Introduction… nothing added, nothing taken out
God is very specific “this is how God loved the world” – John 3:16 ESV
God loves us so much – He died for us. The Bible explains all about our sin which separates us from His Holiness. It explains clearly our need for God’s saving grace Galatians 1:6-9.
And, most importantly: It is very explicit with the specificities of what Jesus requires for entry into His Holy Kingdom. It is so very clear to see.
I so very much want to be in-line with Creator God – Father of All, following Him closely with all He shared with us – especially with what He said about how to become saved for all eternity.
The Gospel is very simple Romans 10:13 AMP.
Romans 10:12-13 YLT
12 for there is no difference between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord of all [is] rich to all those calling upon Him,
13 for every one — whoever shall call upon the name of the Lord, he shall be saved.’
But simple humans complicate it, corrupt it, adulterate it. And so their confession is not what God wanted at all Galatians 1:6-9. 1
God is very specific. Are you? What about you, when you approached Him for salvation? What was it like – your confession to Jesus?
The rich young ruler
A man who acted right, living very righteously,
approached Jesus and said,
I’ve done it all right. What more do I need
to inherit the Kingdom?
Jesus replied, “One thing you lack….”
Excerpt from: One thing you lack
The rich young ruler (Mark 10:17, Luke 18:18, Matthew 19:16) turned away from God totally disappointed because he loved his lifestyle more than he loved Jesus. He thought he had it all together, that he was absolutely ready to meet his Maker.
That you? What will it be like to miss the way to heaven — because you lacked just one thing?!
Mark 10:21:
21 Looking at him, Jesus felt a love (high regard, compassion) for him, and He said to him, “You lack one thing: go and sell all your property and give [the money] to the poor, and you will have [abundant] treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me [becoming My disciple, believing and trusting in Me and walking the same path of life that I walk].” – Mark 10:21
Don’t let “one thing” keep you from hearing God say to you “entrance granted” into His Holy Kingdom. I so extremely want to hear His Welcome Home “good and faithful servant” Matthew 25:21. Don’t you?
– Matthew 25:21
Excerpt from: One thing you lack
Are you still looking for loopholes? Or, are you still in that rut, doing religion and philosophizing?
“3 how will we escape [the penalty] if we ignore such a great salvation [the gospel, the new covenant]? For it was spoken at first by the Lord, and it was confirmed to us and proved authentic by those who personally heard [Him speak]” – Hebrews 2: verse 3
It is a fearful thing to consider being rejected by a damning God. How far would you go to NOT be God-damned? One writer put it this way. This is my paraphrase of Matthew 18:9:
– Swift paraphrase of Matthew 18:9: Extreme Faith
I would gouge-out my own eye — if doing so would release me from enslavement and help me believe, so as to not be thrown into a God damned eternity without any of the goodness of God.
– Swift paraphrase *See the original – Matthew 18:9
– Source: One thing you lack
Knowing it all… does not save you. But as they say, “knowing is believing” Romans 10:14, and by knowing – we can confirm and affirm that we have, or have not, accepted His parameters to get saved. See: What being “saved” means. There are limits to His grace.
You can get saved. Follow His Words.
But how will people call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how will they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher (messenger)?
– Romans 10:14
Jesus the Godman said “Follow Me”
Jesus was the supreme messenger. He brought His message from Heaven. God did not bring a message to be adapted, added to, or messed with in any way. It is what it is, and it is His Message.
IF, in our conversion experience (our confession for salvation) we accept all that Jesus asks of us, we can then rest assured that we are truly saved. It’s not a matter of doing all and acting perfectly – but rather giving all, yeilding to Him a 100% given-over heart, holding-back nothing.
Making a different salvation
God’s Warning is…don’t let an adulterated gospel damn you all to Hell.
There is a particular kind of damning dissidence which some people of faith adopt into their confession of faith and doctrine. These folk have a disagreement with the God who offers His Salvation. They become followers of a different kind of faith than what Jesus offers.
Their dissidence is their “wanna-be” and their “whatch-ya-be” because of “whatch-ya-made-it-be“. Do you know yourself and Scripture well enough?
Did you mess with what God is offering, to the point that you are now perhaps following a different gospel?
Excerpt from The Moment of IF
Don’t fool yourself. Jesus will most certainly say to many:
“You are NOT of My household” Matthew 7:20-24, Luke 13:22-30.
The worst moment ever, that. Will you be turned away by Jesus?
– Source: The Moment of IF
See Matthew 7:20-24 and Luke 13:22-30 in one link here.
Do you recognize that kind of dissidence? The truth is you cannot have it your way. Nobody can. God made His Way of Salvation – in His own Way. The only Way everlasting. The rest is just staying damned.
Salvation in Christ
It is what it is. God has shared His Way with us. It is not “whatch-ya-made-it-be“. Salvation is not something you make up for your own convenience. Changing it – makes it into something else, something that does not work.
Are you saved by God? Or are you hoping your own way will be good enough? 2
Really want to entrust your eternal soul to THAT?
Salvation is not by our own efforts – but by personally receiving His sheer mercy, the extreme grace of God. We must believe Him at His Word.
Or, the other choice is there also: believe things your way, at your own word. The crux of the matter? Is yours acceptable by Jesus? MerWeb: crux
