There are plenty of sins to go around. And it is so easy to condemn others. But we grieve God when we condemn a sinner. So, what’s a better way to go?
What is necessary to be saved
Folks! You can NOT fake it with God. He knows your heart. Faking = Still lost. You can talk like/smell like/pray like/look like/act like/dress like/preach like/give money like/claim church membership like/go to church like… but if your heart is not genuinely His, “with all your heart…”, then you are not saved. You are a God damned “believer”. ‘You must be born again.’
Make judgements all day long
The message of the Bible is: Don’t do the business of a judge. Forgive “offenders” – and leave it to God to be the Judge of the Universe on that ominous Day of Judgement. Be the love of your little universe. But we are we are commanded to make judgements. Pick a sin – any sin – and discern where you are at. Judge yourself all day long.
Our put down, slap down ways
Take today’s challenge: Try “loving” again. Why judge and criticize and condemn? Quit the quick and harsh attitude.
