Okay! Get excited! This one should lift your spirits high – every day!
In Heaven later, and in the here and now …Colossians 3:1-4
In Jesus we are enrolled in Heaven! Our spirit has been made perfect – now, yes, in Heaven and right now. Our name is in The Book of Life – now! Are you in The Book of the Living?
We are justified now before Holy God (Romans 8:1,Romans 5:16)… only through Jesus.
22 But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem,
and to myriads of [a]angels, 23 to the general assembly
and church of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven,
and to God, the Judge of all,
and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect,
24 and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood, which speaks better than the blood of Abel.
“Looking only at Jesus…”
Daily, “looking only at Jesus” we find:
“We rid ourselves of every obstacle
We rid ourselves of the sin which so easily entangles us
We run with endurance the race that is set before us
We endure – for the joy set before us
We will not grow weary
We will not lose heart”
Through grace and sheer mercy
Jesus is my refuge and strength, my hope. Jesus is all I need… to get by.
“…do this well,
fearless in your struggle,
keeping a firm grip
on your faith
and on yourself.
After all, this is a fight we’re in.”
– 1 Timothy 1:
verse 18 The Message (MSG)
Are you “right on the edge of trusting him forever“? Doesn’t matter who you are, where you’ve been, what you’ve done, how bad you are, how depraved you’ve been – Jesus died to provide a way for you to be saved forever. Through the death and resurrection of Jesus you can be made brand new inside.