Are you at rest, assured, about your salvation? Or…are you making it your way?
Better to know now, than to discover too late that we never were saved at all. What a horror that will be for many, truly — the ultra extreme unresolvable horror upon arrival for Gods condemnation.
What a joy divine for His saved ones arriving! Oh how marvelous is His grace bestowed on repentant sinners who follow Him. I am ecstatic that Jesus saved me.
Let’s lo0k into this:
The Pure Gospel of Jesus Christ
…Explained…
1. We are created for His purposes
2. We are created with independence
1. Created for His Purposes
In His love, God created us for His purposes – to be a people dedicated to Him. God first chose the Jews, and then Gentile peoples.
Even in His chosing of the Jews in Abraham, God was including any Gentile who would believe also. Today, He has His Church, made up by both Jews and Gentiles who follow Jesus, as His “set apart” ones. Salvation was a mystery – until Jesus the Messiah came down to earth.
“God is eternal, and He fulfills His promises throughout eternity. Get out of your tiny world perspective and see God’s.”
– Source: The blessing of God on His Chosen People – the Jews
2. Created with Independence
God knew beforehand that His creatures would rebel against Him. No surprise there. That too was a part of His Creation.
He did not create sin, but He created humans who could. His goal right from the start – was to have an independent people who would choose Him 100% over all else. Have you chosen Him above all else?
3. His Predetermined Death for Sinners
God determined, before the foundation of the world – to die on our behalf. Even while we were still sinners – Christ died for us. That is an amazing evidence of His great love for us:
Romans 5:8
“But God clearly shows and proves His own love for us, by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
God does not wait for you to get cleaned up. He died for you while you were still a rebellious sinner rejecting Him, and He is asking you to come with all your sins and repent.
4. Salvation is a free gift of God in Christ Jesus – offered to all who will repent
Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God [that is, His remarkable, overwhelming gift of grace to believers] is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
God offers His forgiveness freely to all who will believe. In fact, there’s nothing you can do on your own to earn it Ephesians 2:9.
Become acceptable to God on the merits of your good life? Not a chance by your own capabilities. It would be like wanting to buy a $2 billion ranch, and all you have is $100. Jesus does the saving – not we ourselves by “being good”.
You cannot save yourself by working at it. Salvation will happen to you when you give Jesus all your heart. You turn from your sin, “go the other way”, and give Jesus all that you are… acting with your heart, soul, strength, and with your mind.
– Source: Believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Anointed One
See: The one-off offer Jesus makes to everyone
5. God’s decree of condemnation
All mankind is under God’s decree of condemnation and their natural destination is Hell – a forever existence without the goodness of God, away from His presence, eternally damned with “not a chance in Hell” of forgiveness after their earth time ends. Earth time is the only time we may be saved.
God’s decree of condemnation. See all in one link or: Romans 2:12, Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23, , ,
Romans 3:23
“all have sinned and continually fall short of the glory of God”
Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God [that is, His remarkable, overwhelming gift of grace to believers] is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Excerpt from Why we should fear God Almighty:
He is both
— and He is
* the damning God — the unchanging Judge of the Universe.
_________
6. All humans deserve condemnation – what God has decreed against them. God’s condemnation is correct justice. This is why we should fear God Almighty. Hell is real.
Romans 3:23 “all have sinned and continually fall short of the glory of God”
See: Earn your wages of death -or- Freely receive God’s gift of eternal life
James 2:10 10 For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles in one point, he has become guilty of all.
1 John 1:5 5 This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all.
7. The way of salvation is to admit our sin, confess and repent of them to God.
1 John 1:9
If we [freely] admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and just [true to His own nature and promises], and will forgive our sins and cleanse us continually from all unrighteousness [our wrongdoing, everything not in conformity with His will and purpose].
Our extreme God taught an extreme faith. We can read about it here with what James said in James 2:14-26. Does your faith follow what He requires for salvation? Getting saved is in itself the first step of obedience to Him. It is definitely time to give it up for Jesus.
8. The way of salvation requires obedience to Jesus. Obedience will always follow true salvation.
Excerpt from: Acting with your heart, soul, strength, and with your mind
How then should we live?
There is also a huge consequence that results from the vote we make with our lifetime. If we do not choose to truly follow Jesus, oh man! Matthew put it very clearly, what happens. He reported what Jesus said about this:
“And then I will declare to them publicly, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me [you are banished from My presence], you who act wickedly [disregarding My commands].’”
– Matthew 7:23
Think of the life God created, you – [put your name here)] He created all living creations to bring glory to Himself (to please Him). Is that what you are doing with how you live the life called – (put your name here)?
-
- with how you live your life
- with how you habitually act

