Going “out”
When you go outside the faith — you manifest that you yourself had a cracked heart at the moment of your supposed conversion experience: You did not yeild 100% to Jesus. You are out of His limited grace. According to 1 John 2:19 KJV you were never saved!
19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.
– 1 John 2:19 KJV
Got a cracked heart? It has happened to others before you came along. It could be true with you too.
Have you gone out? Does that possibility not terrify you?
How very very terrifying to think “I’m not saved?” I am so weak of heart, I cannot walk for long alone until I waver and am flooded with old fears.
What if…
- What if Jesus is not Lord and Savior of my sin drenched soul? And…
- What if I am self-deceived, a fake?
- What if I’m not all His, I’ve held-back somewhere?
- What if I died and found myself in Hell?
- What wicked way is in me that will send my soul to Hell?
- What may I have failed to see as sin, and it remains in me? I practice what the Lord condemns. I say it’s just fine, but He says not.
- I deceive myself all to Hell and I am damned.
- I’m damned all to Hell.
- What if tomorrow never comes and today I go to Judgement at His feet and He now loves me not?
- What if He puts me in a goat fold where we’re huddled fearful, in terror of this Holy, Holy God, where He tells us all, “…depart from Me— you losers, workers of wickedness, all.”
- Source: My terrors in the dark place.
Have you deviated from the one and only, pure Jesus’ Gospel? Was there s0mething you held-back, like with the man who Jesus challenged, saying to him: “One thing you lack”.
Have you withheld a piece of your heart? Will you be turned away by Jesus? Very scary thought.
Must have “the same kind as ours”…no other can save you
The Gospel of Jesus is clarified here by Peter. Your faith, my faith — must be “the same [b]kind as ours“, Peter says. You can dispute it all the way to God’s Holy Judgement Day. But God’s reality is this: the faith you receive must not come from those who are “out“:
“To those who have received
a faith of the same [b]kind as ours,
[c]by the righteousness of
our God and Savior, Jesus Christ”
– 2 Peter 1: verse 1 NASB
Are you practicing what God has condemned? Caught-up with a practice God has said not to practice? That practice is what puts you outside because it is not “the same kind as ours“. The Living version says, “you who have our kind of faith“.
“To: All of you who have our kind of faith. The faith I speak of is the kind that Jesus Christ our God and Savior gives to us. How precious it is, and how just and good he is to give this same faith to each of us.”
– 2 Peter 1:1 TLB
Was your confession accepted by God?
Disqualifying Practices
You are “out” if you “practice” what God has condemned. Scripture warns us, you are “disqualified” and cannot enter His Holy Kingdom. Heaven help us! But by then it’s too late. Now is good. Later… not at all good. Accept Jesus now while He still can be found.
You are “out of compliance”, so to speak. You may say, “It don’t matter to me!” But it sure as Hell will someday, soon. Life is short, and then comes the reckoning, The Bummer. 1
The sins of some “go before them”. Your sin is quite obvious to all if you are a: murderer, arsonist, hater, etc. Also the NAR-type Charismatic, if you know your Bible well, is also one who’s sins “go before them”. But they are self-deceived and so of course do not recognize their practices as “what God is against”. They keep their sin. They refuse to admit their sin.
No man can see into the heart of another. Only God can. But we can discern what fruit is produced in a person – by their actions, speech, philosophies, views expressed (like in social media), doctrines, religious practices. What does your life fruit look like?
The one who is truly saved “puts his-her full trust in Jesus, sincerely bowing his-her will to Him” Source: Limited Grace, conforming his-her practices to Scripture. To the contrary, we show ourselves to be “outside” His grace by keeping sin, not bowing the knee in key areas of our heart. Are you expecting His Holiness to bless your hold on sin?
You don’t get to Heaven by sinning
Reject Sin
Except for unbeliefism 1 it is truly true that all sins are forgiveable through Jesus. However, this forgiveness by God requires the sinner to repent with sincerity and truth. You most certainly do NOT get to Holy Heaven by sinning.
No repentance – no salvation. Keep ahold of a sin, and you keep ahold of God’s condemnation.
God’s grace teaches us to reject sin

