After it’s all said and done: Where in the universe will you be going? Are you following Christ 100%? Habitual sin separates from God. What you got?
Understanding “wrong”
Do you understand the severity of being wrong when you stand before the Judge of Eternity? We know what Jesus believes. Do you agree with Him?
Getting to Heaven is not a religious thing
I am frightened by the standard set by God for entrance into His Kingdom, into His Family. “Few there be that find it…” Matthew 7:13-14. It is no small thing to be forgiven by God, accepted by God, made a child of God, to finally become a member of God’s family. Salvation by Almighty God is done by Him as we give Him our all. It’s all or nothing. If we do not respond by a life given-over completely to Him, then we are fooling ourselves. We are still damned all to Hell. Bummer of bummers.
What God Wants
Have you given any thought as to what God wants? What does God want from you? We are each unique creatures birthed into flesh by God. Life happens to us in seemingly capricious episodes of contrasting good and evil. Is your faith a true faith, a saving faith characterized by giving Jesus your love with “all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength”? That is what God wants. Don’t deny Jesus by your deeds.
Being faithful, little by little
Faithfulness is a process. We live, we try, we fail, we sin – but the faithful then repent, turn to God again, and move on in faith. The faithful are little-by-little-faithful. No person on earth is totally faithful to God all at once. They are not sinless. They are not saved in the end because they sinned less than “the other guy”. Does the way you live – show that you “love the Lord your God with all your heart”? Is your heart on the altar – 100%? Or is your heart cracked?