Is that the Gospel you have given-up your life for? Or is it a wanna-be gospel?
their “wanna-be”
and
their “whatch-ya-be”
because of
“whatch-ya-made-it-be“
9. Rejection of God is damning in and of itself. The Way to Salvation always involves obedience to Jesus.
If you do not obey God,
you deny Him.
Your deeds show it.
See in one link or: John 14:15 and Romans 6:16
You deny God by your disobedience, disobeying His written Word. Your profession of faith is thus null and void. Scary thought.
– Source: The Way to Salvation always involves obedience to Jesus
10. Salvation is an act of God on your life which happens when you accept His free gift and commit your life to following Him. Choose Him today.
Each of us must personally repent of our sinfulness, turn from sin, and choose to follow Him with all of our being: all of my strength. 3
Deuteronomy 6:5 and 10:12, 11:13, ,,
You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and mind and with all your soul and with all your strength [your entire being].
The message of salvation
These following Bible verses contain the message of salvation. God has made it very clear: To reach Heaven we must be born again. No act of our own can save us. We yeild our life 100% to Him in repentance, and He does the saving.
John 3:3
“Truly, truly, I say to you,
unless one is born again
he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
Your confession of faith
There is no way to fool God. God will not be mocked fooled with. In your confession of faith, if you made one, or want to, your heart must be 100% given-over only to Him, or He will not accept you. You know you are truly saved – because you follow and obey His Word.
Galatians 6:7 AMP
“Do not be deceived, God is not mocked [He will not allow Himself to be ridiculed, nor treated with contempt nor allow His precepts to be scornfully set aside]; for whatever a man sows, this and this only is what he will reap.”
NOG version:
“Make no mistake about this: You can never make a fool out of God. Whatever you plant is what you’ll harvest.”

