Are you seeking to justify your thinking before your end day? God told us clearly what is good, and what is not. Are you listening?
Run with endurance and active persistence the race that is set before us
“run with endurance and active persistence the race that is set before us” – Hebrews 12:1 All the runners run There are many ways to run a race. We can run to win, or we can unconsciously run to lose. Are you winning in your race? “seize the prize and make it yours!” The Christian […]
Acting with your heart, soul, strength, and with your mind
Is your life lived while set on God’s will, His values and His purposes? Or do you just “let it be” and live as it happens?
The secret of facing both plenty and hunger, abundance and need
Are you going through difficult times today? The Apostle Paul went through just about anything and everything that life could throw at him. And he came out of each one – stronger. Through all the trials and testing, he came out the other end of it and said, “I have learned the secret…” of how […]
“The God to whom I belong and whom I worship”
What kind of “god” are you now given-over to? You liken’ it? I absolutely vouch for Jesus!
Like gold dust streaming from my heart
God produces gold dust in us to touch others. Got gold!?
Good policies vs. Bad policies
At the end of his article, gently pointing out the error of his friend’s advice (John Piper), Wayne Grudem outlines two very contrasting lists of what will happen as a result of this election on November 3, 2020 — with Trump winning or with Biden winning. Very interesting. The results will be dramatically different. “Birds […]
A no vote for either side – gives away your chance to choose with love
With the most impacting voting opportunity EVER in history, the highly respected John Piper said basically: do not vote for either side. What?!
Presidential Election
How do you decide who to vote for, what to vote for – in these end times?
Voting while set on God’s will, His values and His purposes
Quite a thorny issue, voting. Back when this article was written (Oct 27, 2020) the issues were similar to the ones for the 2024 elections. It is extremely important to vote wisely. As a true follower of Jesus – I innately desire God’s will, His values and His purposes in all I do. Are you there?
Mutual conversation
Good talk is fun! Put simply: It involves your mouth voicing words with your brain full on, your heart tuned to “nice“, and another talker involved – some listening ear understanding you, involved mutually in the conversation. If there is no understanding – then there is no communication. If it’s not mutual, then there is […]
My Happy
I can always find something to make me unhappy. Never failed me yet – this unhappy thing. As they say, “If it’s not one thing, it’s another.” It can always make me unhappy.
Hating is life changing – eternal life changing. Scary thought.
It’s a scary thing to habitually hate. In 1 John 3:14 we read, “He who does not love remains in [spiritual] death.” Also 1 John 4:20 says we can’t love God if we hate our brother. Do you think you can enter Heaven — if you don’t love God?
How then should we live now… believing the Rapture is just around the corner?
The Rapture is coming! In my heart I am leaping with joy! So now what? How should we go about with living our daily life — now that we believe the Rapture is just around the corner?
Are you one of the 18 percenters?
What is the “worldview” of Jesus, according to the Bible? Is Jesus’ worldview your worldview?
Following Jesus is not fascism
Jesus was not a fascist, and neither are His followers. Of course some fakes, the fake faith so-called Christian types may be whatever catches their fancy, but not any genuine Christian (absolutely none). Christian theology and practice in America today is somewhere very far from the fascism spectrum. This should be obvious to the world, […]
Is Jesus’ worldview your worldview?
Jesus shared His worldview throughout the entire Bible. So we know what Jesus believes. Then the question must be asked: Is Jesus’ worldview actually your worldview?
Fearing God with awe-filled reverence
For those of us who have a heart 100% given-over to Jesus – it is natural to “fear” God, in the sense of: we have a heart full of “awe-filled reverence”. How we speak to others should be filled with respect and awe of God. You seeing that in you?
Snatched by God
The word Rapture means “to snatch up or seize” unexpectedly. In Old Testament times two individuals were seized by God, or “snatched up”. Both Enoch (Genesis 5:24) and Elijah (2 Kings 2) were walking along one day and – suddenly they were gone, snatched-up by God! So we know it is not unprecedented. God will do it again. Jesus, and the Apostle Paul, and several others (Luke 21:36) – have prophecied that a “Rapture” will take place in the End Times.
What’s living rent-free inside your head?
There’s a whole bunch of ornery characters taking up space inside ya’lls head. Are you feeding them?
Works of the flesh
Galatians 5:19-21 Now the practices of the sinful nature are clearly evident: they are sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality (total irresponsibility, lack of self-control), idolatry, sorcery, hostility, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions [that promote heresies], envy, drunkenness, riotous behavior, and other things like these. I warn you beforehand, just as I did previously, […]
He who raised the Lord Jesus will also raise us with Jesus
If we keep our eyes on Jesus, we have nothing to fear because He goes before us. I fear no evil because He is with me.
Why “not kneeling” is the correct Christian response, this time
You don’t always want to kneel – just because “the whole world” is kneeling, not now at stadiums during the singing of our national anthem — and certainly NOT when the Antichrist is asking you to kneel during The Great Tribulation (which is coming to the entire planet sooner than you think). Nowadays there’s a […]
God hates divorce but does He allow it anyway?
Someone recently said to me: “Evangelicals must make the biblical case against divorce. God Hates Divorce.” Agreed. The preferred sentiment is to always err on the side of preserving the sanctity of marriage. Divorce, in the case of adultery, is God’s permissive will – not an obligation or mandate. If one can find the inner […]
Voting Dichotomously
Are you living a dichotomous life… serving two masters?
Trophimus I left sick at Miletus
Sometimes we get sick. And sometimes prayer, as earnest as you can be, leaves us not-healed. What’s with that?
Pleasure and bad behaviors we love to fall for
We love simple pleasures. Don’t we? Life is good. God is good. The problem with pleasure is: Not all pleasure is of God. Jesus said we need to clean our insides – so that our outsides can then live-out worthy behavior. Pick a sin – any sin – and discern where you are at. Judge yourself all day long. Romans 12:2.
We are pressured in every way, but not crushed
Even the normal Christian life is full of uncomfortableness. We must, as believers, maintain hope in Christ and not shipwreck our faith. Be strong in Christ.
I would rather stand with God and be judged by the world. Yes!
I really liked this comment by Robert Burns – a good little twist of words on J.D. Farag‘s YouTube: What the future holds: (Read comments at end of this article. I have copied some to the FOR MORE section below.) robert burns 1 month ago: I would rather stand with God and be judged […]
This is natural for us so put it on
Because the true believer is enabled by God through the Holy Spirit (He resides in all who are born again) there is a lot of what is “natural” to us now. But we must “put it on” (verse 12 of Colossians 3:12-17).
