When it comes to God things
Be very careful. Be extremely fearful even.
When it comes to what affects your eternity – be ultra specific with your thinking. God is.
Are you not saved yet?
Are you at the headwaters, The Source of all that is good and godly? You will not find pure waters at a poisoned stream. Go to Jesus. He is The Source. He gave proofs of His divinity. Who else did that? Nobody.
He said, “I give them eternal life.” Wow. He claimed He was the water of life John 4:14.
Check-out the evidences He Himself planted for us to believe. There are way many evidences for faith in Jesus. Prepare Your Eternity – as if you right now can determine your eternity (because – Yes – you can).

Stay far from what is not pure water
* Beware of false teachers who promise water, but are “clouds without water” Jude 1:12
* Beware of mere religions that imprison you in man-made philosophies
* Beware of betting your eternity on your own thinking, clinging to your faith about God, rejecting Jesus’ teachings. After all – who do you think you are, anyway?
* Beware of your hatred. Hating is life changing – eternal life changing. Scary thought.
There comes a time to stand for Jesus, or deny Jesus. Has your “faith” led you astray to where you are actually denying Jesus? Dangerous place to be at.
First thing in your journey to Jesus, Paul says, is – you’ve got to hear it! Of course. You hear the truth Romans 10:17, which is the “good news” – the “Gospel of Jesus Christ“, and then of a sudden faith dawns, and you have what is needed to actually “believe in Him”. But you are not saved yet! There’s more required for salvation.
You cannot just waltz into Heaven – your way. You know? Ephesians 2:8 points out this warning: “this salvation is not of yourselves [not through your own effort]”. You need what Jesus offers to everyone.
Have you fully grasped the future reality of “forever“? Daniel 6:26
The faith you place in Jesus to accept His salvation — is not just a one-and-done thing which you do on one especially spiritual day for your “religion”. That doesn’t work with God.
True conversion is a… step you take — into a forever relationship with a personal God who relates to you daily. But you must take that step on His terms. Your thinking can’t even come close to what God thinks.

What is keeping you from yielding to God? What is it about “your way” that is so appealing? This is what the Apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, my unauthorized paraphrase:
9 Don’t you know this!?
…that those who live their own way
will not actually get into God’s Kingdom?
They won’t have even the slightest share in it!
Don’t fool yourself by your limited thinking.
Not one person who lives their life their own way
will ever inherit the Kingdom of God or share in any part of it.
Not the sexually immoral,
not idolaters,
not adulterers,
not effeminate [by perversion],
not those who participate in homosexuality,

not drunkards,

There are entire companies nowadays cr January 30, 2024, like e-verify.gov, trulioo.com, verifythis.com… that confirm the authenticity of companies, credit cards, and such. It is needed because an immense amount of fraud would ruin the world’s economic system. Maybe you’ve suffered loss because of fraud.
The same is true of “truth”. There is an immense amount of “Fraudulent truth” out there (as in “erroneous”). It is pervasive, threatening to inundate “real truth”, drowning-out what is actually real.