Conclusion
You’ve read this. Now you know God’s message of Salvation. Now God is saying to you:
You k-n-o-w what I like “You know what I like”. 4
Why would anyone ignore God’s wishes?
Jesus Christ
came to earth as Godman
in order to make it possible
for mankind to be forgiven by God.
We can either choose to follow
God’s way,
or make our own way.
But only God’s way
through Christ
will ever make us acceptable
to a perfect God.
Kind of a narrow way, eh?
Yep.
That was His idea, not ours.

Salvation happens from the heart.
If your heart is right, it’s simple – all you do is cry out to God. See: Jeremiah 33:3 KJV, Matthew 11:28
Salvation starts when we accept Him for all He is and does, and consequently follow Him daily with submission to His written Word.
If your heart is “wrong”, if it is cracked, if you are “withholding obedience” or are merely at the brink – then there is work by God yet to be done. He must bring you to the point where you are “ready to join” Him.
Salvation happens on the spot… and from thereon we begin to mature, grow in grace 2 Peter 3:18, desire to please Him, saved for sure, but now becoming more and more like Christ.
FOR MORE: *This time this is a very long section!
What God has written John 20:31 for us in the Bible – is the pure Gospel of Jesus Christ. God only accepts those who come to Him according to His Gospel. Don’t fall for the fake, useless types of faith. They cannot save because there is no other saving Gospel!

His Way
Pure Gospel Verses about Salvation Excerpt: The most important part of life on earth, bar none, is: be ready to join Jesus in the next. To join Jesus there, the Bible says, we must get there according to the instructions He made for us. We cannot make-up our own.
He made Heaven. He made the Entrance. He is the Keeper of the Gate.
He has told us how to get there. His Way is sure.

The hold-up is …He does not save the one who does not bow to receive it (“repent”), nor follow Him. Don’t resist and reject. Don’t be a rejector. Be receptive.
Being saved means forever never again condemned…changed completely – forever
Synopsis of Salvation
Salvation happens from the heart:
The Way everlasting…the Only Way Excerpt: Hell of a place – Hell. Ready for that? But wait – Jesus died to make a way to Heaven!
What God wants Excerpt: Have you given any thought as to what God wants? What does God want from you? We are each unique creatures birthed into flesh by God. Life happens to us in seemingly capricious episodes of contrasting good and evil. Is your faith a true faith, a saving faith characterized by giving Jesus your love with “all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength”? That is what God wants. Don’t deny Jesus by your deeds.
Sincerity and Truth Excerpt: If I pray to Jesus, but fail to make His ways – my ways, then how true was my “confession” and my promise to follow Him? How sincere was my “repentance”? How true? How sincere? I’d say: not at all! It’s not honest, not sincere – at all.
Do you say, “I am a person of faith”? What faith do you actually follow? Faith without resultant action that evidences that faith – is a fake faith James 2:20, 26, dead faith, useless – not real. Jesus does not save people of dead faith.

If Jesus discerns you have stood against Him, the consequence comes to you on That Day when you kneel in anguish and fear before God. He will say, basically: You have come before Me, before the seat of My Eternal Court, and I am against you.

From the beginning of time, He wants all of us to be saved. And now HE is saving people from Hell — in that very moment when they first believe.
The Gift by His precious undeserved grace…bestowed on those who accept His free gift
The message of salvation spoken by Jesus to Paul…It’s found all over the New Testament! Excerpt: Jesus shared His good news of salvation to the murderer Paul. It knocked him off his horse! Jesus said to him, ‘I am Jesus whom you are persecuting. Jesus spoke this to Paul on the road to Damascus – one short verse that explains the Gospel of salvation in Jesus, in Acts 26:18.
Salvation in Christ is beyond HUGE!…the true version of salvation
It really is Eternity at stake here
Choose to change Eternity…God has divided Eternity
What being saved means…you can get saved – if you Turn from sin – Turn to Jesus
Being saved means forever never again condemned…John 10:27-30
Getting saved is fast. Be saved in one minute. Excerpt: Yes, getting saved is fast. Takes one minute. But so is …going to Hell. Don’t let death catch you unsaved. That would ruin your day your eternity. Yikes, Ikes!
Getting ready for Heaven takes just a short minute of your time. But that minute saves you an eternity of bad minutes.
One minute away from the Kingdom of God Excerpt: How close are you to the Kingdom of God? Really! Think about it: Are you set to go? Or are you far from? Every unbeliever is only one prayer away from the Holy Kingdom of God.
Are you ready to meet your Maker?…set to go?
What knowing the Bible does for you

