresenting God” puts you, whether the pewsitter, the apostle, the prophet, or the false teacher… in a category of most high heinous act. It is vile to Jesus to presume you know the mind of God… and thus speak your own words as if they were His.
It is deeply injurious to God for anyone to dare say they are giving a new revelation from God – and then simply state what they think God maybe wanted to say. God said to these audacious people in the OT (Old Testament) “I am against you“. And that still stands today. God is saying today, through the Old Testament prophets — “I am against you”.
If we want our way of thinking to be permeated by God’s way of thinking, then it behooves us to read the Bible and know it well. Then our ways will be His Ways – His ways of thinking will be our ways of thinking.

See: What happens when you do not know what the Bible says on a matter?
If you misrepresent God by making God speak — pushing your own agenda instead of declaring God’s actual words, then God is against you.
See satire: This is God speaking (a satire) and same topic God Speaking (not a satire).
Any single one of the following Charismatic Sinful Practices, by itself, is enough to indicate God has not saved you and His Spirit is not in you. Wow. That is serious.
If you practice what God has forbidden, then, God says: “I am against you.” You are “practicing sin“. Here’s a short list.
NAR-type Charismatic Sinful Practices
NAR Sinful Practices
1. You claim God’s mind. You claim to know God’s mind. You speak your own words and say they are God’s Words. This is lying, “self-serving guile” (James 3:17). This is done in all NAR-type churches every Sunday and often when they meet in homes.
This NAR sin is misrepresenting God. Such NAR-types are “practicing sin” in their weekly meetings — the sin of misrepresenting God. And God condemns that. There is no “special” allowance which gives you the freedom to make God speak what you want Him to say.
Actual true example from my college days:
The humble pew-sitter turns to the college student and says, “God has told me that you should leave Simpson Bible College, and go to Hayward State.”
What?… you just said? What what what? Those are your words and thoughts. They are not God’s Words revealed to you. So you are lying when you say, “God has told me….”
Sure you earnestly sought the Lord in the matter. Surely you listened for Him for a revelation about this matter. But… you ended-up imagining this to be what God wanted. So you said it in your own words, “God has told me….”
_________
NAR-type church members claim the Holy Spirit enables them to know God’s thinking. They contend that they are so full of the Spirit, and thus His Spirit gives them access to His thinking, and so they can communicate His words to others.
They propose to have a gift of prophecy, or gift of encouragement, or word of faith – which enables them to speak forth a word from God. The problem is they do not follow OT parameters for speaking the Words of God. (They actually have negated any OT parameters!)
“You cannot harbor what you may call “special” sin, and just give Jesus bits and pieces of your soul. Won’t work! He demands all your heart be given to Him. We will never bring God into “conformity with [our] will and purpose.” He is asking us to conform to His Way.”

See: | Practicing Sin, Not Following Christ | Refuse to admit your sin |
They misrepresent God. They speak what they imagine are God’s Words… but merely say their own words. The OT standard is to speak the exact words of God.

