Jesus solved the damning factor that resulted from sin. He did this by dying on the cross for all of it John 3:16-18. THAT is what that was all about.

Hell was formed because of sin. First, the sin of Lucifer. Second, the fall of man.
God loved us so very greatly, however, that He sent His only Son to take the punishment for our sin. Since God works within His own nature, and is just, that death of God gave God the power of justice to offer profer forgiveness. In His Courts sin is adjudicated MerWeb. adjudicate: to settle judicially, legally solved.
Thus, because Jesus paid it all – God can forgive. The heavenly decree against us, His Condemnation, has been killed-off, done with – legally Romans 8. In His salvation we are set free – forever.
Romans 8:1
Therefore there is now no condemnation [no guilty verdict, no punishment] for those who are in Christ Jesus [who believe in Him as personal Lord and Savior].
We are forgiven forever when we give it up to Jesus. That is what Jesus gives to repentant sinners like me and you.
Are you qualified for Heaven? Or not saved yet? There is a Hell of a difference.