Excerpt from Why we should fear God Almighty:
He is both
* the loving, forgiving God

* the damning God — the unchanging Judge of the Universe.
Acknowledge God and consider Him worth knowing
Oh my God so mighty and beyond comprehension
So does God ever say “What do you think, Joe? Jane, What should I do?”

God’s System of Justice…He is The Judge of the Universe. His is a correct justice.
What if? God looks inside your soul and says “I am not your Lord”
What if? Excerpt: What if God really did come down to earth as the real, historical man, Jesus Christ… and walked the earth as recorded in the Bible? Wouldn’t you want to know more about Him? Do you really want to just live your life – and die having rejected “the only real God” and His message in the Bible?
Earn your wages of death -or- Freely receive God’s gift of eternal life
Want it – to know it… God’s message to us

Many are invited but few are chosen. Why you?
Those who are “people of faith”…a person of faith Excerpt: Do you claim to be “a person of faith”? There are many types out there! What faith do you claim as yours?
People follow way different “faiths”. Is your faith type following Jesus and what He taught? Is it truly yours? What makes you think that your type of “faith” is acceptable by Jesus? It’s certainly worth testing it. Eternally worth it!
There are seemingly endless faith types out there: NAR Christians, Mormons, Jehovah Witnesses, Allah, Krishna, Buddha… and on and on they go. The idea that they all end up in the same Holy Kingdom is irrational and stupididiotic! How could all these contradicting beliefs refer to one God? That is illogical.
And if your faith is contradicting Jesus — well then, that sounds like you are following something other than Jesus!
Making a different salvation…Following a different gospel
The “you will never enter” warning passages in Scripture
Ways that displease God and end in destruction Excerpt: God has warned us we will never enter His Kingdom unless we follow His Way. Here are more of His warnings explained.
God’s biggest warnings to us today
God’s Warning is…don’t let an adulterated gospel damn you all to Hell
“Those who are people of faith”…some are in a disagreement with the God who offers His Salvation. Their dissidence is their “wanna-be” and their “whatch-ya-be” and “whatch-ya-made-it-be“…and it’s not what He is asking ye. Excerpt:
“My hand will be against the prophets
who see false visions
and utter lying divinations….”
– Ezekiel 13:8-9
Do you claim to be “a person of faith”? There are many types out there! What faith do you claim as yours?