__________
These are difficult, tumultuous days of uncertainty. Apostasy is everywhere. So we must prepare our eternity carefully – very very carefully — even to the point of fear and trepidation.
The rich young ruler (Mark 10:17, Luke 18:18, Matthew 19:16) turned away from God totally disappointed because he loved his lifestyle more than he loved Jesus. He thought he had it all together, that he was absolutely ready to meet his Maker. That you? What will it be like to miss the way to heaven — because you lacked just one thing?!
– Source: One thing you lack
Will you follow only Jesus? Or do you love your brand, “your religion”, your Charismatic beliefs, too much to leave them behind? If you do not leave them…
Your disappointment is scheduled
(Hebrews 9:27)
“Our death day
is appointed by God.
He knows the future.
But for those who turn to Jesus
– that day will NOT be a disappointment.
It will be the greatest day we have ever had!
The love of God does not disappoint.”
– Source: Your disappointment is scheduled
In these days, Jesus is not physically here to warn us as He did several times to individuals while on earth. But the Holy Spirit is here on earth – and He, the Spirit, warns us. The Holy Spirit is working in the hearts of all on earth. He wants to win them to Himself. Are you attentive to Him?
Is He winning with you, or what? The warning from Scripture is: Leave your practice of sin (whatever it is) and turn to Jesus while He still can be found.
“…but they went out,
that they might be made manifest
that they were not all of us.”
– 1 John 2:19b KJV
This “out” (ie: “…but they went out….”) of course is not possible for the true follower of Christ. They are in! But it is a sure thing for those holdouts MirWeb:to remain unsubdued or unyielding, those practicing what God is against. They are out. See:
Practicing Sin – Not Following Christ
__________
Bob Dylan wrote this song about getting to Heaven (find it here at dylanchords.com)
Tryin' to get to heaven:
When you think that you've lost everything, You find out you can always lose a little more. I'm just going down the road feelin' bad, Tryin' to get to heaven before they close the door.
It’s a scary conclusion John makes, saying: “none of them are of us“.
Breaking-up 1 John 2:19 KJV in its phrases:
They went out from us, but
they were not of us
but they went out
made manifest that they were not
they were not …of us.
100% are false…if teaching false doctrine
Scripture itself tells us, of those many who are teaching false doctrine: “none of them are of us“. That is a high percentage. (You think?) You too can be one of them, one of those “not really of us“.
What “group think” have you fallen for? Or are you faithful to what Jesus taught? When did you become double-minded, wander away, lose your way? What are you maybe unaware of? What escapes your notice, perhaps?
Stick to your own understanding
The defining error of an apostate faith is: they practice what God has said He is against. Why would anyone who wants to follow Jesus — turn around and “on-purpose” integrate a practice God hates? That is how strong a deception they are into.
To the contrary, by Paul and Proverbs and …pretty much throughout the Bible, we are warned:
Trust in
and rely confidently on
the Lord
with all your heart
And do not rely on
your own insight
or understanding.
– Proverbs 3:5
See Pertaining to Charismatics:
The controversy of God speaking to you directly
Delusion is absolutely stupid and foolish
All of us eventually came to that moment of IF. And IF we choose to stick to our own understanding, that is the moment where we chose our own thinking.
And, you know, your thinking is limited. How can you know God’s unlimited mind, God’s realm? God’s Gospel is unlimited thinking. Rather than believing the clear message from God — many have deviated into false teachings, and began to practice sin. Oh regret!
Anything contrary to the will of God
That is the problem – an eternal life problem. The problem with some wannabee Christians is: they practice sin. The practice of anything contrary to the will of God — is to fall into “practicing sin”. And Scripture is clear:
1 John 3:4 Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness [ignoring God’s law by action or neglect or by tolerating wrongdoing—being unrestrained by His commands and His will].
1 John 1:6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness [of sin], we lie and do not practice the truth;
1 John 3:6 No one who abides in Him [who remains united in fellowship with Him—deliberately, knowingly, and habitually] practices sin. No one who habitually sins has seen Him or known Him.
Mild, harmless and okay
Sin does not always seem “so drastic”. In fact it can seem innocent and “okay”. We tend to kind’a like it.
Sin can be as mild as a simple lie. “How harmless is that!”, some say. “There is no victim here!”
The clearly vile? Those sins we recognize on the spot. The vile disgusts a rational person. Few fall for those.
But it is those seemingly innocuous acts that trip up the unwary. And thereby many stumble and fall.
What you think and practice as compared with what Jesus thinks
When difficult times assail us