God uses our conscience
We know a lot. And our conscience is built-in by God, so we innately know a lot. True. 1
The mind of Father God
But we do not know the mind of Father God – so as to be able to speak forth His words in our own words. If you say you were given “a word from the Lord” – then you must speak exactly His Words. Or else you misrepresent the Father by using what you imagine are His Words.
It’s like: If King Him said “this” then you must quote King Him as saying exactly “this”. Or Him will have your head!
We should interpret 1 Corinthians 2:15-16 with Romans 11:33-36. We “have the mind of Christ” revealed to us in the New Testament, but we do not have “the mind of the Lord“, Father of all.
15 But the one who is spiritual discerns all things, yet he himself is [a]discerned by no one. 16 For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he will instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ.
– 1 Corinthians 2:15-16 NASB
33 Oh, the depth of the riches, [l]both of the wisdom and knowledge of God!
How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His ways!
34 For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who became His counselor?
35 Or who has first given to Him, [m]that it would be paid back to him? 36 For from Him, and through Him, and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory [n]forever. Amen.
– Romans 11:33-36 NASB
Quote Scripture
Quote the Word of God in Scripture. But don’t quote God from some supposed “word” you make up in your mind. When you share Scripture — you share the mind of Christ. But if you claim a new revelation from God, you sure as Heaven better quote Him verbatim “word for word”, or you misrepresent God.
Mirriam-Webster for verbatim
“Get Wordy With Verbatim
Latin has a phrase for “exactly as written”: verbatim ac litteratim, which literally means “word for word and letter for letter.” Like the verbatim in that Latin phrase, the English verbatim means “word for word.” As you may have noticed, there’s a verb in verbatim—and that’s no mere coincidence. Both verb and verbatim are derived from the Latin word for “word,” which is verbum.
Other common English words that share this root include adverb, proverb, and verbose. Even the word word itself is related. Verbatim can also be an adjective meaning “being in or following the exact words” (as in “a verbatim report”) and a rarer noun referring to an account, translation, or report that follows the original word for word.”
NAR Sinful Practices
2. You claim special knowledge. You tell the folks that God has given you special knowledge, spoken special words to you about the future — when He actually did not. We know He did not – because then your prophecy turns up wrong!
Examples:
| Sorry, not sorry: Why the NAR prophets’ apologies for getting things wrong don’t cut it | by Holly Pivec | Reporting on the Rise of ‘Reckless Christianity’: Responding biblically to the worldwide prophets and apostles movement taking over churches |
| When your prophet is wrong |
| Examples of false doctrines |
If it truly is from God — then future-telling, predicting the future, will never be wrong. God is never wrong. Never. If your prediction is wrong, you are a false prophet — right there on the spot. And God is against you. No church should ever use you again as “a prophet”.
NAR Sinful Practices
3. You practice disobedience. You are disobedient to God’s stated will and instruction. God has said “this…” but you say “that”. You reject His Word and practice “that” anyway, in direct conflict with what God has said. Paul warned about this here:
“3 But I am afraid that, as the serpent deceived Eve by his trickery, your minds will be led astray from sincere and pure devotion to Christ. 4 For if [a]one comes and preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted, this you tolerate very well!…”
– Verses 3-4 of 2 Corinthians 11:3-6
This is done by all NAR-type Charismatic churches. Instead of taking God at His Word (in the NT or OT) – they come up with some false doctrines, many of which came to them supposedly in a new revelation — revealed only to them, nobody else. Imagine that! How convenient. Yet they negate the written Word of God in the Old Testament.
Unbelievable! How on earth would someone disallow what God clearly said in the OT, just because it is in the OT? (NAR-type prophets officially misinterpret the New Covenant to mean that the OT is replaced by Christ’s new covenant now that we are in New Testament days.) You have been “led astray from sincere and pure devotion to Christ“.
NAR Sinful Practices
4. You rebel against God. Disobeying His written Word, you are in rebellion against God – preferring to think your way instead of submitting to God’s way. God is intolerant when it comes to being unfaithful to Him. He is “intolerant of unfaithfulness”.
Deuteronomy 4:24
For the Lord your God
is a consuming fire;
He is a jealous God
(impassioned)
[a intolerant of unfaithfulness]
[demanding what is rightfully and uniquely His].
BibleGateway Footnotes:
Deuteronomy 4:24 I.e.
[a] intolerant of unfaithfulness.
NAR Sinful Practices
5. You claim God spoke, but you speak falsehood.
According to Ezekiel 13:1-9, the Lord has not sent false leaders into churches. On the contrary these false talkers are sinning against God. He is actually totally against NAR-types. Their practices are sinful.
Excerpt from They in fact have seen nothing

- are claiming to have seen things
- have [in fact] seen nothing
- see falsehood and lying divination
- hope for the fulfillment of their word

- speak a lying “divination” (hidden knowledge they purport to have been told by God)
- said, “‘The Lord declares,’ but it is not I who have spoken”
- spoken falsehood

________
Conclusion
I wish it were not true, but there are certain practices God has forbidden for Christians. God is “intolerant of unfaithfulness” (Deuteronomy 4:24). I wish it were not true, but NAR-types are totally into forbidden practices.
See: Calling Out False Teachers.
Why? Why add practices known in Scripture as forbidden? I don’t really know. I think it’s partly because of misunderstanding God. If we are rebellious and unrepentant in our heart, we can miss the fact that God is not pleased….
Excerpt from Misunderstanding God:
For some strange reason I am constantly amazed by the confident bravado of unrepentant so-called “Christians”. But, why am I surprised? “Unrepentant” is bold rebellion, vain conceit, and unbowing willfulness….
Choosing Jesus – over my sin,
is dimensionally far from
choosing excuses
and staying with my sin.
“You either is, or you ain’t. And what you ain’t – ain’t what you is.” And we need to realize that God is unequivocally MirWebster set on His Ways. “You ain’t saved if you ain’t followin’ Jesus’ Way.”
…God Himself is mysterious. But His saving Gospel, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, is specific and …sure as Hell. How you get accepted by Creator God to enter His Kingdom — His “salvation”, is nonambiguous, crystal clear.
You must be born again – and follow Jesus with all that you are. You cannot be ambiguous about following Him!
– Source: Misunderstanding God
If our Christian practice includes what is forbidden by God, then we “practice sin”. We are warned that those who practice sin – “will not inherit the kingdom of God” (Verse 21 of Galatians 5:16-21). Are you all that? Have you lost your soul by misrepresenting God? Can you see it now?
“those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.”
If more obviously unbiblical
It would perhaps be easier to see our heresy if we practiced something more obviously unbiblical, like if we:
– sing glory in the highest to some foreign god
– give homage in our worship to the Antichrist
– get “slain in the spirit” – of another spirit – not The Spirit
– bow and scrape on the floor to an idol or two next to our pulpit
– included gleefully unrepentant sinners at our communion table
– having “glory prostitutes” in our fellowship hall – like the temple of Aphrodite did in Corinth, and many others
It’s like some folks purposely misquote Scripture – to legitimize what they really want to do!
* Like… what Pete Buttigieg did (April/2019). See: Misunderstanding God
“Buttigieg has himself regularly mentioned how he balances Scripture with his choice of being actively gay sexually. He says he has a Christian faith. And he says that he balances-out his faith with his practice of homosexual living.”
Apparently, like many in the LGBTQ, he’s got it all figured-out. He is ready to meet His Maker. He will get to the Pearly Gates and tell Creator God how God’s Heaven is going to be – now that he, Buttigieg, has arrived!
“It can be challenging to be a person of faith who’s also part of the LGBTQ community and yet, to me, the core of faith is regard for one another,” the candidate said at a CNN town hall on Monday. “And part of God’s love is experienced, according to my faith tradition, is in the way that we support one another and, in particular, support the least among us.” – from the Washington Post; By Kyle Swenson;
To Buttigieg, “the core of faith is regard for one another”. That is his “faith tradition”. The core of it: having a regard for what others are. Umm, and, uh, what about having a regard for what our Creator is? Wouldn’t the core of being “Christian” – be: following Christ – the C-h-r-i-s-t of C-h-r-i-s-t-i-a-n ? I think one should be a little more Christian than just pleasing others.

