Even the normal Christian life is full of uncomfortableness. We must, as believers, maintain hope in Christ and not shipwreck our faith. Be strong in Christ.
After you have suffered for a little while
Suffering -pain- worries…all come at us here on earth. Scripture tells us “…be firm in your faith.” He is my Shepherd (Psalm 23). We are told “casting all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully]” – 1 Peter 5:6-9.
Endurance with your faith
“Your life is a journey you must travel with a deep consciousness of God.” (1 Peter 1:18-21) To be a “Christian” requires endurance. I want to finish well. How about you?
Livin’ it to the max!
What kind of thinking person would reject God in order to stubbornly spend one short lifetime for dubious pleasures here, when God offers non-stop eternal life with Him, all the goodness of the Creative Designer Himself – in His forever Kingdom? Really? Reject Him for this wisp here? Only a fool. Not me. Now that I belong to Jesus — I’m livin’ it to the max!
