Ever been with a group of guys, or women, and some ugly statements popped out of your mouth about someone not there? Ever issued slander out of your mouth?
Slander means MerWebster:
“1: the utterance of false charges or misrepresentations which defame and damage another’s reputation
2: a false and defamatory oral statement about a person”
Where does slander come from?
19 For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murders, acts of adultery, other immoral sexual acts, thefts, false testimonies, and [a Or abusive speech] slanderous statements. – Matthew 15:19
Abusive words flow right up from your heart. Wow. Been there lately?