Satire with Falsehood…tongue-in-cheek
The world, the media, and the NAR all mix-up twisted Bible with outright lies. If you want to be like Buttigieg and the countless other ungodly who mix sin with some not-so-real Bible rationales, (ie mix sin with fake truth… with lies) try this, like:
* Like… maybe start new practices with a twisted reading of Romans 6:1-2, 15: (this is a twisted message)
1-2 What shall we say [to all this]? Should we continue in sin and practice sin as a habit so that [God’s gift of] [a]grace may increase and overflow? 2 Certainly….“ (leaving out the “2 Certainly not!”)
15: What then [are we to conclude]? Shall we sin because we are not under Law, but under [God’s] grace? Certainly…! (leaving out the “not!”).
Compare THAT with the real passage of Romans 6:1-2, 15.
* Like… maybe try refining passages a bit so they fit our lifestyle? Like: (this also is a twisted message)
12 Therefore …let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its lusts and passions. 13 …go on offering members of your body to sin as instruments of wickedness.” And add: 1-2 “…continue in sin and practice sin as a habit so that [God’s gift of] [a]grace may increase and overflow? 2 Certainly….” (leaving out the “2 Certainly not!”)
Compare THAT with the real passage of Romans 6:12-13, 15 – and Romans 6:verses 1-2.
Those are actually some basic assertions by those outside the sheep fold. Jesus is not their Shepherd!
The ungodly NAR is like the ungodly Temple prostitutes mentioned by Paul. Oh the sweet dividends from Adonitis Temple prostitutes. But that evil stock market will crash and land you in Hell with Satan forever.
Follow the Bible
If we stick to Scripture, the real thing… then we will avoid forbidden practices that are in direct disobedience to God’s written Word. God has told us all we need to know. We know because this is found in the Bible:
17 But the wisdom from above is first pure [morally and spiritually undefiled], then peace-loving [courteous, considerate], gentle, reasonable [and willing to listen], full of compassion and good fruits. It is unwavering, without [self-righteous] hypocrisy [and self-serving guile]. – James 3:17
The very first thing about wisdom is — it is pure, “morally and spiritually undefiled“. And here is where many Christians go wrong and are “misrepresenting God”. Then they proceed ahead with a “self-righteous hypocrisy”, and “self-serving guile“. And they lose it.
Think about it.
Have you pondered the ramifications, the deadly fallout – of claiming to speak for God, but when you speak, you know deep down inside that they are merely your words?

Do you want to be totally biblical inside your soul?
“Interesting, learning about bias from a news outlet. I spotted this byline which Israel365News promotes:
“Israel365News offers a fresh and Biblical perspective on the latest news from Israel and the Middle East. Our bias is not liberal nor conservative – just Biblical.“

Maybe we all, us Christians, should always offer “a fresh and Biblical perspective on the latest”… anything. You think? Being “liberal” or “conservative” can distort our real aim. Christians are not either! I want to be labeled: Biblical.”

It’s still not too late to return to “what you heard from the beginning“. There is hope in Jesus! (1 Peter 1:3-7)

which you heard from the beginning.
If what you heard
from the beginning
remains in you,
you too will remain in the Son