“Hey Baby! Are you being warned?”
Are you being warned by the Holy Spirit?…about being “out”
The first followers of Joseph Smith, the hugely successful Mormon leader, were led-off by a well known Christian pastor. Nothing so drastic there. But don’t let numbers seduce you. They failed to see Smith’s seemingly “innocuous” teachings as falsities.
Same with NAR-types, Jehovah‘s Witnesses (JWs), Christian Science… and all the other religions and cults. They follow false teachers who have misread, and misinterpreted the Bible. Seemingly innocent, they put-up an attractive, innocuous presence. And with that they deceive and capture hearts.

Speaking with love about what is true and what is false
Straight out of the womb the human condition requires some kind of biblical heart-felt prayer to Jesus for repentance. The Bible actually does speak of that “turn to Jesus moment” which so many ridicule. God is asking for a true repentance.
Have you turned to Jesus in repentance? Have you had a real “turn to Jesus moment”, that moment in time where everything changed for you-with-God?
…the power of the Gospel. Without repentance there is no real faith and without real faith there is no conversion and without converversion there is no new creation and without new creation there is no salvation and without salvation there is no hope.

FOR MORE:
Is God warning you about being outside the faith which Jesus Himself shared with His disciples? The faith you receive must not come from those who are “out”. Peter said true salvation is only through “a faith of the same kind as ours” (2 Peter 1:1 TLB).

Limited Grace Excerpt: Salvation in Christ is not a willy-nilly “free for all” gift bin.
You can’t just say “Okay Jesus”, “Sure thing – God”. The Gospel of Christ is not a “come one, come all” offer by God.
God does offer salvation to all mankind. But you must come with sincerity and truth, and identify totally with His Way… not stay in your own sinful ways.
Salvation is offered to “whosoever will…”, but the “will” must accept and follow Him – obey His Way.

Called by Jesus to be forever on a higher level Excerpt: Salvation in Christ is a huge wonder. It’s a calling to be an actual child of God (not merely a puny human “creation” of His). It’s a calling to live with Him forever in His Home Heaven. Oh happy day!

Well-thought-through rules, however, can be our personal checklist for living the way we really want to live, instead of falling for traps along the way. One thing you lack is found in Mark 10:21, Luke 18:22, Matthew 19:21. Read these in one link.
Mark 10:21
Looking at him, Jesus felt a love (high regard, compassion) for him, and He said to him, “You lack one thing: go and sell all your property and give [the money] to the poor, and you will have [abundant] treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me [becoming My disciple, believing and trusting in Me and walking the same path of life that I walk].”
Luke 18:22
When Jesus heard this, He said to him, “You still lack one thing; sell everything that you have and distribute the money to the poor, and you will have [abundant] treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me [becoming My disciple, believing and trusting in Me and walking the same path of life that I walk].”
Matthew 19:21
“If you wish to be perfect [that is, have the spiritual maturity that accompanies godly character with no moral or ethical deficiencies], go and sell what you have and give [the money] to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven;
and come, follow Me [becoming My disciple, believing and trusting in Me and walking the same path of life that I walk].”

What God does to prepare you for Heaven Excerpt:
What God did to each of us
Because sin separates us from Holy God, God Himself had to do something to remedy our “no-win” existence. God condemned us all to Hell because of sin. Yet because He loved us so much, He then provided a way to forgive us of all our sin (John 3:16-17) and make us ready for Heaven.
Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God [that is, His remarkable, overwhelming gift of grace to believers] is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Without a holy intervention by God, we are all God Damned. That is why God came down to earth – essentially: to intervene on our behalf… to undamn us. So you are still damned, unless you’ve been undamned through Jesus.