And if your faith is contradicting Jesus — well then, that sounds like you are following something other than Jesus!
Do you know yourself well…enough?…and Scripture well enough?
The Moment of IF Excerpt: Don’t fool yourself. Jesus will most certainly say to many: “You are NOT of My household” (Matthew 7:20-24; Luke 13:22-30). The worst moment ever, that. Will you be turned away by Jesus?
Double-minded means both loving Jesus AND loving a different gospel…following what does not save
This does not save…Are you following a useless faith?
I do not fear Matthew 7:23 anymore
The logic of “If this – then that” to explain useless faith
Spontaneous illogicality and double-speak
Religion and philosophizing…Yikes, Ikes!
Really want to entrust your eternal soul to THAT? Excerpt: Your soul is the most important part of you, you know? It is eternal. The mentality of it’s “here today and gone tomorrow” is a loser. The soul is not “gone tomorrow”. It is you. And you are eternal, created by God for eternity. You will live forevermore.
Value your eternity
If you value how you will live in eternity — never trust your soul to anyone else but Jesus Himself. He is the Eternity Maker. The Maker of all that is. And He wants you to live with Him eternally in His Home Heaven.
So you think you are a Christian saved by His amazing grace
There is no other saving Gospel
Why you are an apostate, not saved, still lost
Specific salvation parameters Jesus absolutely requires
We don’t get into a Holy Kingdom by being sinful…we are His “set apart” ones
God is asking your to repent…He is asking you to come with all your sins and repent
Turn from – Turn to…turn to Jesus alone – nothing added, nothing left-out
It’s all or nothing – James 2:20 Can you be following Jesus if your heart and mind and soul and strength are elsewhere Excerpt: What you say is absolutely worthless – without all of you behind it in action. I think what God is saying here is: It’s all or nothing.
Being 100% given-over to Jesus
The many hardhearted mind closed…love the Lord with all of who you are
Proverbs 3:5
Trust in and rely confidently on the Lord with all your heart. And do not rely on your own insight or understanding.
Galatians 6:7
Do not be deceived, God is not mocked [He will not allow Himself to be ridiculed, nor treated with contempt nor allow His precepts to be scornfully set aside]; for whatever a man sows, this and this only is what he will reap.
Your confession of faith…must be genuine, must be total surrender to Him
What was it like – your confession to Jesus?…was it a total confession or just a “bits and pieces” confession?
Have you always assumed Jesus accepted your confession?
Was your confession accepted by God?
Being 100% given-over to Jesus…only to Jesus
Don’t rely on “once saved always saved” theology
Is Jesus’ worldview your worldview? Excerpt:
If your heart follows to the beat of
a different drum
than what the band of Jesus marches to;
if how you see the world
is not how Jesus sees the world;
if you are FOR
what Jesus is AGAINST…
where is your belief in Jesus?
“once saved always saved”…Read more about this very real doctrine the Bible teaches, here:
Don’t rely on “once saved always saved” theology Excerpt: I totally believe in the promise: once saved always saved. After all, THAT is what the Bible teaches.
However…. There is power in the words. Read it again: once saved….
** Were you, really saved? Were you ever even saved in the first place? We are exhorted in Scripture to prepare well for our eternity. Might be advisable to do that now. See more about the issue of your confession here:
I repeat this because it is vital:
What was it like – your confession to Jesus?
Have you always assumed Jesus accepted your confession?
Was your confession accepted by God (It could be – NOT.)
Through grace and sheer mercy…His sheer mercy, the extreme grace of God
I grasped that the righteousness of God is that righteousness by which through grace and sheer mercy God justifies us through faith. Thereupon I felt myself to be reborn and to have gone through open doors into paradise.
– Martin Luther, quoted by David Zahl, Justify Yourself; Christianity Today, Jan-Feb 2017; p.37.
Christ secured our Eternal Home…He gave us a forever salvation
Never Again Excerpt: The true believer is in Christ, “reborn from above” – never to be “unborn” again. The true believer will never again be under the condemnation of God. Ever.
“That act of becoming born again — is an act of God upon our life. We don’t do it — He does it! And that is why it will never be undone. The true believer was made so by God, and God promises that His “rebirthing” (“have been reborn from above“-v3) sets us apart forever. From that moment in time we are “forever creatures”, eternal, never to be separated from His love!”
– From the article: Watch out for the dogs!
How capable do you think God Almighty is? I’d say: Quite capable!
Oh How Marvelous Excerpt: Marvelous grace. To a sinner, what else could be so marvelous? God’s grace, that “un-merited” bestowing of a blessing on me. Just because of Him. Just because He chooses to do so within His Heavenly legal system.
The Gift by His precious, undeserved grace
What it means to repent – 2 Corinthians 7:10 Excerpt: worldly sorrow
Well, first off we must acknowledge that it is not “worldly sorrow” the hopeless sorrow of those who do not believe. Worldly sorrow is like the criminal who is sad he got caught. THAT is not repenting of the evil acts he did.
With “godly sorrow” we submit to the will of God. That sorrow produces repentance. Real repentance comes from a heart that submits to God. He then leads to salvation.
The God to whom I belong and whom I worship
What God secures – You cannot “lose”
Why we never lose our salvation in Christ…never again
Being saved means forever never again condemned…THAT is what the Bible teaches
Can I become unsaved for any reason?

