Do you claim to be “a person of faith”? There are many types out there! What faith do you claim as yours?
People follow way different “faiths”. Is your faith type following Jesus and what He taught? Is it truly yours? What makes you think that your type of “faith” is acceptable by Jesus? It’s certainly worth testing it. Eternally worth it!
There are seemingly endless faith types out there: NAR Christians, Mormons, Jehovah Witnesses, Allah, Krishna, Buddha… and on and on they go. The idea that they all end up in the same Holy Kingdom is irrational and stupididiotic! How could all these contradicting beliefs refer to one God? That is illogical.
And if your faith is contradicting Jesus — well then, that sounds like you are following something other than Jesus!
Really want to entrust your eternal soul to THAT?
The Natural vs The Born Again
Jesus was different from all others “of faith”. He offers new birth. His offer is diametrically in misalignment with plain “religion”. I choose to be in misalignment with the ways of the world!
Jesus was absolutely adamant about what we can do naturally in the flesh. He said there is a huge difference between:
* Being a natural human, through natural birth (through the waters of the birth canal – vs5)
as contrasted with
* Being a born again human, through spiritual new birth (by the Holy Spirit)
5 Jesus answered, “I assure you and most solemnly say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot [ever] enter the kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh [the physical is merely physical], and
that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Do not be surprised that I have told you, ‘You must be born again [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, sanctified].’
Flesh and blood
Flesh and blood absolutely cannot inherit The Kingdom of God. Are you still merely “of the flesh”… or have you surpassed that and been “born again” by the Holy Spirit? “You must be born again”, Jesus said.
* Natural Birth. Getting through the birth canal alive gets you a physical life to live (for maybe 75-95 years) and then you eventually, with sin and all – go to Hell. (See: Me, When I Die, still in sin)
But, there is something better:
* Spiritual Birth. Getting born again (v7) gets you started living a forever life, with your sin declared “forgiven” – ready for Heaven. (See: Me, When I Die, still in sin)
The standard set by Jesus
The standard set by Jesus differs drastically from the standards set by all other faiths – all of them. We must remember: God Himself gives eternal life — not phony religious gurus and false teachers. I choose to follow Jesus Himself, follow His words that He left behind for us to read.
Beware: Jesus taught that there is “the faith” that saves (His Gospel), and there is “another faith” that does not save. Did your faith save you? The faith type where “anything goes” is a deceiving faith, not a saving faith.
Two types. Two end results. One you want. The others – NOT. You absolutely will regret choosing any faith except the faith that Jesus taught — the Gospel of Jesus the Messiah — The Gospel of Matthew, Mark, Luke, John and Paul.
The one-off offer Jesus makes to everyone
Jesus said He was the door through whom all must personally choose to go through — to get to His Holy Kingdom Heaven:
Jesus said to him,
“[a]I am the [only] Way [to God]
and the [real] Truth and
the [real] Life;
no one comes to the Father
but through Me.
– John 14:6
Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord God Almighty
Now THAT is radical. He was declaring that He Himself was God. Jesus declared that salvation has to come through Him. So it is easy to understand that the faith that does not save is based on anything other than Jesus. Jesus was extreme to the nth degree!
Only Jesus can save your soul for all eternity
“Those who are people of faith” – verse 9
5 So then, does He who supplies you with His [marvelous Holy] Spirit and works miracles among you,
do it as a result of the works of the Law [which you perform], or
because you [believe confidently in the message which you] heard with faith?
6 Just as Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness, [as conformity to God’s will and purpose—so it is with you also].
7 So understand that it is the people who live by faith
[with confidence in the power and goodness of God]
who are [the true] sons of [a]Abraham.
8 The Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, proclaimed the good news [of the Savior] to Abraham in advance [with this promise], saying, “In you shall all the nations be blessed.”
9 So then those who are people of faith [whether Jew or Gentile] are blessed and favored by God [and declared free of the guilt of sin and its penalty, and placed in right standing with Him] along with Abraham, the believer.
The message we must “believe in” to truly get saved — is the message of Jesus the Messiah. Is this the faith you live each day? Faith that saves is “lived-out” – not merely talked about, liked, and admired.

A faith that does not save
Have you fallen for any of the numerous religions out there, or the watered-down versions of what they call Christianity – but isn’t?
“How to be acceptable to God” is established by God Himself — not some guru or philosopher, prophet or priest. We have to think like God in order to more or less understand His ways. We don’t have to understand it all to be saved. Farther along we’ll understand why.
The religions and many thoughts of mere men are not ever going to be even close to the thinking of God. No matter how good they sound, Peter said, those who follow such… are not following Him.
See: | They were not really of us |

The reality of God’s universe is
— it’s not your universe.
It behooves us to seek after God
and get His word on things.
Our thoughts are not His thoughts.
My thoughts
will not be consulted by God
on That Day.
– From: Balancing-out my faith with my practice
Beware of leaders who claim to have God’s words for you, those who claim to see visions and do miracles. No need for false words from above. God already gave you His words for you. Those words are in …the Bible.
“Woe (judgment is coming) to the foolish prophets who are following their own spirit [claiming to have seen things] but have [in fact] seen nothing.” (Ezekiel 13:3).
This is the Lord God talking, from a passage in Ezekiel. He wanted us to know about the dangers of foolish false prophets today.
– Quoted from: They in fact have seen nothing
See: | The Controversy of God speaking directly to you |
| They in fact have seen nothing |
“Because you have spoken falsehood
and seen a lie,
therefore behold,
I am against you,”
declares the Lord God.
9 “So My hand will be against the prophets
who see false visions
and utter lying divinations….”
10 At that time many will be offended and repelled [by their association with Me] and will fall away [from the One whom they should trust] and will betray one another [handing over believers to their persecutors] and will hate one another.
11 Many false prophets will appear and mislead many. 12 Because lawlessness is increased, the love of most people will grow cold. 13 But the one who endures and bears up [under suffering] to the end will be saved. – Matthew 24:10-13

For certain people have crept in unnoticed [just as if they were sneaking in by a side door]. They are ungodly persons whose condemnation was predicted long ago, for they distort the grace of our God into decadence and immoral freedom [viewing it as an opportunity to do whatever they want], and deny and disown our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.