The Proof about Jesus is all there. Easy to see. We just reject it outright, or believe

“By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error” Excerpt:
Test for truth 1 Thessalonians 5:21
There is a simple test John puts forward here in 1 John 4:1-6. We can easily test those who teach the Bible. We must – to know if they are of God or actually a wayward heretic apostate.
Why you are an apostate, not saved, still lost
Many false prophets and teachers have gone out into the world. Excerpt: Sadly, their teachings are pure junk. We must guard against them. Who wants to be following untruth? I, for one, want to follow The Truth, Jesus Himself, the real Jesus — not a false antichrist.
The Problem with different brands of “Christian faith”…the fake
“Those who are people of faith” …some are in a disagreement with the God who offers His Salvation. Their dissidence is their “wanna-be” and their “whatch-ya-be” and “whatch-ya-made-it-be“…and it’s not what He is asking ye. Excerpt:

Called by Jesus to be forever on a higher level
Being pleasing Excerpt: It’s not an easy road
I do not live willy-nillie. I discipline my daily life to live like Jesus would in my situation. Sometimes I fail.
But now, more and more I make less and less room in the cavern of my mind for the sins of life (Romans 6:12-14). There is less of the selfish outlook, egotism, lusts of the flesh, erroneous thinking… and the list goes on and on (James 4:3). I aim for straight-out righteous! (link to quote at end of article)
The Righteous Person Excerpt: Avoiding Evil.
How to be more righteous
A Swift proverb
based on the various translations of Job 11:12
Don’t be an empty-headed wild ass who thinks he knows it all. You’re so vain! You were never “born free”. Don’t be a stupid person who can’t tame himself! If you are a fool – forget about it! You’ll never become wise. It’s more likely that a wild donkey will give birth to a human!

Little by little I have been matching-up the desires of my heart — to be the desires of what God desires. My worldview is more and more matching-up to God’s view. See: 2 Corinthians 5:6-10

Footnotes
- For example: Lets say a restaurant offers… coarse sea salt, fine sea salt, pink sea salt, salt with iodine, salt without iodine.
The waitress asks you, “Which salt do you want?”
What will you get if you merely say “Salt” but you really wanted “pink sea salt”? You would not get what you thought you asked for, right?!
Do you claim to be “a person of faith”? There are many types out there! What faith do you claim as yours?People follow way different “faiths”. Is your faith type actually following Jesus and what He taught? Is it truly yours? What makes you think that your type of “faith” is acceptable by Jesus? It’s certainly worth testing it. Eternally worth it!
There are seemingly endless faith types out there: NAR Christians, Mormons, Jehovah Witnesses, Allah, Krishna, Buddha… and on and on they go. - We cannot be 100% sinless, but rather 100% yeilded, given-over to Him. Sinners we are from the start, then we get saved. And we are still sinners, but we have been born again, changed forever, but saved sinners we are till we are called Home.
We live in a temp world, with a temp body, and will struggle against sin all our life. We chose daily to reject sins – and follow Him faithfully.
- AI Search. “You know what I like” is a phrase commonly used in discussions or forums, often to express personal preferences or opinions. It can be found in various contexts, including gaming communities and social interactions.
-
Believing “in the name…” means you believe in “all that Jesus Christ is and does“.
See BibleGateway list of references to: “the name of Jesus“.
When you (if you did), or I, said, “I accept Christ as my Lord and Savior”, a whole lot of “accepting” is going on there in that moment in time. Are you aware of what-all it actually requires to truly “accept Christ”?
We did not just say,
“Yes, He was a great guy”, nor:
“I like Jesus. He was a great teacher”, nor:
“I accept that Jesus was a great philosopher”, nor:
“He and I are on great terms. He is my friend.”
Or did you [is that what you did?]. Scary thought.
Accepting Jesus – Plus Some Other is a type of fake faith, and both have folks of such “faith” – Going to Hell. Outward religion does not save. Those types are on a road that seems to be taking them to Heaven, but they are actually on their way to Hell. Another scary thought.
